Explore The Mire

The meeting with the Sprites has inspired Quill to keep going, and that is exactly what she will be doing. Climb the stairs, and the door ahead will be closed. You can move the statue to the square on the right to unlock it.

Pull the door open and go inside. Here, you will find some Sprite statues, and ahead, you will be able to climb up to the door.

You will notice a scroll to your right. You can reach it from the right side of the door, just drop down and you will get it.

Go through the door, and in the next section, there is a puzzle. Start by jumping to the other side and destroying the branch blocking the statue. Next to it, there is a box, move it toward you and climb up the stairs behind it.

This will take you to the button floor. Step on it, and it will lower the platform where you can move the statue to open the gate.

Go through the gate, and you will reach another area where you will be fighting a few enemies. Defeat all of them and then stand on the button south.

This will reveal a lever that you can pull to activate the spiral staircase. You can use it and rotate it however you want to reach the other side.

Move the end of it to the right side so you can jump across, and while you are here, grab the scroll you see north of you. When you are done, move on to the next room.

New Glass Power

Jump across toward the locked gate and climb up. Pull out the box and continue climbing up until you reach the lever. This will spawn an enemy, and a new glass power will be revealed.

You will now be able to control enemies and move them around where needed. It is only one enemy at a time, and you can use them to stand on buttons.

This is exactly what we need to do, but first, pull the box back inside and move the enemy toward the button on the floor. Once the gate opens, you can go through. Do not worry, the enemy will not move after that.

Before you drop down, continue your way to the left side from the lever and cross over. You will be able to reach the scroll we saw earlier.

When you are done here, progress to the next section. This puzzle is a bit more confusing than the previous ones.

You will see two buttons on the floor. If both are activated, the two structures ahead will move in opposite directions: one will rise, while the other will descend.

On the other side, you will see two enemies. You can control one of them to stand on the button, and then Quill can stand on the second one to trigger this action.

Do this one time so the structure on the right side is below. Go there and climb up the stairs, jump to the other side, walk to the left, and activate the lever.

This lever will activate the bridge between the two buttons, allowing you to use both enemies to stand on them so you can climb to the top.

When both enemies are on both buttons, the structure will constantly move up and down, and it is only a matter of timing to make your way to the top.

Once you are at the top, go to the far left and continue forward. In the next room, go through the door north and take the stairs all the way down.

Climb up to the upper floor, and here you will find two floor buttons, a rotating platform, and an enemy on the other side. What we need to do is get the enemy to reach the floor button on the right.

Start by positioning the enemy on the button near it. This will remove the shutters from the bottom floor of the rotating device. Rotate it so both entrances lead to each other, and then move Quill to the other side.

Now move the enemy to the previous button, basically swapping places. The enemy on the right button will remove the shutters from the upper floor of the rotating device, which is exactly what we need.

You will see a window you can jump to. Do that, then take the stairs up to find a third button. Stand on it and then pull the window down to create the platform you need to reach the stairs outside. Now rotate the platform to the right, jump to the other side, and climb up to the next gate.

Unlock The Giant Door

The next room will feature three different paths that you can take:

  • The giant door in front of you cannot be opened yet.
  • There are some glowing green sparks on the left side
  • A staircase taking you down to your right below.

The First Twilight Garden Portal

We were more curious about the green sparks, so we went there first. When you interact with them, they will create a green portal that takes you to a secret location called the Twilight Garden.

Look south toward the lake and pull up the platforms ahead to cross. Here, you will hear some noises from a big monster. A toad will come out of the cave, and Quill seems to recognize it. This was Vada’s steed.

The toad will then open a root door for you, where you can test your skills and obtain a reward. It seems that this is optional and not needed for the main progression, however, it is tied to a trophy.

Complete The Trial

Go through the root door that the toad opened. This room will have three devices that you need to attack in order to open the next door.

The first one is just to your left. The second one is on the far right, just below the door. The last one is underneath and pretty hidden. You can reach it by jumping below the floating platform and looking to your right.

When all three are active, the root will disappear, and you will be able to continue. The next room puzzle is more confusing and requires some thinking, but do not bother with it right now. Just continue to the right.

At the end of this room, you will find a chest. Opening it will award you with a Sprite piece that reveals hidden platforms.

You will know there is a hidden platform when you see floating rocks. Now jump across and go back to the main puzzle room.

As soon as you return, you will notice the hidden platforms again. Use them to reach the lever on the right side and interact with it. This will bring out one of the two statues that you need.

Let us start with moving this statue before getting the second one. You want to get Quill close to it so it reveals the hidden platforms and move it to the south.

Go back to the center button and stand on it so you can get the statue to the lower floor. Now simply move it to the end of this path, and that is it for now.

For the second statue, you need to actually leave this room and go back to the previous one, not where the chest was.

You might have noticed the door northeast but did not know how to reach it. Now you have the hidden platforms to get there.

Go through it, and it will take you back to the main puzzle room, where you will be one jump away from interacting with the lever.

This will reveal the second statue, and you need to follow the same steps as the first one to get the door in the middle to open.

Go through it, and the first test will be completed. Now you can exit the garden and return to the real world.

Obtain The Key To The Giant Door

The next path we will take is through the door below on the right side of the lower floor. This underground room contains two pillars that move up and down, along with three enemies that will be shooting fireballs at you.

What you need to do is reach each one of them and defeat them using these pillars. Only then will the door unlock, allowing you to move on to the next area.

At the center of this section, there are three locked windows with three devices and a rotating platform. Start by rotating the platform to the right, where the stairs are, and interact with the lever there.

This will summon an enemy that we need to control in order to hit the devices since Quill does not have a ranged attack. First, position the enemy at the center of the device, then have Quill stand on the button.

Simply aim and shoot at all three devices, and this will cause the platform to get a higher pillar at the end, allowing you to reach the upper floor.

Rotate it to the left first and go through the door there to unlock a shortcut to the main room where the giant door is. Head back and rotate the device to the right to progress.

Move to the far right side and step on the floor button there to reveal the spiral staircase handle. Pull it up.

Rotate it so you can reach the device on the left side and hit it once. This will lower the rocks ahead and reveal a door.

Jump to the door and follow its path to the lever on the left side. This will remove the bars from the wall so you can easily return here and will also spawn an enemy for you to shoot the devices.

Make sure the platform on the right is at the level where Quill can reach it. Then, have the enemy shoot the device to elevate it, allowing you to reach the door there.

In this small dungeon area, go to the chest and open it. It will grant you the missing piece of the giant door needed to open it. Now backtrack to the center room using the shortcut you unlocked.

First, interact with both statues on the side to set their torches on fire, then place the piece in the middle. This will unlock the door, and you can pull it open to progress.

Exit The Dungeon

The next room requires you to climb up from the right side and take the stairs so you can reach the floor button on top.

Step on it to release a chain, then pull it toward you. This will open the door but also cause multiple waves of enemies to spawn.

Your job here is simple: survive the waves of enemies and defeat all of them. Between each wave, you will need to climb back up to the button and pull the chain. You have to repeat this process three times before you can exit.

Quill has approached the Cavern River, with a wooden plank waiting for you to continue your journey toward Argus.

All of this has made Quill so tired that she decided to set up a camp and rest before continuing her journey to the castle.

All of a sudden, the Wisp has reached Quill again and has now transformed into its real form, a winged bird with horns.

The two of them shared food and enjoyed their company as the night came, until Quill fell into a deep sleep.
