Tutorial
As the game starts, the tutorial will begin, and you’ll have to mine these rocks called Polyrock. You can find the mining tool in the bottom tab.
Place these modules in the highlighted places. Once you’ve placed all four mining tools on the Polyrock deposits. After that, the tutorial will ask you to place a furnace. You can also find it in the pink section of the bottom tab.
After placing the furnace, you’ll have to connect it all with a conveyor belt, which is the leftmost option on the toolbar at the bottom.

Next, you’ll have to place a cutter. Once you’ve placed it, click on it, and then you’ll be able to configure it. Here, you have to select the option in such a way that the Polyrock cube is cut into two equal pieces.
Now, you’ll have to place the assembler. Assembler has two input paths, so you’ll have to place a splitter here on the conveyor belt passing through the cutter.
Connect it all with some more conveyor belts, and now click on the assembler. You’ll see the module pieces coming along the belt into the assembler.

Here, you have to drag them onto the platform on the right, and you have to assemble them according to the diagram of the required module.
There’s a building nearby. Select it and activate a crane. Place the crane and connect it to the output from the assembler through the belts.

The Second Module
Now that you’re delivering the first module to the core production facility, you’ll have to make preparations to craft the second module.
Select the copy tool from the bottom left tab on the screen. Click and drag the cursor to select the miners and the furnace, all the way up to the first cutter.
Place the structures on the Polyrock deposits just down below. Now, you’ll have to place another cutter after the first cutter. Here, you’ll divide the polyrock into two further parts.

Build a splitter just after the second cutter and give its output to an assembler. In the assembler, you’ll have to configure it in such a way that it matches the module in the diagram.
You’ll now be able to craft the required module. But you’ll have to access the basic core facility and add two cranes to it.
Now, since the assembler is giving only one output, you’ll have to place a splitter here. Just after the splitter, connect the conveyor to the two cranes.

Basic Cores To Basic Bots
You can collect the modules from facilities with the help of Harvester Pads. These harvester pads use drones to transport items, and that’s why you can place them a little further away as well, without having to worry about the conveyor paths too much.
After placing the Harvesting Pad, you’ll have to connect it to the basic core production facility. You can leave the basic core facility and select the buildings category from the bottom tab. Select the basic bot assembly.
The basic bot assembly needs two modules, and one of them is a black module, which is why you’ll have to build a monotoner. Start by setting up two miners connected to a furnace.

Pass them through two cutters, each cutting the modules into two halves. Merge them into one till it’s like a tall tower-like module. Pass it through a monotoner and connect it to a crane outside of the basic bot assembly.
The second module is fairly simple. You’re already producing the bigger 2x4x8 module for the core facility. Here, you just have to put a splitter after the assembly and pass it through a cutter.

Cut these modules in half, and you’ll get the required module shape. Deliver it to the basic bot assembly.

Basic Processing Plant
The basic processing plant is a little tricky, as its modules are a mix of black and white pieces. For the first module, you’ll have to set up a few more miners and connect them to a furnace. Place two cutters to produce tower-like modules as we did earlier.
Put an assembler ahead of the two cutters, and merge the two pieces of the modules into one. Now, since we need two of these modules to merge them together, you’ll have to place a splitter after the assembler.

Put another assembler ahead of the splitter, but pass one of the conveyors through the monotoner. This will allow you to produce the first module for the basic processing plant.
You’ll still need to connect the conveyor to the processing plant and deploy a crane from it.

The Second Module For The Basic Processing Plant
The second module is a lot more challenging. Place up to two miners. Place a cutter after the furnace. Make sure you’re cutting the Polyrock block into four pieces in the cutter.
Just ahead of the cutter, you’ll have to place a splitter. Pass one output through another splitter, connecting it to an assembler, while the other output goes to another cutter.

Now, inside the assembler, you’ll have to merge these two pieces into one and pass it through a monotoner so you can get the large black piece of the module.
Then, you’ll have to focus on the other two parts of the module. Place a splitter ahead of the cutter and connect it to an assembler. In the assembler, you’ll be connecting the two pieces to create the white part of the module.

Place another splitter ahead of this assembler. One output of the splitter goes to another assembler, and you’ll have to merge the large black piece with the smaller white piece here.
Pass the other output through a monotoner. Here, place one more assembler, and merge the previous assembler’s output with the monotoned piece in this one, and you’ll get your second module.
Send the module to the basic processing plant through a crane.

Delivery Dock
After your processing plant has both modules running steadily, you’ll need to transport cores here, the cores that you produced at the basic core facility.
Place a crane outside the processing plant. Connect this crane with the output of the harvesting pad where you were receiving the basic cores.

Build another harvesting pad to collect the bots from the basic bots assembly. Connect the bots from the harvesting pads to the delivery dock in the middle of the area. Its an white/orange structure in the centre.
Now, you’ll have to buy an island with the Permit that you received as a reward. There are islands around the land where you’re currently building.
Check out the nearby islands, and buy one of the green ones. It doesn’t really matter which one you pick here, as all of them have the same type of resources.

Building A Second Basic Core Facility
The bottom area of the first island is pretty much occupied now, so it’s time to head to the top. You’ll find some Polyrock deposits on top.
You can copy most of the stuff from the bottom for the basic core facility. But you may have to make some small adjustments.

Once you’ve set up the second basic core facility, you’ll have to send its output to the processing plant.

Grey Datashards
Now, the processing plant will be producing Grey Processors. You can use these to produce Grey Datashards. Take the output from the processing plant using the harvesting pad.
Build a conveyor from the harvesting pad and pass it through a data center. A data center takes two inputs and one output. You’ll have to put a splitter between the harvesting pad and the data center.

Connect both outputs of the splitter to the data center. Connect the data center’s output to the delivery dock.
You’ll then reach Rank 2, and the Tech Tree will become unlocked. Open the Tech Tree from the top-left corner of the screen.

Upgrading Floors
Select the Grey Building Second Floor, and the Basic Refinery: Blue Pigment option from the Tech Tree.
Next, you’ll have to access the processing plant and upgrade its second floor. Upgrading buildings and unlocking tools from the Tech Tree are done by Grey Datashards, the same item that you’re slowly delivering to the delivery dock.

Wait a while to gather enough Datashards and then upgrade the two basic core facilities. Now, you’ll have to unlock and build a Refinery on the new island with the hexacrystals.

Basic Refinery: Blue Pigment
Here, you’ll have to set up the basic refinery building. It requires three different types of modules. For the first module, set up two furnaces with each one having at least two miners on the Polyrock deposits.
Build a cutter from one of the furnaces. Make the cutter cut the block into four pieces. Pass these pieces through a monotoner and then put a splitter ahead.

Merge the output of the splitter into an assembler. Put the assembler’s output through another splitter and then another assembler. You’ll end up with a board-like module.
Send this module to the refinery, and now you’ll have to focus on the other two modules.

Second Module For The Basic Refinery
Return to the second furnace and build a cutter ahead of it. Cut the blocks into four, and then send the output to an assembler.
Build a splitter ahead of the assembler. Send one conveyor through the monotoner and place another assembler ahead. Merge the monotoned piece and the merged white piece from the previous assembler in this one in the required shape.

You’ll have the second module for the basic refinery. Now, you have to get the third and final module.

Third Module For The Basic Refinery
The third module is the most challenging. You have to place at least two furnaces at first, each connected with two miners. Pass the conveyor from the furnace through a cutter for both. Here, you’ll have to cut the block into four pieces.
Put a second cutter ahead of the first one. Here, you’ll have to cut the pieces into two. Put the output through an assembler, and you’ll end up with one long piece with 16 voxels. Do the same thing with the other furnace, so you’re producing the same piece from another assembler.

Keep in mind that you can flip the blocks inside the assemblers. You’ll need to do that to get the required output.
Pass both pieces through a monotoner and leave it at that for now. You should be getting two rectangular black pieces here.

Now, you have to copy the entire thing, from the two furnaces to the output from the assemblers until the monotoner. Place an assembler ahead to merge the white pieces into one.

Place another assembler ahead. One of the outputs to this new assembler is from the white pieces assembler, and the other one is one of the monotoned pieces from before. You’ll end up with a white piece merged with black on one side.
Now, place another assembler ahead of it, and connect the previous assembler’s output, plus the other monotoned conveyor, to this assembler, and you’ll finally get the third and final module.

Blue Hexacrystals
Now, open the Tech Tree and unlock the extractor. It’s under the Skylines operator category. Place the extractor on a blue hexacrystal deposit on this island.
Send the output to the refinery on a belt. Place a harvesting pad near the refinery and connect the refinery to it.

Now, you have to place the oil rig on the oil deposit on the island. The oil rig has two outputs, so you’ll have to connect both of them to a single conveyor and then place a dye mixer on the other end of it.
The dye mixer has two input slots. Send the oil through one input, and the refined powder through the second output, all the way from the harvesting pad.

Place the painter near the dye mixer, and connect the dye mixer’s output to the painter. This will allow you to complete the current quest, and Module Challenges will become available.
