The four of you are hired by a mysterious man to deliver an unknown package to a very specific location in John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando.
But this is where things take a sharp turn, because what starts as a simple delivery job quickly changes the life of the entire crew.

Head Toward The Drop Point

As the crew drives toward the drop point for their package, you reach the industrial site at the accident entrance. The light turns on, and the door opens, then you hear your mysterious contract man speaking on the radio.
He makes it very clear that you need to drive forward and keep proceeding ahead without stopping at all.
As the driver and his fellow friend listen to the radio call, one of the crew members notices a strange flaming monster running behind them.

The remaining members of the crew do not notice this creature, and it ends up crashing into the car, which will completely wreck the vehicle.
Assessing The Situation

As you take control of your character, you will hear some noise coming from the door on the left. Approach it and the door will open. You will find a bunch of zombies inside that you need to kill.
After you deal with them, go inside and you will be able to pick up Spare Parts.

Spare Parts are very important items that you will need to gather throughout your time playing the game. They have different uses, such as fixing broken vehicles, buying weapon cases, repairing traps, and so on.
In our case here, we need to use the Spare Parts to fix the car. After you fix the car, there is one more thing you need to do, which is refuel it.

To the right side, you will find some stairs that you can climb. Here you will find a few fuel canisters. Pick one of them and take it to the fuel tank to fill it.

With your ride back to functioning, you will be able to hop back into the car and drive it. A bunch of zombies will spawn at this time, and you will need to kill them.

Get in the car and drive toward the locked gate in front of you. Use the winch on it to pull the barricade and destroy it. This will grant you passage through the tunnels.
Don’t Stop For Anything

Keep driving through the tunnel. Eventually, you will reach a steep section of the path that you will not be able to drive through. This is where the winch comes in handy.

Aim at the pipe ahead of you and hold the drive button in order to move uphill. Remember the winch usage because you will use it a lot.
At the end of the passage, you will come across the elevator entrance, but before you can call the elevator, you need to prepare your defenses because you will be attacked by a horde of zombies.

Once again, this is where your Spare Parts come in handy. You will be able to use them to activate the turret and the trap ahead.
The Elevator

After you set both of them, head to the panel and call the elevator. This will start a one-minute timer in which you need to survive the horde of zombies ahead.
You can use the car and sit as the gunner to operate the turret and kill enemies. Once you run out of ammo, you can use your weapon, but one minute will pass very quickly.

If you need more ammunition or heals, you can use the crate to the side to restock. After you survive, the elevator door will open and you will be able to get inside.

However, you will find sludge blocking the way. Use the car EMP blast ability to clear it. After this is cleared, start the elevator and make your way to the top.

You can repair the car while waiting to reach the top. Midway through the ride, some sludge will block the way, and you will need to shoot it. You will recognize it by the red spots.
Rebooting The System

Once you’re at the top, exit the elevator and find the control room. You can locate it by following the objective marker on your HUD.
When you find the control room, interact with the panel there and open the garage. Head back to your car location and repair the elevator breaker using one Spare Part.

However, inside you will find that the sludge has taken over, and you need to fix it.
Zapping The Sludge

Head to the computer room there and activate the electrical hookup. After this, you will be able to start the generator, but before you do that, you will need to prepare your defenses because you will be attacked by a horde of zombies.

Once you feel ready, activate the generator and be prepared to kill many zombies. Meanwhile, the weak spots on the sludge will be exposed, and they are the same red spots from earlier.

You need to shoot them and destroy them in order to get rid of the Sludge Mass. After you complete this step, the door will explode, and you will be able to get out of this site.
The Plot Twist

The crew will be surprised as they see a massive creature outside the facility waiting for them. This is a far bigger monster than the one they had to deal with inside.
The monster grabs all of them using its tentacles, and despite shooting it, it does not seem to be affected at all and only appears to become angrier.
The package you were supposed to deliver seems to be the only way to escape this monster, so you throw it at the creature and shoot it. This creates a huge explosion that appears to kill the monster, or at least seems to.
This, of course, exposes the crew to potential infection, but all of a sudden a mysterious man appears and puts a device on you.

Leon, the mysterious man who asked you to deliver the package, explains that the device is meant to stop the virus from taking over. The vests are the only thing keeping it from spreading to the brain.
It turns out that the package you were supposed to deliver was some type of fuel designed to eliminate the source of this virus.
