Path To Voltar City

To get to Voltar City, you’ll have to head to Area 17 first. You can get there by exiting Arsilia from its northern exit.

On Area 17, there’s a fan here that you’ll have to spin using the Aura affinity Holoken. You’ll then arrive in Area 18.

Area 18 has two parts. There are the elevated platforms and the ground level. When you reach the area, you’ll find a Lumen Camp here.

One of the Lumens is to the left of the camp. However, the second Lumen is on the ground level. Right now, if you get to the ground level, there’s no way for you to get back on the elevated platforms.

Jump down from the cliff to the south of the Lumen Camp. You’ll find the second Lumen on the ground. Fight against them and keep going south.

Here, you can open the map and teleport to Arsilia city, and then go through Area 17 to reach the Lumen Camp, where you’ll find the captain, or you can just keep going south from there towards Voltar City. You will later unlock the abilities that will let you teleport between both levels easily.

As you go south in Area 18, you’ll find that the path is blocked by some energy rays. You can just circle around it to reach Area 21. Take the bridge in Area 21 to reach Voltar City.

Voltar, The City Of Entertainment

As Trey and his friends arrive in Voltar, they’ll immediately notice the big Ferris wheel. There’s also a Lumen named Nanai who’s keeping an eye on Trey.

If you head into the Lumen Club inside Voltar, the receptionist will tell you that the matches are currently suspended due to the ongoing Popularity Tournament. You’ll just have to head to the Ferris wheel for now.

Take the cart ride on the right of the Lumen Club, and it will take you to the upper floors, where you’ll find a path heading to the Ferris wheel.

As Trey gets out of the Ferris wheel after the ride, Nanai will pop up and challenge him immediately. After the battle, Nanai will challenge Trey for an official duel in the Popularity Tournament.

The Popularity Tournament

Return to the Lumen Club. Talk to the receptionist to register for the Popularity Tournament. She’ll tell you to head to the room at the top of the generator whenever you’re ready.

This room is the top-most building in the city, so you’ll have to climb some stairs to get to it. Once you’re inside, talk to the receptionist.

After a short conversation, Trey will have to head to the stage to do Lumen battles. After the first battle is over, Trey will automatically exit the stage room and will have a conversation with Nanai.

Enter the stage room against for the second battle. For the third battle, you’ll have to face Nanai himself.

However, just as the duo gets on the stage, the generator will shut down. It appears that a shady man and a strange Animon are eating power from the generator. If nothing is done, it will turn into a massive catastrophe.

The Generator

To get to the generator, you’ll have to use the cart stationed next to the Lumen Club. However, to get to that, you’ll have to play several mini-games.

The path to the bottom is blocked by energy rays. You have to play the nearby mini-game to disable these rays and open the path ahead. You don’t have to do extremely well in the games themselves, just play them, and the path will open up.

Ride on the cart to get to the generator area. Here, you’ll have to keep going until you reach the deepest part of the area. You’ll find the shady man and the Animon here.

This is the same shady man who escaped from Arisilia. Nada builds a barrier around the generator, while Ales tries to stabilize it. Trey will have to fight the Animon called Blumester by himself.

Blumester

Blumester is weak to Toxic and resistant to Fire and Ground-type attacks, among other things. It is level 26 with 4 health bars.

After you’ve taken out at least half of its HP, Blumester will start using the Diamond Spike skill, which is an insta-kill against most Animon, even if they’re a few levels above Blumester without a type advantage.

But, regardless, if you’ve got a Toxic-type Animon in your party, you’ll be able to take Blumester down easily. Once the boss has been defeated, Nanai will appear to deal the finishing blow.

Defeating Blumester also gives Trey the ability to infuse the Holoken with Electric power, which can be used to turn certain switches on and off.

The calamity has lifted, and the authorities have arrested the shady man. Nanai feels guilty for stealing your spotlight, but at least no one got hurt, and Trey’s party returns to the Lumen Club.

Lumen Match

Stay the night at the Lumen Club. Nanai will show up the next day to tell you to register for the Lumen Match.

After registration, you’ll have to go to the same building at the top of the generator to fight the Lumen Match.

Here, you’ll have to face three Lumens before Anne shows up for the final. If your team is at least level 27 each, you’ll be able to come out victorious easily.

Ales then suggests heading to Paladine, which is to the north of Voltar. That’s where we’ll be heading next.
