After you steal the God Killer truck needed to transport the device Leon will use to kill the Sludge God source in John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando, you still need one more item to lure it.
Just like any wild monster, you need bait, but in this case, no ordinary bait will work. That’s why you must track down the special bait Leon has pinpointed on your map.

Find The Radar Tower

The first thing you need to do is recover an ID card, but you do not know its exact location. This is why you need to head to one of the Hopewell radar towers in the area to locate it.
There are several towers on the map, but you will receive the objective marker for the one you need to reach. Make sure to take the nearest vehicle that spawns to reach the radar tower quickly.

Once you arrive, make your way to the very top of the tower, where you will find a laptop you can use.
In some cases, the laptop may not be functioning and will require a battery, which is usually found at the tower.

With this laptop, you can interact with it to reveal the location of the ID card you need to acquire. You will then receive an objective marker on the map to guide you to it.
Obtain The ID Card

Drive your car to the ID location, and you will notice that the station is stuck to a crane and you need to use the crane to lift it.
Before interacting with the panel, make sure to eliminate all the zombies, as the process takes some time to complete.

As you lift the station, midway through, a group of blobs will cover the lift and the panel.
You need to destroy all of them before you can interact with the panel again.

After you lift the station completely, shoot one more blob, and a body will emerge from it. Interact with the body to obtain the keycard.
Reaching The Pearl

With the ID card in hand, you will be able to access the Military Depot, your next destination. Drive there, and you will spot a terminal where you can use the ID card to open the gate.

Go inside, and you will see the Anti-Sludge vehicle parked there. Unlock the gate and take control of the machine. This is a special vehicle, as it creates a barrier that keeps you safe from the heavy sludge areas.
Drive the machine while your companion stays within the radius of the barrier. Also, make sure not to crash or take damage with the vehicle, as you need it to remain in good condition.

After you reach the site, you will be able to remove the Anti-Sludge device from the back of the vehicle. There is a field expander at the center where you can place the device.
Doing this will allow the Anti-Sludge barrier to expand, letting you roam freely around the area.
Obtaining The Pearl

With everything set, you will notice that the Pearl, which serves as the bait, is covered in tendrils, and the way to remove them is by using the EMP tower.
But before doing that, this is the final phase of the mission, and by now you know how things work. You need to prepare your defenses, restock on ammo and healing, and be ready to fight a large number of enemies.

Whenever you are ready and your defenses are in place, interact with the switch to activate the EMP tower. You will have three minutes and thirty seconds to survive.
Midway through the fight, the generator will go down, and you will need to reactivate it. This time, you cannot use the panel; instead, there will be a few switches around that you need to activate to restart it.

Once you do that, you will still face a large number of zombies, and you need to survive the remaining time.
The next sequence requires you to place the device back onto the vehicle, which will remove all the tendrils from the Pearl.

Drive the vehicle and use the winch on the Pearl to attach it, then drive away from the site.
Uh-oh

Just as you are about to exit the site, Leon will notice that the monster sensed the bait moving and has come after your crew. This causes everyone to panic, leaving them unsure of what to do.
Thankfully, Leon asks Walter to push the emergency release button. This will trigger a bomb of some kind that sedates the monster, forcing it to back off for now.
This is your opportunity for the crew to escape and deliver the Pearl, allowing them to continue with their mission.
