Activating The Elevator

Return to Haven’s entrance and start heading right. The first NPC you meet before the Nacre Basin will give you an Old Core.

Jump across the lake and use the jump pad on the ground to reach the tree branch above you. You can collect some Nacre from a Junk Pile here.

Drop down and continue moving till you reach a platform. The main path leads up using the grapple point.

But before you start going up, jump to the second platform on the right and continue forward. You’ll see an NPC here waiting for someone named Alice. There’s a zone west of here, but to get there, we need to unlock a new ability.

Backtrack to the earlier area and start parkouring up using the grapple points and flowers.

Moving along, the area will open up. There’s a Crystallised Nacre at the bottom. Pick it up.

Explore the bottom section first. Jump across using the jump pads.

Break the flower to open a path on the other side of the lake.

Follow the path forward till you reach a gauntlet.

Defeat the enemies and continue heading left. Drop down to find a Mechanical Remains that you can salvage. On the left, there’s an invisible enemy that’ll attack you.
Take down the enemy and loot the Remains for an Old Core. Then break the flower on the right to unlock a shortcut.

Keep going left. You’ll find some more Crystallised Nacre on the ground. Use the jump pad up ahead and grapple points to reach an upper area.

There are two more invisible enemies up ahead. Take them down.

Grapple past the red grass and continue heading forward till you spot a large flower. Break it to unlock a shortcut. This is the same area that you came through earlier via The Spine. The elevator takes you to the Barn, where you fought Crow.

Continue ascending through the zone using the grapple point above you. You’ll meet an NPC (Oiwa) that you can talk to. There’s a Crystalliser just past him.

Go past the Crystalliser to reach a bridge. From here, you can either go up or right.
Exploring the Right Section

Let’s go right from the bridge first. Up ahead, you’ll notice another fork. Head through the hole at the bottom.

There’s nothing here apart from an item on a ledge we can’t reach. So let’s mark it on the map and return here later.

Go back using the grapple point and continue heading right. There’s a Junk Pile you can break.

Continue along the path to reach a Container guarded by four enemies. Take them down.

Loot the container for a Candle.

There’s a jump pad that you can use to get on the roof.

Break the flower up ahead, and use the platforms afterward to reach the upper floor.

As you head inside, you’ll see the bush moving. Interact with it, and an NPC will talk to you. This is Cos, one of Mel’s assistants.

After this, four invisible enemies will spawn in the area. Take them down and talk to Cos again. She will go back to Mel.

There’s another grapple point outside the area, but this leads to another item we can’t reach without a new ability. So let’s head back to the bridge and explore the upper path next.
Finding the Bell Tower Attuner

From the bridge, you need to complete a series of Hairpin and Harvester jumps to reach the next platform.

You’ll reach a cave after the parkour section. Use the jump pads to go up.

Continue moving forward through the zone. The path is straightforward, but requires a bit of precision platforming.

You’ll reach a wooden platform with a grapple point to your right. There are jump pads flowing on the waterfall that you’ll have to use to get across this section.

On the other side, you’ll spot a Junk Pile. The large door on the right can be accessed using the Bell Tower Visitor Pass we picked up in Metropolis.

Open the door and head inside. There’s an Attuner (Bell Tower) here that we can use to save our progress. Don’t worry about using the elevator for now. We’ll return to this zone later.

Go back through the left exit, and instead of heading up, let’s go down.

There’s an invisible enemy here as soon as you drop down. Take it down, then go right, through the doorway.

Pick up the Crystallised Nacre, go back into the cave, and drop down to the lower section. There’s a small opening past the jump pad on the left that you can enter.

Here, you can spend 20 Nacre Droplets to repair a grapple point that rests on the other side of the grate. If you’ve got enough, you should definitely repair the grapple point.

Go back to where you came from and continue right to reach an area with a robot on the ground. Pick up the item to collect the Nacre Draught Modifier. You’re done with this area for now. Return to the Bell Tower entrance.

From the entrance, keep heading upward through the zone using the grapple points. There will be two NPCs you meet as you continue forward.

Go past the second NPC sitting on the ledge to find a Nacre Basin. This is where the path splits off again.
Exploring the Upper Path

Let’s go with the upper path first. This marks the beginning of a challenging parkour segment. Make sure you avoid getting hit by the red grass. As you reach the end you’ll be able to open a shortcut.

Continue left, and you’ll be able to drop down. There are two Junk Piles here.

Enter the cave on the left to spot a difficult enemy up ahead. Take it down.

Continue following the path, and you’ll eventually reach an item on the ground. Pick it up to collect another Candle. Then break the flower on the left and drop down.
Finding Asma, The Eye

Head left after dropping down to spot an elevator up ahead. Activate it. This is the same elevator that you unlocked earlier.

Continue left to spot an NPC standing here. Keep moving past the NPC to enter a large hall.

At the center of the room, you’ll see a Broken Shard. Interact with it to reminisce.

This is Asma, The Eye, one of the five Pearls that you’re tasked with finding. Since you have two Candles, you can interact with the Shard two times. You’ll need more Candles to finish the questline.

Keep heading left to reach a door. This leads back to The Severed Spine. Before we continue exploring the Bell Tower, let’s talk to Shii since we’ve found one of the Pearls.

You’ll trigger some dialogues and a short cutscene as the Pearl is severed.

Go to the elevator on the left of The Severed Spine and ride it to L2: Bell Tower. Continue left and grapple past the section to loop back to the Bell Tower Attuner.

Use the elevator on the right to go to Pendulum’s Panorama.
Pendulum’s Panorama

As you reach the upper floor, get on top of the elevator using the jump pad on the left. The main path is through the left door.

The door on the right from the elevator leads to an Old Core that you can salvage. Pick it up and then take the left exit from the elevator room.

Jump past the red grass to reach an open area with some grapple points and platforms that you can use to climb up.

Head left along the ground level first till you reach a tunnel. Parkour past the red grass to find the Wild Cat Modifier.

Return to the large open area and start making your way across using the grapple points.
There are some Junk Pile and Crystallised Nacre in this area that you can collect. Other than that, you’ll find two exits.

The top-left exit leads to a room where there’s a tough enemy below you. We’ll have to return here later once we unlock another ability. Place a marker on your map so that you remember it.

Head to the top-right section of the zone, and after a couple of flying enemies, you’ll reach a Nacre Basin on a balcony.

Go into the room on the right to trigger a gauntlet. Defeat the enemies.

You can now call the elevator and use it as a shortcut to return to the Bell Tower Attuner if you need to heal up.
Unlocking the Glide Ability

Continue past the elevator and go up the tree branches and grapple points.

From the balcony, head left first to pick up a Crystallised Nacre. Then jump across to the bridge on the right and use the jump pad to go up.

Go left, past the Nacre Basin, to land on a platform with red grass all around you.

This is another parkour section, and this time you’ll have to use the jump pads to make your way to the top of the area. The jumps can be tricky, but it’s not too difficult.

After the first set of jumps, you’ll reach a wooden platform. You can see an item on the left, but it’s just out of reach.

Continue going up to reach the Bell Tower Celestial Bell. You’ll land right in front of a Strange Tube.

Talk to Samsk, and she’ll grant you a new ability after the conversation.

This time, you’ll learn the Glide ability, which lets you float through the air. It costs energy, so you can’t just glide everywhere. Run through the parkour section to learn how to use it.

Before you head back down, jump across the gap and head right to find another Letter From Tomo.

Make your way back to the entrance of the section. Don’t forget to pick up the item (Coating Component) that you spotted earlier.

With our newfound ability, we can now explore the western section, past the red grass that we saw near the entrance.
Belfry Pathway

Use your newfound Glide ability to get past the parkour section.

You’ll reach a hanging platform above a lake. Glide across the gap to the right side.

Continue moving forward, heading down through the zone. The path is pretty linear right now.

As you reach a relatively open area, you’ll spot an NPC on the left.

Glide across and talk to the NPC. He wants to sell you an item for 10,000 Nacre, which is a bit too much to spend at this point.

Go left past the NPC. There’s a Crystalliser and a Crystallised Nacre here.

Return to the main path and drop down to the lower floor.

Start going left now. You’ll have to Glide across a lake.

Keep pushing forward past the next section. There’s an enemy here that you’ll have to get past.

Eventually, you’ll be able to drop down in front of a robot NPC.

Open the door on the left. This is a shortcut back to the elevator room of Bell Tower.
Mending the Torn Overseer

After opening the shortcut, continue heading right. You’ll see a lot of NPCs here.

Talk to Janus, the Librarian up ahead. She’ll tell you that the Greenhouse is shut and entry is forbidden. This means you can’t meet with Breath the next Pearl on our list. Use the grapple point above you to reach the roof.

You’ll find the Torn Overseer on the left. Interact with it to send it back to the Bell Tower Attuner.

Before you drop down from the roof, you can spot an item on a small ledge. You can’t reach it yet. Mark it on your map so that you can come back later to collect it
Wrapping Up Bell Tower Exploration

Return to the Bell Tower Attuner and save your progress. Your map will be updated. Open your map and check unexplored areas. We’ll head toward the location marked on the image above.

Take the left exit and drop down. Take down the invisible enemy here and continue heading right to reach an area with some red grass. We found a Crystallised Nacre here earlier. But now that we have the Glide ability, we can go past the red grass.

Soar across to the right and continue moving forward to spot another parkour section.

This section is a bit longer than the parkour segments you’ve faced so far. You’ll find an Old Core along the way.

Eventually, you’ll drop down to a section with a Junk Pile up ahead. Take down the flying enemies and glide to the other side.

There’s a Nacre Basin up ahead. Continue past it to reach a dark area where you can drop down.

Below you’ll find an Old Core by salvaging a Mechanical Remains.

Keep moving forward, and after dropping down a set of rocks, you’ll see an item on the right. It’s another Coating Component that you can pick up.

Continue heading downward until you spot a breakable flower. Break it and drop down to loop back to Haven.

You’ll land right on top of the NPC who is waiting for Alice. Now that we’ve unlocked the Glide ability, we can check out the western section across the dark chasm.
