Moomintroll Winter’s Warmth Walkthrough

Moomintroll is not used to winters, so his surroundings feel challenging to him, and you will help him out in Moomintroll Winter’s Warmth. He also meets several characters who join him in the house.. You will be required to find items for them or help them solve a problem. You will also get into a snowball fight with Little My and help Misabel gain her confidence.

A Creeping Cold House

Go south towards the light and open the window for light. Pick up the matches on the stool. You can light up the room using it.

Grab the doorknob from the desk. Open the door on the west. Light up the lamp in the hallway. Head towards the wind rushing from the window, which you need to close.

Head downstairs to find Moomintroll’s parents. You can’t get in front of it because of the strong wind, so head right and close it from there.

Get inside the door near the lamp. You need to close one window here as well. Open the basement lid in the same room and head down.

You need to gather firewood here to start up the heater. One is near the lamp on the east. Another is on the bench nearby. Head west to find another behind a shelf. Head south from there, and it’s between two boxes. Head right to find the last piece near the barrels.

Head towards the attic upstairs.

A Squirrelly Guest

Go outside from the window. Head west and follow the trail to find the squirrel. You will reach a different area, but all you need to do is follow the thin trail.

You will eventually reach a gap between two cliffs, so you need to find a way around. Just go south, and you will find the trail again. Interact with it lying on the floor.

Lost and Found

Head inside the bathhouse and interact with the cupboard. A sheep will run out with the mittens. Follow the trail till it drops the mittens. You are now able to make snowballs. This will be helpful throughout Moomintroll Winter’s Warmth.

Grab some ice and aim the snowball towards the icicles to break them. Head forward after unblocking your path. Break the giant icicle above the gap so you can cross it. Follow the trail back home.

Go to the entrance of the house to check who is knocking. Follow Too-Ticky. You will reach the bonfire site.

A Neighbourly Visit

Go south of your house, but you need a shovel, which mom keeps in the garden, to clear away the ice. Little My wants to play a game before you can grab the shovel. You need to throw snowballs at her, but she will try to hide behind the snowmen.

The snowmen are breakable if you hit them with the snowballs. Hit her while she is about to hit you or when she is running away, but do it fast. You can also get behind the snowmen she is hiding behind.

Shovel the snow blocking your path south. Then go left to clear more snow and reach Filly Jonk’s house. You need to clear the entrance door covered with snow and icicles.

Go back to your house and clear the way for Filly Jonk. Run outside and shovel the snow in the garden to find the child.

Tears In The Snow

Go outside to find Misabel in distress due to her lost briefcase. After clearing the pile of snow just below, you will find it. Go inside Moominhouse and turn on the lights in different rooms by equipping your matches.

Misabel is hiding inside a cupboard in the lounge.

A New Perspective

The silver plate in the kitchen is gone. Head outside the window. Follow the trail leading west, clearing any snow in your way.

On your way, you will find Little My running west. Go north after clearing the ice. This is the roundabout way to get to the other side. Continue on the trail and climb up the rope when you see it to reach the Mountaintop.

A Crash Course In Gravity

Little My will run again, but you need to carry on the trail. You will find the silver tray in her possession. She will use it as a sledge and slide down. You will see a route up north to catch up with her.

Slide down a few slopes and clear the way to get to the rope leading down. You will find Little My. She won’t return the tray unless you bring her some sticks. You will find one stick south, buried under the snow, just below the tree.

To get the other stick head inside a cave to the south. You will see a stick stuck in some snow, and throw a snowball at it. Give the tray to Misabel.

A Spark Of Confidence

You need to find makeup, a dress and a necklace. Head inside the room with the green door. Interact with the drawer to find the jewellery box key. You will also find Rouge Compact on a shelf nearby. This will do for the makeup.

Head upstairs and you will see a red box in the lounge. Open it using the key, and you will get the necklace. You will find a black fancy dress in the attic.

Sturdier Mittens

Go to the bathing house and meet Too-Ticky. He will give you stronger mittens, which you can use to roll giant snowballs. You then need to meet Little My in the lower pond area.

Catch Me If You Can

The way ahead is blocked in the lower pond. Near the red flag, make a snowball and push it between the cliffs above. Press on forward till you reach a place with a campfire. Move on and slide a few slopes.

Head towards the direction of the tent, and you will meet The Joxter

Camping, The Easy Way

Remove the snow around the camp. You will also find Birch Barks and Nuts around the same area. If you go west, you will find some nut trees, and you can make them fall using snowballs.

You will also run into a birch tree covered in snow around the middle. If you clear the snow, you will find two birch barks. Similar trees are just below this one.

You then need to find Joxter’s cooking pot. He will also teach you Dash so you can break bushes in Moomintroll Winter’s Warmth. You can break the trees blocking your way, leading north. Use a snowball to get the pot from the tree.

Follow Little My again. Go right, and you will find yourself in another snowball fight. Defeat her, and the quest will end.

The Noisy House

Go to the bathing house and meet Hemulen. Apparently, a crow is sitting on his lunchbox, so you need to make it go away by throwing a snowball at it.

Next, a log will be obstructing Hemulen’s way, and he will give you an axe to chop it off. Go to the entrance of Moominhouse after completing the quest.

A Mother’s Worry

Go to the forest to find Fillyjonk’s kids. Follow the footsteps south and break the log here to reach the next area. You will see three trails here leading you to the children.

You will find one of them playing in the snow, so clear it off. Go further east. The second kid is up on a ledge, and to get him off, you need to chop down the tree next to it. The next child is south, and you need to clear the snow again here.

Head back to the bonfire site.

A Howl For Help

Now you need to search for the dog that the children saw. Pile up a giant ball of snow between the ledge to cross it above. The wind in the next area is strong, so you will need to take cover between rocks while it’s blowing. You can guess that it’s going to become stronger when you see a slight mist.

You will find Sorry-oo, and you need to carry it to safety. On your way, you will need to put it down on the ground to use your tools to clear the path.

On your way, you will run into a strong stream of wind. You can block it with a giant snowball.

Road To Recovery

Head to Too-Ticky first to get your axe upgraded. You can break ice blocks with it. Shovel snow in front of the cave in the crossroads and head inside to find medicinal herbs.

Break the obstacles in the cave and head west. You will see a weird creature to follow. You will find a herb in the next area. Skate and go north. Break the large ice here to reveal a herb. Follow the character to the eastern cavern. Shovel ice to find another herb.

Another one is found near a spiky rock in the next area. To get the last herb, you need to chase the shadow a couple of times in the cave. From the cave’s exit, break the tree trunk for a shortcut to Moominhouse.

A Brand New Pack

Sorry-OO needs a friend, so talk to Shadown in the cave again and return to the house. Go to the forest and go north to reach wolf clearing.

Throw snowballs at the eyes of the wolves to make them go away. Now you need to escort Sorry-OO outside the forest. This will be among the longest sequences in Moomintroll Winter’s Warmth, and it might take a couple of tries.

Make sure to keep him under the heat from the matches so he won’t lose health. Leave a task in the middle if the heat bar is about to be depleted.

Hot and Cold

If you are looking for more firewood in Moomintroll Winter’s Warmth, you should do this side quest. In the forest area, climb up the slope, and place the giant snowball between the two cliffs at the highest spot. The stash that Little My hid is just beneath the snow.

Everything’s Ready, Isn’t It?

Head towards the mountain to find Hemulen. Follow the path of the musical notes. Sorry-OO will help you locate him, so just shovel snow till the place he guided you to. You can recognise the lump in the northern area.

Next, you need to find his skis and horn. The dog will find one of the skis in the snow, so you just need to grab it. Next, head towards Mirabel. You need to break bushes here to reveal the horn. It’s in the two bushes on the top. Shadow will find the final ski piece under the snow.

A Fair-Weather Friend

Moomintroll finds himself in a mysterious cave and needs to save Too-Ticky and the Squirrel. Head east into the dark part of the cave, where you will need your matches to explore. Keep walking on the upper path and head east, and then south.

Cross the bridge and move right. Move north at the intersection, then east to get out of here. Make a giant snowball to get to the next area. To cross the windy area, hide behind the ice blocks moving in the water.

Another dark area, but you will be crossing this without matches. Look for a bridge around the first interaction to go south. Then head east till you see another wooden bridge. Navigate around and go east to get out.
