Entering Art Academy

After you’ve beaten Arrowhead Alpha Sailfish, you can now visit the Art Academy. Continue moving through the art corridors, and defeat the robots behind artworks; don’t let the beautiful artwork deceive you.
Following the corridor into the next room, Shrieking Screech, a mini-boss, will appear.
Meeting Navigator and Unlocking Fast Travel

Once Shrieking Screech is defeated, follow the lower right path instead of climbing the ledge above. Talk to the Navigator, who will later lead you into the Arcadia for the first time.

Arcadia is the game’s main hub, where you can upgrade weapons and unlock new skills with additional Memocards that serve as charms.
Arcadia Tutorial

Further customization options in Arcadia are unlocked as you progress through the game and meet new characters in the story. To fast travel from one area to another, converse with the Navigator, who sits behind the counter at the bottom left.
For weapon upgrades and skills, Nito will be the guide. She can be found near the practice dummy to the right of Navigator’s counter.

Talk to her to access the upgrade menu; find the right items for weapon upgrades from boss fights and exploring all rooms.
The Rewind Station is inside Arcadia, a returning point from where you can replenish your Temporal Coils to unlock new rooms and boost Kotama’s morale.
What I struggled with in Arcadia was finding my way out. To exit, find the door between Nito and Navigator’s counters. Make sure to visit it regularly to see if a new character has opened up their shop!
Meeting Coco and Completing Her Request

As soon as you enter the Art Academy, you will be tasked with finding an Awakening Orb. Follow the objective on your map to find it and free Coco, to the right of Arcadia Station.
Coco gives a vote and requests that you free the two remaining girls using Awakening Orbs. The next Awakening Orb can be discovered immediately. You can check the map for its location.
Wall Jump Ability Location

To get the third weapon and progress the story, unlocking the Wall Jump ability is a must. To find it, go right from the Main Exhibition Hall and climb up the ledge; leave the bottom locked door for the time being.
Follow the path as you defeat the small enemies, and drop down the ledge to enter the next room. Continue through the right corridor to find a tricky climbing sequence.
There’s a secret room after the aggravating sequence; you don’t want to miss it.

Right before the ability, another staggering boss fight awaits you. Beat the boss, and explore the left room to unlock the Wall Jump finally.
Finding a Secret Collectable

In the Boss’s room, climb up the wall using the recently discovered ability to find a painting, crucial for trophy/achievement hunting.
Unlocking Whip Hammer

With the Wall Jump ability discovered, you’re now eligible to find the second weapon: Whip Hammer. Return to the Exhibition Hall and climb the ledge to the right. Purple flowers indicate the jumpable walls.
Enter the room and keep climbing the walls until you reach a room with a high ceiling. Defeat the Piano and Sculpture enemies.
To climb further, use the Sculpture enemy as a platform, and jump on it to reach the purple flower wall.

Use the spike platforms to reach the room to your right. Move left and on the tricky platform with a room covered entirely by spikes, climb on the third platform and double jump, glide away to the right to find a secret ledge and a room.
To reach the weapon faster, go left and jump on the purple flowers to find a dark orb; use it to teleport away instantly. Immediately, you will find another dark orb. Again, use it to spawn yourself outside the weapon’s room.

However, before you can unlock the Whip Hammer, a strong foe awaits you. Beat the boss, and grab the ledge to your right to find the weapon from the statue.
Chronopetal Location

Chronopetal is an important item that you can use to increase Kotama’s maximum Chronoshells.
Visit the left room to find (check the map above!) a Celeste-esque platforming sequence; you can use the dark orb to skip it entirely. The first Chronopetal can be found after the gruelling sequence.
Secret Arena, Chronoshell and Temporal Coil Upgrade

Surprisingly, there’s a secret arena in the game that challenges every inch of your strength. For the secret arena, return to the Main Exhibition Hall and climb to the upper-left ledge.
Follow the path and use your Whip Hammer’s heavy attack to smash the purple lock below; use it from a height by double jumping.

Drop down into the room and turn left to find the arena. Battle your way through four staggering enemy waves to find the Chronoshell upgrade.
Lastly, to upgrade the maximum capacity of your Temporal Coils, turn right and drop down into the room. Break the kiosk to get it, and use the right button to unlock a shortcut to Arcadia.

Art Academy Map Location
Unlocking the entire map is crucial. For the Art Academy Map, grab the upper-left ledge from the Main Exhibition Hall again, and keep moving left; ignore the floor you broke.

Use the Sculptor enemies to gain height and wall jump your way above. From the top, turn left and complete the jumping sequence to find the map. With this, the entire layout of the Art Academy can be viewed.
Final Awakening Orb

The main objective in the Art Academy is to find the third and final Awakening Orb. Follow the objective’s mark on your map to find it.

Freeing Yiyi and Unlocking Lower Floors
With the final Awakening Orb in your hands, return to the Main Exhibition Hall and use it to free the final captive, Yiyi, to receive extra votes and unlock the final floors of the academy.

Dreamweaver Klara Fight

Instead of dropping into the lowest academy floors, move right from the recently unlocked floor to find the Dreamweaver Klara. Prepare yourself for the main boss of the Art Academy.
Exploring Remaining Rooms
As you’ve finally discovered every major item and beaten the leader of Art Academy, Kotama is now free to explore the entire Art Academy at her own pace.
Similar to the Central District, numerous rooms can’t be explored for the moment and should be visited after clearing the next area.
