Kingdom of Night Walkthrough – Chapter Three

Kingdom of Night is an RPG title set in the 80s. The game is set in the small town of Miami, Arizona, where a satanic cult has summoned a fearsome creature. That creature is an ancient evil that has turned the whole town upside down. You, as the main protagonist, have to save the city. For more information regarding the game, head to its Steam page.

Now that you have defeated two of the main bosses, just two remain. You have already completed more than half of the game, so just a few more sections and you will be done. That said, finding the way to the next area may seem difficult, so in this guide, I will tell you exactly where to go in Kingdom of Night, Chapter Three.

Find The Snot-Nosed Kid

Before heading to the next area, go to the maze one more time to find the snot-nosed kid and get your hands on one of the best items in the game. From the maze, go down, left, right, up, right, up, and then the last right. There will be many bug monsters that have not hatched yet. Defeat the ones that do hatch and then talk to the snot-nosed kid.

After talking to him, you will complete a quest, so open the chest. Inside the chest, you will find two items: Ferocious Chain Mail and Chainmail Bracelet. Both are quite good, but the Chainmail Bracelet gives you +3 Muscle, +2 Guts, +93 HP, +2 percent Physical Defence, and +2 percent Resist Poison.

Head To Vista Del Plata

Now head to Charon and fast travel to Vista Del Plata. Then head south to reach the Old South Road. Head north to the middle side, and you will find a cave. Go inside the cave and then head south to defeat some monsters. Once you have defeated them, go right, follow the path ahead, and then take another right.

Explore The Cave

From there, head north, and you will find an unusual enemy. There will be a few mini gorillas sharing the same health. After you take a chunk of their health, they will merge into one big gorilla. Defeating this enemy will not be very difficult. Beat it and then head north. On the middle left side of the room, you will find a chest. Open it to get some items and then exit the place.

Charon’s Location Inside The Cave

Now head south, then right, and follow the path ahead. Keep following the path as it is, and eventually you will reach a foggy area. You will then face some mini gorillas again. Defeat the monster and then head left to activate the drawing on the ground. This will help you with activation.

South of there will be Charon. Now that you know where Chaorn is, head back north and then take a right. After that, head north through the second path. Then, head right, and the path, and when you reach a dead end, head right and then head north. Continue heading along the path while moving to the south (ignore the bat monsters).

Go Through The Open Gate

Once you reach a dead end, head right and then head south again. Keep following the path to the south, then take a right and head north. You will see an open steel gate there. Go through it, and you will be in Lo Street. To your right, next to the statue, there will be a handle. Interact with it, and you will need seven points in Muscle to break the handle free.

If you have seven Muscle, then feel free to choose the option, but if you do not, use any of your items to reach the threshold. Then head right and north.

Explore The Lo Street

Head north, and you will find a red car. Interact with it to trigger a quest, Joyride. Keep following the path ahead while ignoring the monsters, and you will reach the Hwy. 60. From there, head north, and you will find Goldie, and the quest Jaws of Life will be triggered.

Use Your Muscles To Save Goldie

Now you need 10 Muscle to push the car, which you should have by now. If not, then head back to Charon and fast travel to the tavern. Then go to the gramps, and he will reset your skill points. After saving Goldie, talk to her, and the quest will be concluded.

Then head left and go inside the RV. Interact with the i you see on the right side, and a new quest will be triggered. Then come out of the RV and look through the telescope. Now head to the east and follow the long path until you find an entrance to Charon.

Head Back To The Tavern For An Additional Accessory Slot

Inside the tavern, talk to Goldie, and you will receive an additional slot of accessory. After that, it is time to head to Miami High School.

Head To The Miami High School

Miami High School is situated on the far northwest side of the map. You can head there from Main Street. Once you arrive, open the door, as you got the key from defeating Pazuzu. Enter the school and clear the ground floor for some loot. Keep in mind that a high-level enemy will be present, so be on guard.

Explore The First Floor Of Miami High School

After clearing the ground floor, head up the stairs to the first floor from the far south side. The enemies on this floor are not very tanky, even though they are high-level. So, even a single attack is likely to defeat them.

Keep heading north, and you will reach the library. There is a chest on the northeast side that contains a Black Lace Hood. Then head north and go to the right. There, you will find a high-level monster that keeps summoning the monsters you faced on the first floor.

The monster will not do anything other than summon, so defeat it, but be careful, as the monsters it summons, while weak individually, deal extremely serious damage. Open the chest to get the Troll Battle Guard, and then exit the school.

How To Find The Graveyard

Now it is time to find the graveyard you saw through the telescope on Hwy. 60. From the road outside the school, head right, and you will enter W. Keystone Avenue. Continue heading right, then head north into the graveyard. You can interact with some of the coffins to collect items. You can get Phantasmal Blade from the first coffin, which is one of the best weapons you can find in Kingdom of Night, Chapter Three.

Solve The Riddle

You can also find Fred in the middle south side. Talk to him and send him to the tavern. Then head to the northeast side, and you will find an entrance to the underground. Go there and follow the path. In the north, you will encounter a puzzle. The riddle is well-designed, and the answer is Lock. Inside, you will fight a fairly strong opponent and receive a Magic Potion.

After that, head right and then exit to another graveyard. Explore it, then exit from the north and head east to enter the Mall Parking Lot. (To the west, you will find a chest.)

Explore The Mall Parking Lot

Just go a little ahead, and you will see a horde of zombies and Jimmy crying for help. He is on the top of the mall’s roof, so you now have to save him. Approach him to trigger a conversation. You do not need to go onto the roof; just get near him at the bottom, and the dialogue will start. If you have three Wits, you can select the dialogue option “You sound strange…”

Head To Chief Waffle

After that, head to the bottom right side of the area. You can find Chief Waffle there, who will help you. However, he will be in a little trouble, so attack the monster bothering him. Then talk to Waffle and head back to the mall.

Waffle will be right next to the horde of zombies, so talk to him again. After that, Waffle will turn on the siren of the police car, and the monsters will break through the door and start heading toward you. You will automatically leave the area, but immediately run back and defeat all of them to save Waffle. Talk to him again, and with this, the quest Dereliction of Duty will be concluded.

Head Inside The Mall To Save Jimmy

Head inside the mall, and it seems like it was not really Jimmy. It was someone else trying to lure you inside. Once you enter the mall, go through the door to your left and then head south. Enter the room and, after a long conversation with the others, talk to them and then to Jimmy. Ask him to let you see Truman, then head over and talk to him.

After talking to him, head back inside the room where everyone is. Then, because Jimmy removed the barricade, a zombie will come inside and hit Daniel. Defeat the monster and then talk to the others. After that, head south where Jimmy went. From there, continue heading south and follow the path.

Complete The Quests

Keep heading south while defeating the monsters, and then interact with the board to the left of Clair’s Cosmetics. This will complete the Lost in Paradise quest. Then head inside Clair’s Cosmetics to pick up Rubbing Alcohol. After that, exit and go back to the others. There will be many more monsters along the way now, so be careful.

Give the Rubbing Alcohol to Danielle to complete the DIY Disinfectant quest. Then talk to Truman again. Next, head south, take the first left, and enter the shop. At the counter to the north, you will find a technician’s duffel bag. Inside the bag are Electrician’s Tools, which you can use to open it.

After that, exit and head to the top-right area. Open your map to see the red signs on it. Head to the one at the northeast, and then open the padlock, though you will need seven Muscle. Inside the area, you will find the second-floor maintenance key. Now head to Clair’s Cosmetics again and enter the shop to its right.

Help Jimmy – Electric Fence Quest

For now, you cannot do anything to save Jimmy, so head back to Truman and talk to him. Give him the tools and tell him that Jimmy is trapped. After receiving the tools, he will make an Elevator Fuse. The panel is on the second floor, so you will have to search for it yourself.

Where To Find The Panel To Replace The Elevator Fuse

Open the map and head to the red sign at the top middle. Use the second-floor maintenance key there to access the second floor. You will be met by some monsters, so defeat them and insert the Elevator Fuse into the fusebox to the north.

After that, go back, and the door to your left will now be open. Before heading inside, talk to Truman again. Then, enter the door you just opened. There will be a monster to the right that you must not fight. It hits extremely hard and has no health bar. Once it aggros, it will start following you and is faster than you. To avoid it, enter a shop to break its aggro.

Save Jimmy

Head to the bottom right and enter Sebix. There will be many monsters inside, but you only need the item on the counter. Pick up the Brass Mall Stores Key, and then head into the Staff Only room. Go up the stairs, and the Electric Fence quest will be completed.

After your conversation with Jimmy, interact with the button to the right of the door to disable the electricity on the ground. Now return to the others, but they will not be in their usual spot. They will be in the Donut Shop, right next to where they were previously, so head there. After a series of conversations, talk to Truman to hear about his plan. Talk to him and select “Ready” to proceed.

Hear Truman’s Plan

Truman will then tell you about his plan, so after the conversation is over, head out and explore the area. You will find the people in different shops, so interact with them and then come back to the Donut shop. There, you will meet Christie, and she will give you the Arcade World Keys.

Head north from there and open the locked Arcade World shop on the left with the keys you just received. Head north again, and you will see a body. Christie will come inside and scream, which will cause Jimmy to rush in. You are now being blamed for what happened to Boyle, so the group has decided to send you downstairs, where the unkillable monster is.

However, Truman, being the only reasonable person there, wants to go with you since this punishment seems unfair to him.

Survive The Creature

Surviving the creature for now will not be hard. If the creature gets too close to you and starts chasing you, enter a store to break its aggro. Head south, and when you reach the bottom, go left and enter the Elo-Electro store where Truman is.

Talk to him, and he will give you the keys to the Women’s Bathroom. Leave the store, head right, and then go north. The Women’s Bathroom will be at the end. Use the keys you just received from Truman to enter. Inside the bathroom, you will witness something very disturbing, so head out and update Truman on the situation.

Complete The Brother Against Brother Quest

On the way, you will notice Jimmy running away from the Elo-Electro store, but it is not likely to be him. Enter the store, and Truman will no longer be with you. After that, head back to the elevator, which now seems to have malfunctioned. From there, go right and then south. Move a little further, and you will hear Daniel.

Keep heading south and then take a right. After that, enter Sebix and head to B and S from there. Then go north and follow the path to the right until you reach the Donut store. You will then hear Tina shouting for help. Head inside the elevator and you will now be on the roof.

Go over to Daniel, and Jimmy will come from behind and, as usual, will try to look cool in front of everyone. Then a twist will occur, the one behind everything will be revealed, and a boss fight will be triggered.

How To Defeat Cain

Cain also has a sword and is agile like you. However, he will not be that difficult, at least for now. Attack him with your sword and dodge away as soon as he is about to attack you. He will not just spam the attacks on you, so you will have a lot of time to attack him.

After depleting his health, a few Jimmy will appear. Defeat each one of them, as they will be defeated with just one hit. Once you defeat the last one, Cain will be back with full health. Attack him again, and after depleting his health, a few Jimmy will spawn again.

This time, the boss will use magic instead of the sword, and it is going to get a little rough. He will use some earth and lightning spells, and they will deal high damage. So make sure you are not in the radius of his spells, as they are all AoE attacks. After defeating this phase, a lot of white floating monsters will appear.

Ignore them and just try not to get hit by their attacks, and shortly after, Cain will appear again. He will be using magic again, and this time he will be rougher. Cain will spam magic attacks, and most of them are going to be AoE attacks.

After depleting his health, the same monsters will appear again, so ignore them and just dodge the attacks. Cain will be back shortly, and this time he will be using the sword again. He will attack more often now, so be careful. After depleting this health bar, you will get the rewards, and he will not come back again.

Talk To Daniel And Anabella

After you have defeated Cain, talk to Daniel and Anabella, and once the conversation is over, it is time to leave the mall. Enter the elevator, and you will get the Meanwhile… cutscene, meaning that Chapter Three in Kingdom of Night has been concluded. You will play briefly as Ophelia, and then you will return to the main character.
