The Sludge God is hiding deep inside a drill site, which it has made its lair, spreading a very thick sludge that blocks the tunnel and prevents access. This way, no one dares to confront it, since this is its strongest stronghold.
For your next mission in John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando, you will need to clear out all the sludge and create a safe; well, not really safe, but safe-ish passage to access the site. To do this, you will need a specific EMP tower.

Obtaining The EMP Access Code
Download The Code

Before you can use the EMP tower to clear the sludge, you need to obtain the access code for it. Pick up the nearest vehicle and make your way to the objective marker.
This will lead you to a location where the EMP access code is stored, and you will need to decrypt it. Upon arrival, you will find a panel there that you can interact with.

Interacting with it will download the access code, after which you must proceed to your next location. The decrypter is now at a different site, and Leon will mark it for you on your map.
Decrypt The Data

Before you make your way to the decrypter location, you need to obtain a vehicle equipped with a winch.
Open your map and look for the car marked with the arrow icon, then drive it to the decrypter location.

Once you arrive at the decrypter site, you will find it inside a box, but it is blocked by sludge.
Shoot the sludge and then use the winch to open the door.

Before you activate the decrypter, make sure to prepare defenses if needed, as you will have to hold the transmission zone while being attacked by numerous zombies in order to complete the data transmission.
The EMP Tower

With the decryption successful, you’ve obtained the access code that will allow you to use the EMP tower. This is where you need to go next.

On your way toward the EMP tower, you will need to enter the access code on the panel outside in order to activate it. Once that’s done, you will be able to reach the main EMP tower, which will help you clear the sludge from the entrance.
This is the final phase of the mission, so you know what’s up: it’s time to prepare your defenses, use spare parts, set up traps, and restock before activating the tower.
The Sludge Blockage

When everything is set, interacting with the switch will turn on the tower and reveal the sludge weak points. You need to shoot the sludge blockage at all these weak spots to clear it.
You will be attacked by other zombies and elite zombiones while doing this, so you need to keep moving constantly, but do not forget that the main focus is clearing the sludge. The sooner you hit all the weak spots, the faster it will be.

Halfway through clearing the sludge, it will move to the EMP tower and stop it from working. You need to shoot it from the EMP and then reactivate the tower to complete the process.
This will complete the quest and bring you one step closer to finishing this chapter.
