Life Is Strange: Reunion – Complete Walkthrough (Part 1)

Life is Strange: Reunion is a choice-based adventure game that concludes Max and Chloe’s saga, which began with the original Life is Strange. You play as both Max and Chloe in this game, and you have three days until a deadly inferno destroys Caledon University. For more information, head over to the game’s Steam page.

As this is a choice-based game, your choices matter a lot. Not knowing what to do and which choice will take you to the best outcome can be quite confusing. Here’s the Into Indie Games walkthrough for Life is Strange: Reunion.

Shake It Off

Once the cutscene ends and the present-day Chloe appears, you will be given some choices to select from. You can either negotiate, lie, or threaten. The best course of action here, in my opinion, is to negotiate. After that, you will get a new objective.

Simply move ahead, and you will find a gun in the snow. Keep following the path ahead, and eventually a cutscene will begin. When the cutscene is over, you will receive another new objective.

Take A Photo Of The Sunset

You now have to find a camera to take a photo of the sunset. This camera can be found in the trunk of the car.

There will be a bunch of items inside the trunk, and the camera is beneath them. As you clean the mess, you will get access to the journal. After you are done checking that out, take the camera and use it.

Zoom in a little and take a photo of the sunset. Following that, a cutscene will begin and you will get another new objective.

Help

As you reach the crime scene, you will get an objective to help. Just ahead, there is graffiti that you can examine. Approach the area, and a cutscene will begin.

This is a short cutscene featuring a small conversation, so when it is over, head up the stairs, and you will see a sign that says Stop The Lies. Then another cutscene will begin, featuring some students asking for help.

You have to help them now. So go ahead, and on the second bench on the right side, you will find an item known as Fire Material. This indicates that someone is setting the fire inside the university on purpose.

From there, follow the path to the right. As you go, another cutscene will start, and you will find yourself in another place again.

Meet Moses For Hot Chocolate

As you leave the area, Max will get an objective to meet Moses for hot chocolate, so you now need to find his office. Head straight and go to the instructor offices section. Then head left, where you’ll find 112A, which is Moses’s office. Enter the room, and a cutscene will begin.

During the conversation, you will get multiple options to choose from. You can select any of the options at first, and the conversation will continue. Later on, you will get more choices while talking to Moses. It is better to select the safer option, which is what I went with. After that, you will get more choices again.

I chose “You” instead of “the students,” and then he asks if you tried to rewind time. There will be two options, and I went with “I did not know if I should.”

When this conversation is over, you will have to practice rewind.

Practice Rewind

After the cutscene ends, there are a few items and notes inside the office that you can interact with. Interact with everything you can to learn more about certain things.

Then head back to Moses and talk to him. When you are done, you will get an objective to learn who killed the swordmaster.

Learn Who Killed The Swordmaster – Test Number 1

You now have to learn who killed the swordmaster, and the answer can be found in this office. You can rewind or undo Max’s last action by pressing L1 or LB. The figurine you are looking for is on the upper floor, so head up the stairs and inspect the schoolgirl figurine.

The name of the schoolgirl will be written at the bottom of the figurine, so read it and then head back to Moses. Before talking to him, rewind time. After he asks you who killed the swordmaster Frostbite in No True Samurai, you will get options depending on the figurines you interacted with.

The correct answer is Mina Hiramatsu. After giving the right answer, he will give you another test. This time, you need to hand him whatever is locked in the cabinet.

Get Moses What Is Locked In The Cabinet – Test Number 2

Head to the cabinet, and upon looking at it, you will see a pop-up indicating Test Number 2. Examine it, and then you will have to figure out how to unlock it.

This can be done by simply picking up the screwdriver from the countertop. As you open the cabinet, a mug will fall out and break.

So, now, rewind the time (you can perform a fast rewind by pressing L2 + R2 together). Once you have done this, facing away from the cabinet, head right and then go right again. There will be a cushion on the chair which you need to prevent the mug from being broken.

So, pick up the cushion and then perform the same task again. Then, head back to Moses, and he will ask you to unbust the door. That can only be possible by rewinding time. So, auto rewind time two times and talk to Moses again. After that, Test Number 2 will be over. Time for the final one.

Stand On The X – Test Number 3

As you stand on the X, a cutscene will commence, and it will show the kettle catching fire. You have to save Moses by rewinding time and then running to unplug the kettle, as he will not do that himself.

Then, you will get an objective to debrief with Moses.

Debrief With Moses

To debrief with him, simply start the conversation. As you are talking to him, you will get to choose between two options. I went with “the school is not a mug”, and then later, more options will appear. You can select these one by one, so it does not matter which one you choose.

Once the conversation is over, you will be talking to some students, and as you are speaking with them, some dialogue options will appear. You will need to choose between three of them. I went with Reggie, and the conversation will then lead Max to talk to a stranger to take her picture.

She will ask why she was selected for this demonstration, and you will get two options to choose from. I went with “You look intriguing” because the second one may sound rude. When you have taken a picture of her, choose the “I never got your name” dialogue option, and then you will need to learn about the fire.
