Welcome to the third part of Into Indie Games’ walkthrough for Lumina Veil.
From the start, it didn’t feel like a normal game. But now, as the line between reality and the game world blurs, things are about to get weirder for LunattiCreeps.

Returning to the Game

The chapter begins immediately after Lunatti turns off the stream. You’ll get a text from ChromaDev within a few seconds. Go through the text.

When ChromaDev stops responding to your text. Leave the apartment through the main door. As you open the door, you’ll see the familiar red light outside. This doesn’t look good.

Head outside and continue forward. Start sprinting when you hear the sounds of the monsters. Don’t look behind. Just keep running.

After a bit of running, you’ll be back at your apartment. Open the door. No red light this time. So it’s safe to walk out.

Head down the stairs. Your objective right now is to go to the store.

The streets are relatively empty. Just follow the road. You’ll get another text on your phone.
The store is at the end of the road. The door is open, so you can just head inside.

You’ll have to do some shopping now. Get all the items you need for your dinner from the different shelves.

Use the self-checkout counter to pay for the food.

Make your way back to the apartment. You’ll get a text from ChromaDev along the way.

Enter the last apartment on the top floor to transition to the next evening.

Lunatti will start preparing for the stream. When everything is ready, jump into the game.
The Logistics Entrance

You’ll start at the passage where you left off in the previous chapter. Go straight to the shutter up ahead and interact with it to head to the next zone.

Continue along the passage until you see some wires on the ground. There’s a room on your right. Head in.

Turn left into the next room. Pick up the UV Lights Notice document from the chair. It warns about something called the Entity 8 and about its aversion to UV lights. This is important information for you.

Enter the next room that’s lit up with the purple UV light and interact with the lever.

Return to the entrance, and the gate barring your path to the door will now be open. Head toward the door.

You’ll hear some loud bangs coming from the other side of the door. Wait a moment, and the masked person from before will show up. The wall to your right will disappear, revealing a new path for you.

This takes you to a dark, big hole in the floor. Drop through the hole.

Use your Flashlight to light up the area and make your way through the flooded chamber.

You’ll reach a blue door past a narrow corridor. Head through the door to enter Logistics.

Continue forward and pick up the Guns Don’t Work document from the shelf. It says you can’t kill Entity 8, and running away is your only option.

There’s a wooden door nearby that takes you to the Director’s Office. Save your progress and exit the office to move on.
Entity 8 – First Encounter

After exiting the Director’s Office, head through the door straight ahead of you.

Go down the stairs and continue along the passage. There’s a note up ahead that says, “It can’t enter UV light.”

You’ll see another UV light room straight ahead. Sprint toward it.

The Entity 8 will teleport nearby. If it gets close, it’ll attack you. But you can outrun it easily as long as you don’t stop. You can’t hit it, so don’t waste your ammo.

After reaching the UV light, look around for a red wire on the ground. Follow the red wire to the next UV light area.

Pick up the Health Drink from a nearby crate. Then run for the door at the far end of the room.

Keep running till you reach the next UV light section.

There’s an open hatch nearby with a ladder heading down. Interact with it to enter the Service Tunnel.

The door at the bottom of the ladder is locked. But there’s an opening in the fence that lets you get into the tunnel.

You’ll see a shiny item on the small platform up ahead. Quickly sprint to it and pick it up to collect the Keycard. Run back before the Entity 8 can attack you.

Go back up the ladder to return to Logistics. Then proceed further through the area to reach the next UV light section. We’re making our way to the Security Checkpoint.

Luckily, the gate is pretty close. Go up the steps and use the Keycard at the door to enter the Security Checkpoint.
The Security Checkpoint

After entering the zone, keep following the red wire on the ground.

Suddenly, you’ll see the video game character get impaled by some large spears.

The stream goes offline at this point. Get off the PC and go to the main door. You’ll catch a glimpse of the Entity 8 near the door.

Wait a while for the stream to come back online. Return to the game, but be ready for a jumpscare.

Lunatti falls over and sees someone’s shoes walking in.

When you can move again, read the note on the table. Then return to your PC to get back to the game.

You’ll be back at the entrance of the Security Checkpoint. Follow the red wire on the ground while evading Entity 8.

When you get to the checkpoint room, pick up the Personal Field Log document from the exterior room before heading in.

There’s a Portable UV Light document on the table that tells you how to craft it and where you can find the materials for it. You’ll also be able to pick up an upgrade for your Speargun on the nearby table.
Go through the wooden door nearby to enter the Director’s Office, where you can save your progress.

Our next task, as stated in the document, is to get the Battery from the Storage and the Amplifier from the Maintenance area to create the Portable UV Light. You can do this in any order you like. Both of them can be reached from the Security Checkpoint.
Finding the Amplifier in Maintenance

Head through the gate marked Maintenance from the Security Checkpoint. You’ll reach a dark, empty room. There’s a UV light hanging on a line above a lever.

Interacting with the lever causes the UV light to move forward along the line. Stay under the UV light as it moves forward. It’ll guide you to another lever.

Do the same from the next lever and follow the UV light to the next safe area. As you’re moving, you’ll get a Superchat message from the only spectator named Mia.

The second UV light will guide you to a door. At this point, you’ll also learn that Mia, the person who’s chatting with you, is the character that you’re playing in the video game. Head through the door up ahead to enter the Maintenance.

Run forward to the center of the room after reaching the zone. There’s a UV light zone up ahead that’ll keep you safe from Entity 8.
You’ll spot three paths as marked on the image above. There’s also an orange cabinet that’s stuck on the left.

Take the left path first. Turn left up the passage to spot an enemy facing away from you. You can take it down with a surprise attack.

Follow the path past the monster after taking it down. You’ll reach another area with multiple paths.

Go left. There will be a monster attacking you from the right that you’ll have to fight.

Enter the corridor where the monster came from to find another wooden door. This takes you to the Empty Office, where you can save your progress.

Exit the Empty Office and take the stairs to reach the lower floor.

You’ll spot a series of computers. Note the colors behind each screen. We need to find the right code to unlock the door.

Return upstairs and head through the barred section straight ahead.

Pick up the Lubricant Oil from the table at the end.

Then return to the corridor where you attacked the monster from behind. The path on the right leads to the first room of the Maintenance. Follow the corridor straight ahead first.

You’ll spot two numbers painted on the ground. Note the numbers and the colors (1 Green and 8 Blue). You’ll have to be fast since the Entity 8 can teleport here.

Go back to the first room of the Maintenance and use the Lubricant Oil to open the orange cabinet. Open the cabinet to spot two more numbers in different colors (3 White and 7 Red).

Go back to the four screens downstairs and enter the code in the screens (1 Green, 8 Blue, 3 White, and 7 Red). Then head through the nearby double doors.

The next part is pretty straightforward. You’ll arrive at a large, empty, and dark chamber. There’s a lever nearby that moves the UV Light above you.

Interact with the lever and keep following the light. There will be some monsters along the way. Dodge around them until you reach the next safe point. If you step away from the light, the Entity 8 will also attack you.

Keep moving from one point to the next. You’ll even encounter a new type of monster in this area. But you don’t have to fight this one, as it’s pretty slow.

Eventually, you’ll reach a set of stairs leading into a room.

Go up the stairs to find the Amplifier for the Portable UV Light. Pick it up and then drop through the opening at the other end of the room.

Use the lever nearby to guide you across the next area, and you’ll reach the door that takes you back to the first room of Maintenance.

From here, go back to the entrance and head through the door upstairs.

In the hallway, interact with the lever, then run forward along the steel walkway to meet the UV light as it moves toward you.

Use the moving UV lights to make your way back to the Security Checkpoint afterward. Our next goal is to get the Battery from the Storage.
Finding the Battery in the Storage

As you go across the steel walkway, you’ll spot a ladder heading down. This takes you to the Unknown Facility.

After dropping down the ladder, drop down again to the area below. You can just jump off the platform.

Follow the red wire forward. There’s a UV light zone up ahead. But be careful of the monster lurking on the right up ahead.

You’ll spot a lever. Interacting with it turns on the Light Timer. Unlike Maintenance, where you had to follow a UV light, in Storage, you have to interact with levers to keep the UV lights turned on. They’ll go out after a while, but you can use the lever to reset the timer. Quickly run to the lever up ahead after turning on the Light Timer.

Keep following the red wire while turning on each lever to activate the UV lights. You’ll also have to fight some monsters off as you reach different sections of the zone.

You’ll reach a small storage room where you’ll find the Teleportation Theory document. From here, you’ll have to follow the yellow wire on the ground.

This will lead you to a door. There’s a cart just before the door where you’ll find the Storage Keycard. Use the Storage Keycard at the door to unlock it and head inside.

You’ve arrived at the Storage Hallway. Continue forward and turn right along the corridor.

The corridor gets blocked by one of those giant entities you’ve seen in Maintenance. Take it down. Exploding Bolts can make short work of these monsters.

Once it’s down, go along the corridor, and you’ll spot an open doorway on your left. The area straight ahead is dark, but you’ll find a First Aid Kit at the end. When you’re ready, go down the stairs on the right.

Take down the monster at the bottom of the stairs.

Once it’s down, go through the wooden door at the bottom to reach the Empty Office.

Save your progress and go back upstairs, through the open doorway. Interact with the shutter to enter the main Storage Area.
Navigating the Storage Area Maze

As soon as you enter the Storage Area, you’ll see a map drawn on the wall. The Storage Area is practically a maze, and you’ll have to resort to this map to find your way around. We’ve marked the important bits in the image above. Be sure to move quickly as the area is swarming with monsters.
The area to the north, which leads to the Battery, is locked. You’ll need a Key to get there. The location of the Key is marked on the map.

The X-marked area on the map refers to a String on a shelf that you need to pick up. You’ll find it near the first lever as soon as you enter.

Once you have the String, make your way to the Tools area. Fight off the monsters and pick up a Hook from one of the shelves at the back.

Combine the Hook and String in your inventory to get the String with Hook. Then make your way to the area marked as Key. There’s a big monster here that you have to take down.

After taking it down, use the String with Hook on the drain pipe to get the Switch Key.

With the Switch Key in hand, go to the location marked with Locked on the map and use the key to open the gate.

As you enter the previously locked area and reach the first lever, you’ll spot a new map on the wall. You can simply run to the area marked as the Battery. There’s a locked door on the left side. The Key for it can be found in the corridor just before it.

First, head to the Battery by following the black wire on the ground. Use Flares to light up the area if needed. You’ll find the Battery just sitting on a shelf. Pick it up.

Once you have it, head to the location marked as Key. You’ll find the Service Key on a shelf near a safe zone. Pick it up.

Then head to the locked door on the map. It’s a blue door with Security written above it. Use the Service Key to unlock the door and head through.

This brings you through the locked door in the Service Tunnel that you found earlier. Go up the ladder.

Then make your way back to the Security Checkpoint via the passageway.

Once you’re at the Security Checkpoint, combine the Battery with the Amplifier in your inventory, and then interact with the table to craft your Portable UV Light.

Turn left at the Security Checkpoint and interact with the lever near the blast door to open it and head through.
Reaching the Wastewater

With the Portable UV Light in hand, make your way past the blast door into a long passageway.

Follow the path with the light. If the Entity 8 shows up, quickly aim at it with your weapon to shine the UV Light at it. Keep it shining till it teleports away.

Continue walking along the path, following the light till you reach a shutter with a UV Light hanging near it.

Interact with the shutter to reach the Safe Room. Go down the stairs and interact with the couch to lie down. There’s also a save point here that you can use to save your progress.

When you stand up, Mia will start chatting again. Telling you how you can defeat the Entity 8. When you’re ready, go up the stairs on the other side and head in through the door to reach the Wastewater.
Defeating Entity 8 in the Wastewater

After reaching the Wastewater, walk along the pathway and fall into the chamber below.

It’s flooded, which means you’ll be slow when moving around. You’ll spot plenty of glowing items (Bolts and Health Drinks) scattered throughout the area.

It won’t be long before Entity 8 shows itself. To defeat it, simply shine the UV light at it until its shield breaks. Then quickly shoot it with a few Bolts from your Speargun.

You can attack the monster three times before it teleports away.

There’s a raised platform in the area. We suggest using the platform for the fight since you’ll be able to dodge its attacks more easily.

The fight isn’t too difficult. Just keep shooting at it, and eventually the boss will be defeated. Once that’s done, an elevator arrives in the chamber.

Get into the elevator and head through the door once you reach the top. This takes you to the Hidden Exit.
The Backalley

Follow the path at the Hidden Exit till you reach a double door. There’s also a wooden door up ahead that lets you save your progress. Head through the double door when ready.

This takes you to the Backalley. Keep moving forward till you arrive at the main street.

This looks oddly familiar to the real world. Make your way forward along the ruined street. You’ll be able to pick up some documents along the way.

Eventually, you’ll get ambushed by a Hunter as you reach a narrow passage. Take it down.

Continue along the main path, and suddenly, you’ll get transported to Kaori/Lunatti’s city.

Make your way to Lunatti’s Apartment on the top floor of the building at the end of the street.

Interact with the door. At that point, Lunatti hears a knock on the door.

Get off the PC, open the main door, and head outside. You’ll catch a quick glimpse of Mia before she walks away.

Follow Mia to the outside of the building, and you’ll get knocked out by the person in the mask. This is where the next chapter begins.
