Kingdom of Night is an indie RPG game set in the 80s with a strong horror setting. All the elements work perfectly in this game, especially the RPG ones, and the soundtrack lights up the horror atmosphere. The pixelated art also adds a lot to the game. After completing the mall section and defeating the third main boss, Cain, the fourth chapter of Kingdom of Night will begin. Now, as you have already explored many of the areas, it may feel confusing where to go next. However, fret not, as in this guide, I will tell you exactly how to complete the Kingdom of Night, Chapter Four.

My walkthrough of Kingdom of Night – Chapter Three follows the order in which I visited locations. As the game is an open-world RPG, some areas may not connect directly to the main story. If an NPC doesn’t appear for you, it may be because you missed something or haven’t completed a related quest. In most cases, these NPCs are tied to optional content, so there’s no need to worry.

Head Out Of The Mall
After the cutscene featuring Ophelia and Veronica ends, you will be back playing as the main character. So head left to the bottom and pick up the Shopping Center Key from there. Then head north, enter through the door, go left, and follow the pathway to the left side.
You will come across a lever; interact with it to open the steel gate. Before going through the door, break all the boxes around for some loot, and then go through the door. Go forward and then head north to reach the North Miami Sewers. Charon will be there, so talk to him to fast travel.
Head to Stinky’s Tavern
After you fast-travel, head inside the tavern, and Waffle will point his gun at you. He mistakes you for a goblin, and after the incident, Waffle will head to the south. From Apache Hills, you can go to where the party was being held and talk to Michael. You can make him sober if you have the Smelly Tube Socks. This will cause him to return to the tavern as well. Talk to him in the tavern to get Michael’s Brew. Make sure to get a dozen of them since they boost your resistances.
Head To The Silver Valley Research Hospital
Now it is time to head to the Silver Valley Research Hospital, so fast-travel to Claypool Street. If you cannot fast-travel there, then simply head to the right side of the main street until you reach East Miami Road. From there, go to Claypool Street and then follow the road to the right.
You will eventually come across the signboard for Silver Valley Shopping Center. Cross that, and you will reach East Miami Road again. If you have been following my walkthroughs, then you would have been here already, as we saved James from Greenbelt Park. Keep following the path to the right, and you will reach the Silver Valley Research Hospital in no time.
Enter The Silver Valley Research Hospital
Head right, enter the hospital, and then talk to Edwina Mesnard, who will give you White Cultist Robes. After putting the item on, head left and enter the room with the lights on. Interact with the patient and then interact with Ryan sitting on the chair.
You will need to return here later, so now go back and this time go past Edwina. This will also update the quest, Dream Warrior.
Investigate The Train Station
You are at the train station, so your goal now is to investigate it. You will not find anything on the east or west side, so head north from the middle, and the train will arrive. Enter the train, and you will be taken to a different place. Head south, and you will be greeted by the Monkey Man.
Explore The Land Of Nod
Talk to him and remove the robes, then talk to the sleepers. After you have spoken to some of them, head south and enter the hospital. Now go to the left side and try to enter through the same door, but you will not be able to this time since the door is locked. This will trigger some dialogues, and once they finish, head out of the hospital.
There you will see a massive line of people waiting for something. You are in the Land of Nod, so it is time to do some exploration. In the line, you will notice Jimmy, who will ask you not to cut the line, but ignore him and head left. Before going any further, you can explore the area a bit more.
At the top right and left sides is the Great Sandstorm area. Beyond that, to the north are the Goblin Slave Pits to the left, and even farther is Terrorstone Quarry. On the north right side is the Slumbertree Forest. At the bottom right is the Greenbelt Mirage, and at the bottom left is the Sea of Dreams.
Important Note
If the temple location does not appear on your map, it is because you did not interact with the pillars near the barrier. You need to interact with each pillar to start the quest related to that pillar and its temple. Once you have done this, the locations of the temples will appear on your map.
Exploring Greenbelt Mirage – Solve The First Temple
Go to the Greenbelt Mirage and head to the bottom left side of the area. Enter what looks like a strange temple and open the chest in the middle. Collect the loot, and you will get some items. You may also get a weapon that may be better than the one you currently have, so make sure to pick it up if it appears.
Then exit and follow the path to the right while heading to the southeast side. You will come across another temple-like area, but this one will have an eye at the top of it. Enter the temple, and you will find yourself inside a house instead. Head north, talk to the people ahead, and then go upstairs.
Find A Way Back From The T.V. Land
Collect the loot, then go back to the ground floor and interact with the television, and you will enter the T.V. Land. Talk to the Lone Gunman, and some enemies will appear. Defeat those enemies, and shortly after, a high-level Goblin will show up.
Defeat it and then talk to the Lone Gunman again. The credits will roll, and the show will end. After that, you will find yourself back inside the temple. Then Lilith will appear through the eyeball. It will not be Lilith in the flesh, but only a mirage. Hit the enemies once, since you will not be able to damage them.
After hitting them once, hit the eye, and you will be teleported out of the temple. Then the eye on top of the temple will disappear along with the temple itself. There is also another temple on the northeast side where you can find some loot.
Head Back To The Line Of People
Now that you have destroyed one of the eyes, head back to the line and follow it to the end. You will then see the area everyone wants to reach. There will be a barrier around the place, so you need some clues. You can get them by reading what is written on the pillars, and the one with an eye on top of it will give you a clue: a temple in the sea.
The temples are scattered throughout the area, so you will find them in many locations.
Head To The Slumbertree Forest – Solve The Second Temple
After reaching the Slumbertree Forest, open your map and head to the dollar sign you see to the north. That marks another temple. You can ignore all of the enemies along the way, so simply head to the dollar sign and enter the temple. Once inside, you will find yourself in a burning building.
How To Solve The Burning Building Maze
Talk to the Monkey Man and then head upstairs. The rest of this section is a maze, so proceed according to my directions. After defeating the monsters, go up the stairs to the right, then head north and go up the stairs again. Defeat the monsters again and then go down the stairs on the north side.
Defeat more monsters and then go up the middle left stairs. Interact with the trash can to get an item and then head up the stairs again. Go up the stairs on the left once more, and you will catch up with the Monkey Man.
After that, defeat the monster that causes all the fire, and the fire will disappear. You will then be teleported into the temple with an eye. Attack the enemies and then attack the eye again to clear this temple. You have now completed two temples.
Head To The Great Sandstorm – Solve The Third Temple
One of the pillars revealed that there is a temple in the sand. I explored the right side of the Great Sandstorm area, and while there was a temple there, it did not have an eye. So head to the left side, and the path at the bottom of the line will lead you to the temple.
Enter inside, and as expected, you will first be inside another building. Talk to the dad, head upstairs, pick up Tyler’s karate gear from the drawer, and then head back down. Ryan will be there now, so exit the building, and a cutscene will commence. After that, have a conversation with the Monkey Man, and following the conversation, you will be inside the temple.
Attack the eye immediately, and the temple will vanish. Now, only one temple remains, the one in the sea. It is time to head to the Sea of Dreams.
Head To The Sea Of Dreams – Solve The Fourth Temple
On the left side of the Sea of Dreams on the map, you will notice a dollar sign. You need to head there to find the last temple. Go there while ignoring the enemies along the way, and then enter the temple. Once inside, you will be in the hospital, so head left and enter the same room as before.
After a long conversation, some enemies will appear, so defeat them. After defeating the enemies and finishing the conversation, you will be teleported inside the temple. Hit the eye to clear it. Now, head back to the temple that was covered by a barrier.
Talk to the Monkey Man, and shortly after, the barrier will disappear. Enter the temple, head north, and Lilith will appear..
How To Defeat Lilith
Lilith is not going to be a difficult boss, as you will likely be much more powerful by this point. Start the fight by using the parry attack, which will also strike the opponent with a counter. This will remove a significant portion of her health, and you should continue to use your other abilities as the battle goes on.
Her attacks are quite slow, so you will have plenty of time to dodge them. However, you may notice several spider webs scattered around the area. Lilith can restore some of her health from these webs. Even so, do not stop attacking her while she is near them, and you will defeat her in no time.
If your DPS isn’t extremely high, then she will likely restore her health from all of those webs, but don’t worry, she isn’t that strong. However, beware of her AoE attacks. One can slow you down, while one can inflict fear and deal damage.
After defeating Lilith, you will receive several rewards, including a pretty solid weapon. Next, interact with the shiny object in the center of the room. This will complete the quest, Lilith. After that, head left and enter the room to the north. Talk to Ryan to conclude the Dream Warrior quest in Kingdom of Night, Chapter Four. Then, exit the hospital, and Chapter Four in the Kingdom of Night will be fully concluded.
The point of view will then shift back to Ophelia, and you will learn more about Samael. When that section ends, Stawberry will inform you that you have recovered the final Teraphim, as you have now defeated all of the demon lords.
