Basic tips
- The girl is named Abi, and the boy is named Ben.
- The objective of each level is to reunite both Abi and Ben at the Bird Ring.
- There are three feathers in each level that you can optionally collect as extras. You can unlock concept art with these.
- Most levels have an achievement associated with them that you get for completing the level in a particular way, or performing a particular action.
- The solutions in this guide are written so as to complete the levels with all feathers and the achievement condition.
Zone 1, Level 1
Achievement Condition: None
As Ben, run to the right, collecting Feather 1. Jump over the obstacle and you’ll get to the Bird Ring as Ben.
As Abi, run right until you collect Feather 2 and reach the blocked portal. Switch to blueprint mode.
Shuffle the areas Down, and exit blueprint mode. As Abi, continue right and collect Feather 3, then drop down to join Ben.
Zone 1, Level 2
Achievement Condition: None
As Abi, run right to collect Feather 1 and continue right, up the slope and down to the Bird Ring. Collect Feather 2 while you’re here. Go to the Bird Ring.
As Ben, collect Feather 3 and go as far right as possible, then switch to blueprint mode. Shuffle the areas Up, Right, Down.
Then, as Ben, move right past the green portal (as seen on the blueprint). Shuffle the areas Up, Left, Down.
As Ben, continue running right and join Abi at the Bird Ring.
Zone 1, Level 3
Achievement Condition: Complete the level with Abi leading the way. (Abi must arrive at the Bird Ring before Ben)
As Ben, move the block closer to the obstacle. Jump on the block and then over the obstacle to the right.
Continue into the next area to join Abi. Climb up the rope and grab Feather 1 by jumping opposite the rope.
Shuffle the areas Right, Down, Left, Up, so that the red portals are connected.
As either of the twins, collect Feather 2 and Feather 3 and go to the Bird Ring. Remember to have Abi reach the ring first to get the achievement. If Ben reaches there first, have been step away from the ring temporarily while Abi takes over.
Zone 1, Level 4
Achievement Condition: Zoom out only 4 times.
Be careful in this one, as you can only zoom out 4 times if you want the achievement.
In blueprint mode, shuffle the areas Left. (Zoom Count: 1)
This will cause Ben to drop to a ledge with Feather 1 on it. Drop down from the ledge.
In blueprint mode, shuffle the areas Down. (Zoom Count: 2)
As Abi, run right and climb up the rope. Jump left to get Feather 2.
In blueprint mode, shuffle the areas Up. (Zoom Count: 3)
As Abi, drop down to the floor and then run left, jumping as high as you can before dropping through the red portal.
You should land up on the ‘II’ symbol and collect Feather 3.
In blueprint mode, shuffle the areas Right and then Down. (Zoom Count: 4)
As Abi and Ben, run to the bird ring (the red portal will be closed, making it an icy floor).
Zone 1, Level 5
Achievement Condition: Collect all feathers as Abi.
In blueprint mode, shuffle the areas Right. Then, as Ben, run all the way left and move the block onto the red portal.
In blueprint mode, shuffle the areas Left. This will cause Ben (and the block) to fall.
Once Ben is on the floor, shuffle the areas Right, Down, Left, Up.
As Abi, run to where Ben is, and push the block to the far left, so that she can climb up onto the stairs.
Once Abi is on the stairs, shuffle the areas Down, Right, Up.
As Abi, go up the stairs and collect Feather 1, then jump left to collect Feather 2 mid-air.
When you land on the blocked portal, go right of the portal, but not through the green portal.
Shuffle the areas left left and as Abi, jump to the left, dropping through the red portal so that you catch Feather 3 mid-air.
This is a tough jump, so you may need multiple tries to get it right.
With all 3 feathers collected as Abi, shuffle the areas Right, Down, Left, Up.
As Abi and Ben, go left, jump onto the block and then up onto the stairs.
Shuffle the areas Down, Right, Up, Left, Down. This opens the green portal on top of the stairs directly into the Bird Ring.
Get both Ben and Abi to reach the ring to complete the level.
Zone 1, Level 6
Achievement Condition: Move Abi only twice.
As Ben, go left and push the block onto the blue button. Jump onto the block and jump up to collect Feather 1.
Run right past the red portal and climb up the rope, then jump off the rope to collect Feather 2 mid-air.
Shuffle the areas Right, and as Ben, go all the way down to the lower floor and drop through the blue portal.
Climb up the rope and collect Feather 3 mid-air. Drop down and stand near the yellow barrier.
Shuffle the areas Left, Down, Right, Up.
As Abi, run left to stand on the yellow button. As Ben, run right all the way to the Bird Ring. Then as Abi again, run right to the Bird Ring to conclude the level with all three feathers and Abi having moved only twice.
Zone 1, Level 7
Achievement Condition: Collect all feathers as Abi.
As Abi, step on the yellow button and as Ben, stand on the ruins of the barrier. Then as Abi, step away from the button to raise Ben on top of the barrier.
Shuffle the areas Right, Down, Left, Up, so that the blue portal is open.
Once again as Abi, step on the yellow button. As Ben, run left past the disabled barrier.
As Ben, stand on the blue button.
Now shuffle the areas Down, Right, Up, Left, so that the red portal on the ground near Abi is open.
As Abi, drop down the red portal to land on a closed red portal at the bottom.
Shuffle the areas Right, Down, Left, Up, Right, so that the red portal below Abi is open.
Pick up Feather 1 as Abi and shuffle the areas Left, Down, Right, Up, Left. This is the previous configuration.
As Abi, drop down the red portal at the bottom of the area piece, and jump onto the rope to the right.
Climb up and stand by the green portal. Then, shuffle the areas Down.
As Abi, run right, but don’t go to the Bird Ring just yet, as we’re collecting feathers.
Shuffle the areas Up, and run left to collect Feather 2 as Abi.
Run right again, stopping just before the rope.
As Ben, climb up the rope to where Abi is. Shuffle the areas Down and have Ben drop down to the closed red portal.
Then, shuffle the areas Right, Up, Left, Down, Right. This should open the portal below Ben.
As Ben, drop down and approach the blue barrier. Meanwhile as Abi, drop down to the Bird Ring level and step on the blue button.
As Ben, step on the yellow button past the blue barrier.
Shuffle the areas Up so that the blue portal is open. As Abi, jump up to the right and pass through the blue portal to get Feather 3.
As Abi, stand on the ruins of the yellow barrier and as Ben, step away from the button, so that Abi is raised above the barrier.
As Abi, run left and have Ben stand on the button again so that Abi can pass through to the left and stand on the blue button.
Shuffle the areas Down, Left, Up, Right, Down, Left.
As Ben, go left and drop down the red portal, then climb the rope.
Then, have Ben run right, and Abi left, to the Bird Ring. This completes the level with Abi having collected all three feathers.
Zone 1, Level 8
Achievement Condition: Drop a box on a head.
Shuffle the areas Right, Down, Left, Up.
As Ben, run right and push the boulder left, so that it comes to rest on the blue button. Drop down to the lower level, but make sure you’re near the box, to the left of the closed blue portal.
Shuffle the areas Down, Right.
As Abi, stand in the middle of the small patch of light to the left of the broken door and carpet.
As Ben, drop the box. If you positioned it right, the box should fall on Abi’s head, netting you the achievement.
Now as Abi, push the box to the right and stand on it, then jump onto the rope above.
Climb up and take a running jump left to grab Feather 1.
Shuffle the areas Left, Up.
As Abi, push the box to the far left, into Ben’s area and collect Feather 2 by jumping up from the box.
Once again, push the box right to leave it under the rope, and climb up the rope as Abi.
As Ben, also run to the box and climb up the rope to join Abi on the upper level.
Shuffle the areas Down, Right, Up, Left, Down.
Move both Ben and Abi right, but be careful not to drop down the ledge.
Shuffle the areas Up.
As either character, run left and jump off the ledge to collect Feather 3 and end up at the Bird Ring.
If you missed the feather, try again without the other twin joining you (to prevent accidentally completing the level).
Finally, have both twins go to the Bird Ring to complete the level.
Zone 1, Level 9
Achievement Condition: Complete the level without placing a boulder on a button.
Shuffle the areas Down, Right, Up, Left, Down.
As Ben, jump left over the broken wall to land up by the boulder. Push the boulder up the slope and off the ledge, so that it smashes the glass dome.
Drop down from the ledge and go left to collect Feather 1. Continuing as Ben, push the boulder on to the closed pink portal and stand on the portal yourself.
As Abi, stand on the blue button.
Shuffle the areas Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, so that the pink portal is open, causing Ben and the boulder to drop into Abi’s area.
As Ben, run left, past the boulder, and climb up the rope to the left. Collect Feather 2 by jumping.
As Ben, push the boulder right, stopping it just before the blue button. (If Abi is standing on the button, you can prevent the boulder from accidentally being placed on the button).
As Ben, jump on the boulder and make the jump to the rope on the right. Climb up to the upper level.
Shuffle the areas Up, Left, Down to open the blue portal. As Ben, collect Feather 3.
Go back left and jump down. Run past Abi and jump past the boulder, then climb up the rope to stand by the closed red portal.
Now as Abi, VERY CAREFULLY jump on the boulder and off it to catch the rope to the right.
Climb up the rope and stand by the closed blue portal. Shuffle the areas Up, Right, Down.
As Abi, go right and drop down the ledge. Stand at the far right of the lower level.
Shuffle the areas Up, Right. Now as Abi, make a very tricky jump through the pink portal to land on the top of, or past, the blue barrier.
Climb up the rope and join Ben by the closed red portal.
Shuffle the areas Down and move both twins left to reach the Bird Ring without having placed a boulder on a button.
Zone 1, Level 10
Achievement condition: Complete the level with 15 shuffle moves.
BE VERY CAREFUL IN THIS LEVEL if you’re going for the achievement. Even a single extra shuffle will mean you have to start over.
Shuffle the areas Right, Down. (Shuffle Count: 2)
As Ben, run right past the green portal, and collect Feather 1. Then, return to the boulder.
Shuffle the areas Up. (Shuffle Count: 3)
As Ben, move the boulder right through the green portal, but not off the ledge.
Shuffle the areas Left, Down. (Shuffle Count: 5)
As Ben, move the boulder left through the green portal and collect Feather 2.
Shuffle the areas Right, Up. (Shuffle Count: 7)
As Ben, push the boulder right, down the ledge, then left through the middle-level green portal.
Shuffle the areas Down. (Shuffle Count: 8)
As Ben, push the boulder right through the green portal, but not off the ledge.
Shuffle the areas Left, Up. (Shuffle Count: 10)
Again, push the boulder left through the green portal, but not off the ledge.
Shuffle the areas Right, Down. (Shuffle Count: 12)
Push the boulder right, onto the red button, which lowers the Bird Ring platform.
As Ben, go left through the green portal, but don’t drop off the ledge.
Shuffle the areas Up. (Shuffle Count: 13)
Run right and climb up the rope, then push the boulder down to the lower level. Then, push the boulder right onto the red portal.
Shuffle the areas Down, Left. (Shuffle Count: 15)
Continuing as Ben, push the boulder to the left, through the hole in the wall, down to the lowermost floor. DON’T FALL WITH THE BOULDER. As Ben, jump carefully AFTER the boulder, so that you can collect Feather 3.
Push the boulder to the far right, over to where Abi is.
As Abi, push the boulder right, onto the first red button. Then, run right and stand on the second red button.
As Ben, run right and jump off the boulder-on-the-button to land on the Bird Ring platform. Push the boulder to the right, off the platform and towards Abi. Then, hop off the platform to the left.
As Abi, jump on the boulder and then push it onto the second red button.
Then, make sure Ben and Abi are both on other sides of the left and right boulders (this is to ensure the platform gets lowered as much as possible).
Finally, have Ben and Abi jump off the boulders and onto the platform to reunite at the Bird Ring.
This completes the level with all three feathers, AND only 15 shuffles.
Zone 1, Level 11
Achievement Condition: Drop a boulder on a box exactly once.
Shuffle the areas Right.
As Ben, run right and drop down the pink portal to land on the glass dome. Continue right, so that you reach the box by the green portal.
Shuffle the areas Left, Down, Right Up, opening the green portal.
As Ben, push the box down the green portal, and drop down yourself.
Shuffle the areas Down, Left, Up, opening the red portal near Ben.
Push the box left, off the ledge, and under the feather. Jump on the box and grab Feather 1.
Push the box near the edge of the ledge, but don’t let it fall. Jump on the boulder and then onto the platform to the left.
Step on the blue button as Ben.
Now shuffle the areas Right, Down. As Abi, run left and step on the closed blue portal.
Shuffle the areas Up, Left, Down, Right, so that the blue portal opens up and Abi drops down.
Shuffle the areas Left, Up. As Abi, run left, but don’t drop off the uppermost ledge.
Shuffle the areas Right, Down.
As Abi, run right to collect Feather 2.
Here, VERY CAREFULLY drop down holding left, so that you land on the middle ledge. Do not pass through the red portal.
Shuffle the areas Left, Up, and grab Feather 3. Then, return to your previous position on the right edge of the ledge.
Shuffle Down, and as Abi, move left into the dead end area.
Shuffle Right, Up, and as Abi, stand on the yellow button past the ruins of the blue barrier.
As Ben, jump off the railing of the high ledge and onto the middle level, where the box is. Push the box down to the blue portal and drop down yourself.
Shuffle the areas Left, Down, Right, so that Ben and the box fall through the blue portal.
Now push the box to the left, so that it’s roughly below the left edge of the blue portal.
Shuffle the areas Left, Up. As Ben, run right and off the ledge to the lowermost level. Stand by the right-hand-side red portal.
Shuffle the areas Right, Down, Left, Up, so that the red portal is opened up. Run right and push the boulder to the right, past the yellow barrier’s ruins.
Shuffle the areas Right, Down, Left, Up, Right, opening up the green and blue portals both.
Now carefully push the boulder down the blue portal, so that it lands on the box, giving you your achievement.
Push the boulder further right, off to the lower floor, and have it sit on the closed pink portal.
Shuffle the areas Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, so that the pink portal is opened up. Allow the boulder to fall through and smash the glass dome.
As Ben, drop down to the Bird Ring.
As Abi, drop down the ledge, then the pink portal, and join Ben at the Bird Ring to complete the level.
