Monument Valley Walkthrough – Chapter 10, Green Area

Chapter 10

Hub

Familiarize yourself with the controls here. The circular handles at the bottom will rotate the colored tile-blocks on the frame of the cube-like shape. The  other handles, located on top of the frame, will rotate the frame itself.

Begin by going to the blue blocks on the right side of the frame. Rotate the frame (using the upper handles) 90 degrees clockwise. Now rotate the blocks (using the lower handles) 180 degrees counterclockwise.

This allows Ida to walk over to the red tiled-blocks, passing underneath the sitting crow. Send Ida to the red-tiled blocks and then rotate the blocks 180 degrees clockwise. Enter the door here.

Green Area

Rotate the circular handles 180 degrees so that the door to the left is upright. This will cause it to open, along with the door to the right. Go all the way to the top on the white path and stop at the ‘short’ part of the U-shape of the path. While Ida is in the middle of the short side of the path, rotate the circular handles 90 degrees clockwise.

Not move Ida to the very bottom of the white path she is on, into the open door at the bottom of the screen. This puts Ida on a grey path in the middle of the screen.

Once again, align the circular handles so that the left door is upright, and then go through the right door to find yourself emerging from the left door.

Rotate the handles 90 degrees clockwise and step on the white button. This turns on the first light we need to complete the level. Go through the newly-revealed door to return to the hub.
