Way To The Factory

John Carpenter's Toxic Commando

Before you can make your way to the factory and obtain the explosive charges, you need to find a Winch car.

This will spawn somewhere around the map, and its location is random each run.

John Carpenter's Toxic Commando

All you need to do is locate the car icon with the small arrow on it; it is called Maverick, so make your way there. This car is necessary to access the explosive factory.

Obtain The Explosive Charges

Once you obtain the Maverick, follow your objective marker to reach the explosive charges location. When you arrive, you will find them trapped by tendrils inside a structure.

Shoot the tendrils first to loosen them from the structure. After that, use the winch on the door to crack it open.

The charges are locked behind a security chest, which means you need to hack the security console next to it. Interact with the console, which will trigger a sequence of zombies converging on you.

Deal with the zombies first, then hack the console. This will open the security chest, allowing you to grab the explosive charges.

Now is a good time to explore the map, obtain Spare Parts, gather more ammunition and healing, and prepare for what comes next.

The God Killer Truck

John Carpenter's Toxic Commando

With the explosive charges in your possession, head toward the explosive factory. Along the way, you will encounter a sludge barricade that prevents you from passing.

This is where the charges you obtained come into play, to clear a path. Place them on the pipe and then step back.

Interact with the panel to detonate the charges, which will open the passage and allow you to progress toward the factory.

Get back in your car and drive toward the factory. You will find the road blocked by numerous tendrils along the way; all you need to do is shoot them, or have your companion do it, to clear the passage.

Clear The Sludge

After you reach the factory, you will notice that tendrils are holding the truck you need to retrieve, and the only way to remove them is by using the EMP explosive strapped to it.

Here, you will need to find a battery, place it inside, and prepare for the fight. Just like all previous quests and how they end, it is time to set up your defenses and use your Spare Parts.

John Carpenter's Toxic Commando

We recommend setting up the Mortar, as it will help you eliminate many zombies if they get too close to the truck. You can also open a weapon crate to obtain an extra heavy weapon.

Make sure you have prepared everything before detonating the charges. This will remove all the tendrils but will also trigger hordes of zombies.

Defend The God Killer Truck

John Carpenter's Toxic Commando

You will have three minutes to hold out, and the truck has a health meter, so you not only need to survive the timer but also keep an eye on the truck’s condition.

This is why we recommended the Mortar earlier. If the truck is surrounded by too many zombies, just one shot from the Mortar will eliminate them all.

Feel free to stay on the elevated structure to gain high ground and monitor all sides. After you successfully complete the objective, the truck will be yours, and you will be able to deliver it back to Leon.
