Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough covering Part 2 of Moss: The Forgotten Relic Book 2.
After learning the truth behind the Arcane’s plans, Quill finally understands the full scope of the threat facing the kingdom. With the King’s Glass in danger and the enemy’s ambitions becoming clear, there is no longer any time to waste.
The only plan Quill and Argus can come up with is to gather the Five Glasses and seek the aid of the Sprites. Unfortunately, Vada, the leader of the Sprites, believes Quill is being naive and refuses to get involved. Left with no other choice, Quill and the Reader must continue the journey alone and find a way to stop the Arcane once and for all.

Head To The Greenhouse

The Keeper lives inside the Greenhouse, and you need to find a way inside. Keep following Aderyn until you reach the first room with the blue box.

Pull the box toward you and cross to the other side. Climb on top of it, then move it back to its original position so you can jump across.

Climb up and connect the glowing light-blue flowers to create a bridge, then continue into the next room.

Here, start by growing leaves on the vines to the right so you can climb up. At the top, you will find another set of glowing light-blue flowers. Connect them to the flowers near the floor button.

Stand on the button to summon a Ripper enemy. Once it appears, take control of it and charge its rolling ability, causing it to curl into a ball and move at high speed.

Guide the Ripper into the opening above with the glowing light and send it through the hole. This will unlock the gate on the opposite side.
Now remove the previous bridge and reconnect it to the flowers on the left side so you can cross.

Take the stairs to the right and continue forward. You will encounter several enemies blocking the path, so defeat all enemy waves before moving on. You can use the Ripper’s rolling attack to make the fight much easier.
Continue forward and you will eventually reach the entrance to the Greenhouse.
Reach The Keeper

Inside the first room of the Greenhouse, you will notice a hanging platform that can be moved, but first you need to reach the upper floor.

Destroy the thorn vines to the north and climb upward. Circle around and climb the leaves to reach the broken pillar. Pull the hanging platform toward Quill and jump onto it.
While standing on the platform, move it to the opposite side and jump down. You will notice vines growing on the wall.

Use your ability to grow leaves and climb upward. From here, simply continue forward and go through the northern gate.

In the next room, the gate is blocked, but there is a Ripper and a floor button nearby. Position Quill on the button to open the hole beside the gate.
Then use the Ripper’s charge attack and send it through the opening to unlock the gate and continue onward.
Unlock The New Ability

This room contains a blue crystal on the upper floor. Make your way over to it. Upon reaching it, Quill will hold her sword toward the crystal. Move the cursor over it and hold the prompt.
Doing so will charge the crystal and transfer its power into your sword, granting a brand-new ability. As usual, the game immediately gives you an opportunity to test it.

At the edge of certain platforms, you will notice a blue arrow marker. This indicates where the ability can be used. Keep in mind, however, that future uses will not always be marked this clearly.
Now charge your melee attack until the sword glows blue. Face the next platform and attack to perform a swift dash attack, allowing Quill to quickly cross large gaps.

To backtrack into the previous room, use the dash ability to reach the lever to the north, then activate it to unlock the gate.
Continue Toward The Keeper

Backtrack to the previous room and pull the hanging platform toward Quill. Stand on it and move it all the way to the left, then use your dash ability to reach the opposite side.

The gate ahead is closed, but you can see the lever below it. Simply jump down, as there is no fall damage, activate the lever, then climb back up and continue through.

In the next section, defeat all enemy waves before the path forward becomes available. Once the fight is over, continue into the next puzzle room.
Break The Hex

Start by pulling the box toward Quill and dashing across. Destroy the thorn vines to the north and you will finally spot the giant Hex-protected door.
This door blocks access to the Keeper, so you must find a way to break the Hex.

Head to the right side and grow leaves on the vines to climb upward. Continue to the balcony marked with a blue arrow.

From here, pull the hanging platform toward you, jump onto it, and ride it across to the opposite side. Interact with the lever to unlock the gate below.
Now head back down and stand on the blue box. Move it all the way to the left, then use your dash ability to reach the exit.

The next room contains another combat encounter. Defeat all enemy waves before progressing. Once the fight is over, a Ripper will spawn. Use its charge attack and aim it through the opening to the north.

This removes the bars blocking the central platform, allowing you to pull it upward. Dash to the left side and climb the stairs to reach the exit.
In the next room, destroy the thorn vines and drop down. Make your way across and climb the leaves to reach the upper floor, where you will find a control device.

Activating this device changes the swing direction of the hanging platform from horizontal to vertical, but do not use it yet.
Instead, pull the platform toward you and ride it across to reach the second hanging platform.

From there, jump to the right side and destroy the thorn vines covering the device. Activate it to change the second platform’s movement to vertical, allowing you to reach the lever ahead.

Pull the lever and it will unlock access to the second lever on the lower floor. Drop back down and return to the first device. Activate it so the first platform also moves vertically.

This allows you to reach the second lever, which unlocks the gate leading to the upper floor.

Inside the next room, you will spot a chest on the upper platform. Use your dash ability to reach it. Inside is the item required to break the Hex protecting the Keeper’s door.

Backtrack all the way to the Hex door and insert the item. This will remove the barrier and prepare you for the boss fight against the Keeper.
Defeat The Keeper

The Keeper fight is very similar to the Recast Commander battle from the Twilight Garden in Book 1, although the method for damaging him is different.

Throughout the fight, the Keeper will bombard the arena with projectiles. Fortunately, an indicator appears on the ground to show exactly where each attack will land.

At the same time, waves of enemies will continue to spawn. Your first priority should be to defeat all spawning enemies.

Afterward, a Ripper will appear, and you must use it to eliminate the Scorcher positioned on one of the upper platforms.
Depending on which side the Scorcher appears, climb to the matching button and activate it. Then take control of the Ripper and charge it through the opening to defeat the Scorcher.

Once that phase is complete, the Keeper will move onto one of the platforms, while another Ripper spawns.
Use the exact same strategy. Activate the correct button, open the path, and send the Ripper charging into the target. Repeat this process several times until the Keeper becomes enraged and drops to the ground floor.

At this point, all you need to do is finish him off with direct attacks while continuing to avoid his projectiles.
After defeating the Keeper, don’t forget to give Quill a high-five, then dash through the entrance ahead.

With the Hex removed and the Keeper defeated, the mysterious flaming door beside the Sprite portal will finally become available.
Head To The Mysterious Door

Backtrack all the way to the castle and enter the mysterious door. Aderyn will be waiting for you on the other side.
However, something does not feel right to Quill. She feels as though she has been acting behind her uncle’s back and keeping important secrets from him.

Because of this, she decides to check on Argus before continuing any further. Just as Quill returns to the throne room, disaster strikes.
A giant owl suddenly appears and attacks her. During the struggle, the Glass is knocked from Quill’s possession, and the owl quickly steals it.

Hearing the commotion, Argus rushes in to protect Quill. Unfortunately, the owl attacks again, knocking them both from the platform before disappearing with the Glass.
