Masters Of Albion: Day 1 – 10 Walkthrough

Masters Of Albion Walkthrough

Masters of Albion is a city-builder simulation game where you are a hand. With great power at your fingertips, you’ll have to produce and earn profit from your business during the day, and fight against waves of deadly undead at night. Not only that, but you also have to manage your resources and care for your heroes while your city grows and prospers.

For more information on the game, please visit its official Steam page here.

Day 1: Awakening

As the game begins, you’ll have a third-person view of your character. Walk in the area. You’ll find it surrounded by greenery and a little fog.

When you enter the town, you’ll notice that everything is covered in moss. Barely anything looks functional here. You’ll then hear a voice that will tell you to approach a door with a golden hand on it.

You’ll find such a door on the crypt on the edge of a small body of water, connected by a small wooden bridge. When you get inside the crypt, a cutscene will trigger, and the game will officially begin.

Putting The Village Together

Now that you’re a hand, you can interact with the moss-covered buildings to clean them up. All of these buildings are in parts.

Once you’ve cleaned a part of a building, you can click and drag it, and it will attach itself to the respective building it belongs to.

By the time you’re done, you’ll have a food dispatch building, a factory, a farm, a mill, and a tavern ready.

There’s a golden scroll on top of the crypt. These golden scrolls are quests. Interact with it, and you’ll find the NPCs that will be helping you out with your tasks here.

After you’ve clicked on the scroll, the keeper of the crypt will cause the day to turn into night. An undead will walk to the crypt from the cemetery towards the northwest.

You have to defeat the undead by picking up the rocks in the area and dropping them on the undead. Once the undead is defeated, it will be morning of Day 2.

Day 2: Growth

As the day begins, Valmey will ask you to clean all the buildings and put them together if you haven’t done so already.

The workers will show up at the tavern for hire. You can simply click on the card for workers and drag it to any building that needs a worker.

Valmey will ask you to hire three workers. You’ll have to put a worker in the farm, mill, and factory. Once everything is running, you’ll have to wait for the big balloon.

Shortly after, a balloon will arrive from the north and stop on top of the food dispatch building. After the balloon is here, you’ll start getting food orders. Drag the order card from the food dispatch building to the order board in the factory.

Preparing Food

After every time you put a food order card in the factory, you’ll go inside it to prepare the food. You’ll see a list of categories on the bottom left, and there will be ingredients on the bottom of the screen.

Read the order carefully. The order hints can be a bit tricky to comprehend, and you’ll have to be clever to figure out what the customer wants from you.

The first order asks you to prepare a basic sandwich. The basic, balanced, nourishing, tasty, and delicious are categories. The more complex a dish is, the higher its category will be. However, it will also require more resources.

For the basic sandwich, you simply have to put a piece of bread and then a slice of cheese. Put another piece of bread on top of the cheese, and you’ll have your sandwich ready.

Click on the MAKE button after you’ve prepared the dish. A character will eat the food and give some reaction depending on whether your dish matches what the customer wanted or not. If you don’t like the reaction, you can redesign the dish.

Once you’re satisfied with the reaction, click on the MAKE button again. You’ll get some points from the customer, which will go towards upgrading your reputation with the specific customer. Completing orders and raising reputation gives you more bonuses with the respective customer.

After you’ve designed the dish, your workers will handle the rest. Note that all ingredients are made from flour. Even if it’s a tomato, it’s going to consume flour as a resource.

Complex dishes will require more flour, which can be produced by the farm and then processed by the mill. Valmey will also teach you how to speed up the work process of a building by clicking and holding the left mouse button on a production building.

After that, Valmey will ask you to transfer the wheat from the farm’s output box to the mill’s input box. You can easily click and drag the wheat from the output to the mill’s input board.

You’ll then have to wait till your workers have sold at least two products. After that, Cricket will show up on the screen, asking you to visit the Arcadium.

Arcadium

The Arcadium’s icon will show up at the bottom of the screen. Here, you can unlock all types of upgrades, from mystic powers to building and powers related to the people.

After you click on the Arcadium, it will open up the menu. Here, you’ll have to switch to the Mystic tab and unlock the Lightning Bolt ability.

Magic abilities consume mana, but are quite strong. Mana can be replenished by consuming the blue orbs that appear after you defeat and deal damage to the enemies.

Furthermore, each tab in the Arcadium consumes a different type of currency, indicated by the initials, alongside the coins. Mystic currency is represented by M and can be obtained by defeating enemies with Mystic abilities. Similarly, you can get the People’s currency by completing food orders for the people.

Then, you’ll have to press the crescent moon icon on the calendar in the top-right corner of the screen to immediately fast forward to nighttime.

Here, you’ll have to use your newly acquired mystic ability to defeat the undead. Keep in mind that they Hand is useless in the areas that are grayed out. So, you won’t be able to target the enemies from inside the gray zone.

Day 3: Defense

As the day begins, you’ll notice a quest near the tavern. Here, you’ll find an older couple. They’re willing to give you their land, but only if you can design a chicken pie for them.

Drag the order card and put it in the factory. The hint says Poultrlicious Pie, so you’ll have to use chicken ingredients for it. Place chicken lumps and chicken stock inside the pie crust. That will be enough to win the hearts of the couple.

Once you’ve produced two chicken pies, you’ll get the expansion land deed. Drag the deed from the bottom tab and drop it on the map. This will unlock the left half of the Oakridge village.

You’ll also get the Oakridge Block Pack, which will give you new pieces to build buildings with. After that, Cricket will ask you to open up the Arcadium and unlock the Build Wall power.

After you’ve purchased the ability from the Arcadium, you’ll get a fence icon at the bottom of the screen. Click on the fence icon. Then, click on the edge of the fence near the cemetery, on the northwest side of the village.

Drag the fence to the other edge of the area. After that, you’ll have to provide the structure with wood. The board for wood is near the water. Drag and drop the wood from the board to the fence, and it will be completed in no time.

Crypt Keeper will then warn you that you have to prepare your defenses for what’s to come on the 11th night. You’ll also get a chance to pick one of the upgrades. I picked Cricket’s option to boost the Mystic powers.

At night, you’ll be attacked by the undead once again. Use your Mystic abilities to defeat them. The fence will prevent them from entering the village. If you run out of mana, you can still defeat the undead by dropping stones on them.

Day 4: Heroes

On Day 4, Cricket will ask you to unlock the Heroes from the Arcadium. Once that’s done, you’ll get the hero guild base plot card. Drag and drop the card in the village to set the foundation of the building.

The hero guild base requires you to use certain blocks to make the building functional. You’ll have to place at least 1 hero’s bedchamber, 1 guild healing, 1 guild training, and 1 roof block.

After the building is complete, a hero will visit the tavern shortly. The hero’s name card will be visible on the tavern. You’ll have to drag and drop it on the guild base to hire them for life.

The crypt keeper will then guide you about some basic functions for controlling heroes, such as leveling up and focusing.

You’ll then have to click on the moon. Here, you have to make the hero defeat at least four enemies. You can simply drop the hero near the cemetery to the northwest of the town.

From there, you can either let the hero fight on their own or possess them to defeat the enemies more quickly.

Day 5: Venture Forth

On Day 5, you’ll have to possess the hero and head out of the village. While the hand doesn’t have any power in the gray areas, you can still possess a hero and move freely with them.

The Crypt Keeper will ask you to look for a young boy before the night. You’ll have to possess the hero and head out from Oakridge through the northern gate.

Here, you have to make your way towards the west. You’ll find the man you’re looking for here. Once you’ve found the man, you’ll have to escort him to the tavern. Make sure you don’t run too far from him.

After the man arrives at the tavern, he’ll give you the History of Albion book, alongside some gold. You can then end the day and deal with the undead.

Day 6: Revelation

As the day begins, the Crypt Keeper will ask you to drag the book’s card on the screen. After you do that, she’ll tell you that the gray zone is the area full of malevolence, but the beacons can fix that.

Unfortunately, the beacons are broken, and you’ll have to piece them together. You’ll then have to possess your hero and venture towards the north of the village.

You’ll find a small circular plate before the broken tower. Interact with the tower. The tower’s blocks are spread all around the area. Pick them up and place them on the foundation.

Once the beacon is built, you’ll have to place the hand on the plate and hold the left mouse button to transfer mana to it. Shortly after, the area will become available to you and won’t be grayed out anymore.

The Astral Warrior

The crypt keeper then asks you to find the astral warrior to know more about the book. He’s sitting at the tent next to the tower.

When you talk to him, he’ll ask you to put the singing stones back together. Now, there are many singing stones in the area, and some of them are redundant.

Click on the stones to check their sound. If the sound is bad, you can ignore the stone and put all the other stones together around the tent.

You have to put the stones in such an order that each stone’s tone plays well with the next stone. Once you’re done, the warrior will tell you more about the history of the region.

Day 7: Efficiency

On Day 7, Valmey will ask you to improve the efficiency of production buildings. She’ll ask you to employ 13 workers. An empty plot becomes available to the north of the village, and you can use that place to set up a residential building.

A residential building only needs an entrance and a bed. You can pile up multiple bedroom blocks on the same building. Right now, you only need 6 more bedrooms, or 3 if you’re using the double bedrooms.

No workers will become available to hire, unless there’s a place for them to work. Valmey asks you to build 9 workstations. Now is the perfect time to unlock the water purifier from the Arcadium.

Water purification allows you to grow crops and ore again. Set up around 6 water purification stations near a body of water, preferably inside the village. Once that’s done, you can also unlock the lumber mill from the Arcadium.

Place 3 workstations in the lumber mill, and you’ll be good to go. Wait for the workers to become available in the tavern so you can hire them. The day doesn’t change unless you click the moon icon, so you have all the time you need to gather the gold and prepare.

If you run out of gold, you can possess your hero and walk around the area. Some quests in the region can help you get a ton of gold, especially after you’ve placed so many buildings.

There’s a quest to collect chickens by kicking them into the pen. If you go west from the tower, you’ll find a man near the trees. He’ll ask you to take care of the wasp nets for 1000 gold.

Once you’ve completed Valmey’s quest, you’ll get a dairy pack as a reward. Drag and drop the card on the map. This will give you more options for your dishes.

Day 8: Rebuild

On Day 8, you’ll have to rebuild the mining village of Wyrmscar. Valmey will teach you a few tricks with heroes. After that, she’ll ask you to clean up the mining area in Wyrmscar because bandits have taken hold there. You’ll also have to activate the beacon here, as the area is gray.

Possess the hero and get rid of the bandits. The beacon is on the other side of the area, but the bridges are broken. Fortunately, you can still get there by going around the mountain.

Once you’ve activated the beacon, you’ll be able to clean the buildings and put them together as you did in Oakridge at first.

Wyrmscar has a tavern of its own, so you can use it to hire workers for the mine, smelter, and factory. You’ll also get a new hero to hire. But for that, you’ll have to add one more bedchamber to the hero guild base in Oakridge.

Getting Better Weapons

Now, Valmey will ask you to unlock the weaponsmith from the Arcadium. Place the building’s card anywhere on the map, but it’s better to do it near Wyrmscar. The building will need 1 roof, 1 weaponsmith stall, and 1 stock input pad.

Once the building is done, you’ll get a weapon order on top of it. Drag and drop the order on the Wyrmscar factory. Here, you’ll have to design a weapon, similar to how you design the meals.

After the weapon is built and delivered to the weaponsmith, you can drop the hero on the building, and they’ll equip this new weapon.

It is completely optional, but shortly after, a lady builder will appear near the broken bridge in Wyrmscar. She’ll give you a quest to repair the bridge. This lady asks for some wood, which you’ll have to place on her cart, and then she’ll repair the bridge by herself.

Day 9: Equipment

On Day 9, you’ll receive an order at the metal dispatch building in Wyrmscar. Similar to food dispatch, you’ll have to drop the order from the metal dispatch to the nearby factory in Wyrmscar.

Design the weapons according to the instructions given in the weapon’s order note. After you’ve completed the order, you’ll be free to end the day.

However, it’s best to unlock the armory from the Arcadium. You can use that to provide better armor for your heroes. Similar to the weaponsmith’s building, you’ll have to drop the order on the factory from the armory.

Once the armor is ready and delivered to the armory, you can drop your hero on the building to have them equip it.

Day 10: Survive

On Day 10, you don’t have any quests, but you have to prepare for the night. You’ll be attacked from all sides, including the cliff behind the crypt, so you’ll have to be prepared.

You can build turrets in some places, but they’re not as helpful. Make sure you get the Level 2 mana upgrade from Arcadium’s Mystic tab to increase your mana pool.

Once the night comes, you’ll have to send one hero near the cemetery that is located to the northwest of Oakridge. While the other hero can guard the north gate at the start.

Shortly after, you can move the second hero from the north gate to the area behind the crypt. Furthermore, new undead enemies with explosive barrels on them will try to rush towards the crypt.

You can defeat these enemies easily with the lightning bolt spell. Additionally, you can drop villagers in the path of the undead to stop them from reaching the crypt.

If any of your heroes die, immediately drop them in the healing block of the guild. The night is long, but if you manage to hold out long enough, the sun will rise, and the undead will be no more. You can also click on the sun on the calendar to speed up to daytime.
