Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for the Madripoor region of Marvel’s Wolverine. Play through Insomniac’s retelling of Logan’s story as you claw your way out through your enemies. Mission 1: Knock Knock
Head towards the Trask Tower alongside Sabretooth. You’ll have to rush towards the tower, fighting multiple waves of guards and reavers in your path. After defeating each wave, follow Sabretooth to the next section. Additionally, make sure to destroy any turrets first when you encounter them.
When you get near the entrance to the core of the tower, armed vehicles will approach you. Make sure to defeat the enemies here and disable the vehicles as well. Once you get inside the building, follow the quest marker to go down an elevator shaft.
More enemies will be waiting for you at the bottom, so get ready to fight. Press on through the tower until you arrive at the core pillars. Destroy the pillars in this section and then get rid of the core itself.
You’ll come out of the first section of the tower at this point. Continue to the next part of the tower with Sabretooth and defeat the hostiles you encounter along the way. Make sure to stay clear of the snipers as well. Keep following the quest marker, and you will arrive at the signal relay at the top of the tower, which you’ll need to destroy as well.
A cutscene plays out next, after which you’ll need to make your escape through more of Trask’s reinforcements. You’ll find flammable barrels in your path this time, which you can use to light your claws on fire, severely increasing your damage output. Another cutscene plays out at the end of this section, which also marks the end of this mission.
Mission 2: Mutant Detected
Continue straight ahead and take a left at the end to arrive at a locked door. Type in the passcode 0514 to unlock the door and head down. Keep following Mystique and head further down while defeating enemies in your path. Utilize stealth wherever you can; otherwise, go all out with your claws to finish the job.
You will come across a brute enemy as well. Try to parry its yellow attack and keep an eye out for its red attacks, which can deal a lot of damage. In the next section, you’ll have to hide behind blockades while fighting enemies. Make sure to not accidentally go out of the wall’s protection because the lasers will get you.
When the walls get destroyed, just keep running around while attacking until new blockades spawn. Mystique will eventually take control of the lasers, and you’ll be able to use her help to defeat your foes. Her help will be especially useful against brutes in this section.
Head further down and explore the bay that you arrive at, and speak with Mystique at the end. Follow the blue trail after the cutscene ends and go through the portal. Continue through the large tunnel and keep pressing forward even when it is depleting your health. The trail comes back after this section, and you’ll need to follow it to progress.
Mission 3: For Our Future
This entire mission is essentially one big boss fight which involves defeating the Sentinel Prototype. Wait for the Sentinel to slam its arms on the ground and then rush in once it stops.
When the prototype attacks you with lasers, run around and go in for an all-out offense using Mystique’s help. She can counter the robot with a laser of her own, which can stagger the prototype.
You can also focus on damaging the robot when it’s targeting its lasers up above. Once you destroy one of its arms, you’ll enter the next phase of the battle. There’s an AOE missile attack that you need to run away from in this phase.
The sentinel also performs more hand slams in succession now. It will throw laser bullets at you, which can be parried pretty easily. Mystique’s laser can also be utilized in the second phase.
When the boss charges up its super attack, make sure to get behind the cover that Sabretooth provides you. Defeat the boss to trigger the cutscene that marks the end of this mission.
Mission 4: One Last Mission
Start by heading upstairs inside the bar and following the blue trail to speak with Sabretooth. Follow the quest marker to speak with Walter inside the room at the end of the hallway. Pick up various records in his room and play them one by one.
Lastly, head back down to the counter of the bar and speak with Mystique. Speak with Walter one more time near the jukebox after this conversation. Exit the bar after this conversation to find a blue trail, which you need to follow to track down Jean.
Once you’re done speaking with Jean, use the ropes to slide down towards the visual cue on your screen. A blue trail will appear on your screen when you’re close, so start following it. You’ll have to defeat the ninja enemies here known as The Hand.
After defeating the enemies and heading through the door here, you’ll enter a chase section. Don’t lose track of the ninja that you need to follow; otherwise, you’ll have to restart. Keep running towards the enemy and follow the orange trail that he leaves behind. You’ll have to fight more enemies at the end.
Follow the footsteps after this encounter to enter the hideout of your enemies. Clear the area and use your senses to trace Walter’s trail to a grey container. Interact with the jacket inside the container and exit to trigger a cutscene.
More enemies will jump you at this point, so take care of them to complete the mission. You will have successfully completed your first visit to Madripoor at this point in the game.
