Machine Mind is a survival action game where you have to control rovers, build your base, protect your structures, and defeat any raiders. You have to play as a Mind Module that’s stuck in a post-apocalyptic world. Here, you’ll have to find a way to get off this planet, and it’s not going to be easy.

Oracle Module
After you’ve defeated the Wasteland Rumble, it will drop the Oracle Module. Once you’ve restored the Observatory, you’ll get a new objective.
The new objective asks you to deliver the Oracle Module to the Daedalus Base. However, you’ll need Plasma Cutters to break through the field around it, and you’ll also have to bring the Mind Module with you to grant you entry to the base.

However, before you get there, you’ll have to overcome many hurdles. Daedalus Base is in the toxin biome, and you’ll need proper air filter modules on your rovers to stop them from taking damage.
Before you do anything else, you should start setting up more servers until your CPU rating reaches 500. Later on, most of the advanced structures take 15 to 20 minutes to get fully researched, and that’s why you should place 2-3 Locators, depending on the need.

Expanding The Base
Each extra Locator increases the download speed by 1x, so if you have 4 Locators, you’ll be researching something that takes 20 minutes in around 5 minutes.
Furthermore, before you can head to the toxin biome, you should try to clear the facilities in the wasteland biome where your base currently is.

You can find the Large Shredder and Large Sorter at two different locations inside the wasteland biome. These structures can help you manage resources slightly well, without having to build them at your base. You can also provide them with power by placing a wind generator next to them.
Additionally, as you explore and defeat more enemies, you’ll unlock more resources. There are fuel tanks in several facilities all around the Wasteland Biome, and you’ll have to use this fuel wisely because it takes a long while until you’re ready to produce fuel at will.

Keep in mind that you’ll experience massive raids on almost every tenth Night. Make sure you’ve placed plenty of tall turrets around the base and have the storage structures protected.

Airlock Filter
You’ll first have to research the Airlock Filter Module from the Locator. This module consumes 1 power and allows you to explore the factory toxin biome freely.
However, it deteriorates after long-term use. You can spot its current condition by the lighting around it. If the light is green, then you’re good to go.

If it gets yellow, then the module is reaching its end. Once it turns red, the Airlock Filter Module will stop working and be destroyed if you try to remove it.
While the Airlock Filter Module is good for casual exploring, you’ll have to build the Membrane Filter Cabin, which allows your rover to withstand toxic environments without any Airlock Filter Modules.
You can research the Membrane Filter Cabin after you’ve researched the Airlock Filter, but it requires at least 1 AI Core.

Producing Alloy And Building AI Processors
Finding Alloy can be extremely challenging, as all the structures that produce it are locked behind AI Cores, but building an AI Processor also requires Alloy.
The only way to get it is to equip an Airlock Filter Module and a couple of good weapons and thoroughly explore the factory toxin biome. Here, you’ll find storage boxes, guarded by smaller enemies and tiny turrets. These storage boxes will include Alloy.

Make sure you avoid the big armored turrets because there’s no way you can stand against them right now. If you’ve looted every storage in the biome, you’ll have around 25 Alloy units, enough to craft an AI Processor.
First off, build the AI Processor. Once you’re done, immediately start researching the Smelter, as well as the Membrane Filter Cabin. Everything else can wait.

After you’ve fully researched the Smelter, you can place its foundation. You’ll need around 20 Alloy to finish building a Smelter.
The easiest way is to disassemble the AI Processor. You’ll get 24 Alloy units back, and you can use them to craft a Smelter. Once the smelter is ready, you can craft Alloy by combining fuel, scraps, and ore inside it, and that will stabilize your Alloy production.

Keep in mind that you can get ores from the factory toxin biome. You’ll need a Drill module to get the ore. You can use the fuel obtained from the fuel storage in different facilities inside the wasteland biome.
Once you’ve produced 25 Alloy again, you can then build an AI Processor once again, or even two of them, once the production really takes off. Also, try to set up fuel production as soon as possible, before the fuel in the storage structures runs out.

Preparations To Enter The Daedalus Base
To break through the force field, you’ll need at least three Plasma Cutters, firing off at once. Now, you’ll have to make some adjustments to your rover in such a way that all three Plasma Cutters are aiming in the same direction.
Keep in mind that this is a Combat Plasma Cutter weapon, not the Torch Plasma Cutter, which is used to disassemble abandoned machines, and you can produce it after you’ve got the AI cores and Alloy production going.

If you see a “requires a manipulator” requirement for crafting certain modules, then you have to either equip the Claw Module on your main rover or have one of your rovers equip it and assign it the Worker role. You can then simply set your desired item in production on the workbench, and the Worker rover will handle the rest.
Your rover should have three platforms in the front and one on the back. You’ll also need to provide enough power to run three Plasma Cutters at once, since each of them consumes around 5 Power.

If you’re using the Membrane Filter Cabin, you’ll have to place at least three Diesel Generators. Furthermore, since this build consumes a lot of fuel, you can also craft some fuel tanks and place them on the rover.
Once everything is done, don’t forget the Mind Module, as well as the Oracle Module. The Mind Module is only being taken to the base to open the gate, and you’ll have to place the Oracle Module inside a relevant structure on the base.

The Daedalus Base And The Oracle Module
Head for the marked location on the map. Once you get there, you’ll find a force field here. Keep shooting the force field with your Plasma Cutters, and it will be gone shortly.
You’ll then have to go inside the base. There’s a square-shaped slot here. Place the Oracle Module inside the slot, but be wary, because once you do so, you’ll be ambushed.

Once you place the Module, several vehicles will ambush you, and you’ll have to defeat all of them. These vehicles drop plenty of storage and weapon modules, but it’s difficult to carry all of them back in one go.
The Oracle Module stays activated for two full minutes. Once the two-minute countdown is over, Oracle AI will start talking to you.

It tells you that it knows of a way to send you back to the orbit. The Oracle tells you about a rocket inside the frost biome. It will also give you a Heating Module so your rovers don’t freeze inside the region.
Once all that is said and done, you can return to your base with your Mind Module. The Oracle can stay inside the Daedalus Base. Keep improving your technology for now, and get better weapons because the frost biome is full of armored enemies.
