Reaching Haven

Make your way to the room where you talked to Arjuna in Feral Undergrowth. Instead of going toward the NPC, we’ll head downward, past the enemy patrolling the bottom.

There’s a scorpion-type robot waiting to ambush you as you drop down to the next section. It can be a tough enemy at this point, so be careful. Take down the robot and salvage the Mechanical Remains to find an Old Core.

The main path leads upward. But before you use the grapple point, head right.

Use the flower to refresh your jump and reach the other side of the lake. You’ll find some Crystallised Nacre here.

Return to the earlier section and use the grapple point to reach the upper level. From here, you can jump up and use the flowers to reach a ledge on the left.

Pick up the item to unlock the Defense Mechanism Modifier.

Drop back down and continue heading forward along the main path. From this point, you can drop down and head right to find a Junk Pile.

Break it for some Nacre, then continue ascending through the zone. You’ll find another object on the ground as you reach the section shown in the image above. Pick it up to collect the Cryptic Curio.
Then jump up and break the flower on the left to unlock a shortcut back to an earlier section.

Continue along the main path,1 and soon you’ll have to drop down to an area with some robots.

Take them down and continue forward to start climbing again. There’s a hidden room here that leads to some Crystallised Nacre. Remember to pick it up.

After the first set of platforms, you’ll spot two flowers on the right. You can use them to reach a platform where you’ll find a Coating Component.

Continue climbing up, and soon you’ll reach the next location, Haven.
Exploring the Eastern Section

Haven is a large zone, but at this point, we can’t access most of the sections on the right. So after walking out, start going left.

You’ll reach a platform with red grass on the edge. Jump across to land on the branch with golden leaves on the left.

The flower up ahead is a jump pad. There’s a small entrance just past it that leads to an item (Coating Component).

Pick up the item and drop down to the lower level. The hole through the floor will take you to the Nacre Basin back at Feral Undergrowth, while heading right will take you back to the upper section.

So continue forward along the left path. You’ll find two robots talking up ahead about someone called Crow.

Keep running forward across the golden meadow until you spot a grappling point above you.

Continue past the grapple point to reach a door. Interact with it to unlock a shortcut back to The Severed Spine.

Return to the grapple point and go up. Parkour across the next few platforms to go as high as you can.

This will take you to an entrance. Pick up the item above to collect another Letter from Tomo. When you’re ready, head through the entrance to spot a robot standing still. This is Crow, and as soon as you hit him, the next boss fight will start.
How to Defeat Crow, Automated Reaper

Crow can be a real skillcheck because of his fast attacks. By now, you’ve unlocked both the Dodge and Hairpin ability, which will help you negate most of his attacks. But learning his moveset and responding to them quickly is the only way to defeat the boss.

His most dangerous move is when he floats on one corner of the arena and does a horizontal swipe all across the room. Use the grapple point in the middle to stay in the air and avoid damage.
He also has a projectile attack and a three-hit combo that you’ll want to watch out for. For the three-hit combo, you’ll want to use the Hairpin to get behind the boss.

The second phase of the boss doesn’t add much. The arena shrinks slightly, and Crow will chain three slam attacks in quick succession. But other than that, his moves remain pretty much the same.
Unlocking the Harvester

After defeating the boss, exit the arena through the left side. You’ll find another Strange Tube as you drop down through the roof of a house.

Talk to Samsk, and like before, she’ll whisk you away for a new ability. This time you’re getting the Harvester.

Harvester allows you to refill your energy by striking at purple flowers when you’re in the air. This lets you chain multiple grapples to reach previously inaccessible locations. You can explore Metropolis once you’ve unlocked this ability.

Complete the tutorial segment, and return to the entrance of the boss arena. You can use the Hairpin and Harvester to reach a branch above you.

Here you’ll find a Container. Open it and pick up the item to collect The Hand’s Greed Modifier.
At this point, you can continue exploring the rest of Haven, but you’ll eventually run into a dead end. So instead, we’ll make our way back to Metropolis since we’ve already unlocked a shortcut back to The Severed Spine.
