Lunarium – Walkthrough Part 4: Paradise

Lunarium Walkthrough

Lunarium tells the story of Ave and Lune, who are trying to solve the mystery of Nihilus, a strange darkness spreading around Ave’s hometown. The duo encounters Ryuu, another Starfarer, and she takes them to Paradise. Now, you’ll have to figure out a way to save Firleaves while getting rid of the Nihilus altogether.

Stagnant Cloak

After Ryuu shows you the way to Paradise, you’ll have to go there. Go inside the building, and you’ll find Elmo here.

However, after hearing about the reason for Lune and Ave’s arrival, he’ll simply ask you not to bother him again, as the destruction and creation of worldbubbles is a natural cycle.

After you leave the Stagnant Cloak, Ryuu will talk to you for a while. You’ll then have to head to the Graveyard of Stars. This area can be reached by going right before the Stagnant Cloak’s entrance.

Here, you’ll find a familiar face. It’s Roan, the mysterious figure you encountered before your battle against Lilia in Cyanstone.

Roan

Before you can get some answers from Roan, you’ll have to fight against them. Roan’s attacks remain mostly the same.

However, they don’t have a lot of HP. If you stagger them once or twice, you’ll be able to defeat their first phase easily.

In the second phase, Roan will summon a scythe. The scythe is a lot more difficult to deal with because Roan is faster and deals more damage.

After you’ve defeated Roan, they’ll be willing to talk to you properly. Roan asks you to locate Doro in the Dreampath, and they’ll give you an amulet that will help you guide your way in it.

Doro

After talking with Roan, head left from Roan’s arena. You’ll find a black gate here. Pass through it, and you’ll arrive in the dreampath.

Here, you have to follow the butterflies and stay close to them. They’ll lead you to the next safe spot.

If you keep following the butterflies, you’ll eventually find Doro at the end of the region.

Before you can free Doro, you’ll have to fight against a variety of enemies made out of Nihilus.

After the lesser enemies, a Shadow in the Dream enemy will appear. It’s similar to the Nihilus boss you encountered at the start of the game in Firleaves, but stronger.

Once you’ve defeated the boss, Doro will be free from the Nihilus, and you’ll obtain her Stellar Core. Furthermore, you’ll also obtain a butterfly which protects you from the Dreampath permanently.

Jump down on the path ahead, and you’ll enter the area called Paradise of Yore. Here, you’ll find a gate that will lead you out of the Dreampath.

You’ll then have to return Doro’s Stellar Core to Roan. However, they’re unable to help you out more.

Priestess

After helping Roan and obtaining Doro’s butterfly, you’ll have to head to the White Reef Isle. Go to the Pale Tear Village and enter the priestess’ abode.

Here, you’ll find a door leading to the dreampath. You’ll only be able to enter it with the help of Doro’s butterfly.

In the next sequence, you’ll have to follow the priestess in the dream and listen to her memory. Keep going ahead, as far as the priestess goes.

If you keep doing that, you’ll eventually end up in Paradise of Yore. Here, you’ll find Elmo. He’ll talk to you about Dine and Enid. He’ll ask you to continue your investigation.

Elmo

Now, what you have to do here is to head back to the White Reef Isle and dive into the priestess’ dream once again.

You’ll have to follow the same path. Listen to all of her memories, and the path will eventually bring you back to Paradise of Yore.

However, this time, you’ll have to fight against Elmo. Elmo summons several scrolls in the arena. These scrolls fire projectiles in your direction.

You should get rid of these projectiles first. Furthermore, Elmo starts the battle while he’s surrounded by a shield. Elmo will not take any damage until you destroy the shield, which can be easily done by staggering him once.

After you’ve defeated Elmo, you’ll be able to proceed to the barrier at the edge of Paradise of Yore. Use your Sword here to shatter the barrier and arrive in Enid’s space.

Enid

In the next area, you’ll have to fight against Enid. During the first phase, you have to watch out for when she deflects your attacks and performs an immediate thrust attack; parry it.

Enid will also raise her sword and smash it on the ground, dealing damage in an area. This is the golden opportunity for you to use the Blade of Rutila to deal heavy stagger damage to Enid.

After you’ve depleted Enid’s HP, Phase Two will begin. Enid becomes exceptionally fast and aggressive. In this phase, Enid may teleport in a rift.

When she reappears, she is either going to do an immediate grab attack, or she’s going to do a series of rapid slashes while moving around.

Once you’ve defeated Enid, you’ll see the ending cutscene and the game will end. You can still resume from the last bench where you rested before fighting against Enid.
