Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for Moonlight Peaks.
You can’t keep on using the same rusty tools, and as you progress in Moonlight Peaks, you will feel the need to upgrade them. You can also recover your Mana with Mana Essence to use more magic spells. Craft a press as well for some essential crafting resources.

How to Get Iron
You will get a recipe for the press which you can use to craft cheese. You need Iron Bars to craft the press. Iron Ore is found in the Cave of Echoes in Misty Shores. You will need better tools to mine it.
Place Cowcula Milk in the press, and it will convert into Cheese. Give it to Viktor and complete the “Cheese, if You Please” quest.
How to Upgrade Tools
You can upgrade tools in Ridge’s shop in the tool menu. You need an ore bar and some cash alongside the tool you want upgraded.
If you want to increase your inventory size, head to Webb of Wonders and purchase an upgrade. Sabrina also sells you more magic to cast with your wand. You can also increase your mana by purchasing Arcane Flame.
How to Earn Money Fast
The items you produce using the tools you have will be your primary source of income. However, you should also check out the job board in town.
The jobs there consist of simple tasks that earn you coins, and sometimes you may even get free items. You can sell those for additional money in Moonlight Peaks.
How to Change Clothes
If you wish to customize your character’s appearance, you can do that by interacting with the mirror in your home. You can purchase more clothes at Third Eye Threads.
How to Grow Herbs
Luna will send you a letter regarding a Herb Garden. She also gives you blueprints for the Herb Drying Rack and Enchanted Mortar, along with a Herb Garden and some Nightshade seeds. She asks for Nightshade Powder for “The Need For Herbs” quest.
First, place your Herb Garden anywhere on the farm. Plant the herb seeds and wait for them to grow while you water them daily. Once they have grown, use your Herb Drying Rack to dry them, and then you need the Enchanted Mortar to crush them into powder.
How to Recover Mana
You get a letter from Sabrina to start the “Quest for Mana” quest, so head to her shop. She asks you for some iron and copper bars. When you hand them over, she will ask you to visit her again the next day.
You will get Mana essence and a blueprint to craft the Mana Extractor. You need Rose Quartz to craft it, which is found in the Crystal Cave in Moonlit Pines. Break the giant boulder next to it using your copper pickaxe.
You can recognize Rose Quartz from its pink nodes, and you can mine them with an Iron Axe. Convert Rose Quartz into Quartz dust in the mortar. Then use the furnace to make it into glass.
You now have everything you need to make a Mana Extractor. Place magical crops inside the extractor to make mana essence, which can restore your mana.
