Motorslice Walkthrough – Chaper 0 (Arrival) And Chapter 1 (City)

Motorslice is an action-adventure game with parkour as its main highlight. The game also features solid combat mechanics, and your goal is to parkour through massive structures while defeating powerful bosses along the way. For more information, check out its Steam page.

Since the game includes a lot of parkour and some fairly challenging boss fights, you may want a bit of guidance. In this guide, we will walk you through Chapter 0 and Chapter 1, City in Motorslice.

Motorslice – Chapter 0 (Arrival) Walkthrough

As you start the game, you will be introduced to the basic mechanics. The opening section is quite simple, so just follow the on-screen instructions, and you will be fine. During this part, you will learn core mechanics such as smooth landing, wall running, wall climbing, and other movement abilities.

When you encounter two walls positioned side by side and need to cross to the other side, you will have to jump from one wall to the other while running. This allows you to maintain momentum and move forward smoothly. Shortly after, the path ahead will be blocked, so simply attack the obstacle to break it and continue.

Defeat The Enemies

You will then face your first enemy. Lock on to the target and begin attacking. The camera angle may feel a little awkward at first, but you will get used to it quickly, so there is no need to worry. After defeating the first enemy, continue forward, and you will encounter two more. You can roll during combat, so make sure to use this ability to dodge incoming attacks and avoid taking damage.

Once you defeat the enemies, proceed ahead and perform a wall jump to continue. Soon after, you will come across a crack in the wall that you can use to climb. Climb up the crack, move to the right, and then jump upward. Continue climbing and jump again to reach the top.

Continue Progressing

From here, head to the left and run along the wall to reach another crack that provides stability. Use it to descend, then move to the right. Go down again, release your grip, and drop to the ground below. After landing, head left, jump down carefully, and turn on your flashlight to see clearly.

Next, you will need to climb a series of platforms. Start by heading left and jumping onto the first platform, then jump to the right. Continue upward, then move left again. Ahead, you will encounter a crane that will attack you. You can parry its attack by timing your input correctly. When the crane glows, press the attack button to successfully parry.

A single successful parry is enough to disable the crane and unlock a new path. Use the crane to your advantage by jumping onto the platform that collides with it. Then climb upward using the tall yellow structure and continue parkouring through the environment.

Concluding The Epilogue

After that, head left and go up the stairs. Along the way, you will find a lost drone. Continue forward and slide through the narrow passage to progress. Here, you will be introduced to the motorslicing mechanic, which feels very satisfying to use. Move ahead, and this will conclude Chapter 0 and transition you into Chapter 1, City in Motorslice.

Motorslice – Chapter 1 (City) Walkthrough

As Chapter 1, City starts in Motorslice, you will have to choose between two options. Select either one, then go straight ahead to make your way into the Megastructure area. Turn on your flashlight and pass the mini parkour section. It will be pretty easy, so do not worry and just go through it. When you reach a dead end, on the left side, there will be a yellow wheel that you can rotate to open the path for yourself.

Then go ahead, and an enemy will appear. Defeat the enemy, and on the other side of the building, there will be an orb drone. Interact with it and then head up the stairs. Once you are at the top, deploy the drone and go ahead. Head up more stairs and then go left to enter through the yellow door.

Explore The City

You now have to explore the city area in Motorslice Chapter 1. On the right side, you can slack off, so when you are done, start progressing by crossing a small parkour section. There will be two enemies ahead, so be careful and take them both out.

Remember that you can parry their attacks too. After defeating them, on the left side, by performing some parkour, you can get an orb drone. You will have to head to the upper left side of the area. There is another drone on the right side of the area. So now to continue progressing, you will have to make your way to the north to get two more orbs.

Before getting those two orbs, after passing the containers, head left, and there will be one more orb. Collect that, head back, and go left. Now head north to get another orb first. Then head back, and instead of going up from the right side, head left. Run on the wall to go to the other side to get one more orb.

Progress Further After Collecting The Orbs

Now that you have the orbs, you need to head back and climb the orange container to deploy all of the orbs. Then head up the big orange platform you see to continue progressing. To continue going ahead, you need to go to the right side, but there is another orb to the left.

So get that first and then continue progressing. Ahead will be two more enemies, and here you will be introduced to a charged attack. Defeat the enemies, head left to get an orb, and then go right. Then head up the yellow pole and perform parkour to go ahead and fight some more enemies.

Defeat The Enemies And Continue Progressing

There are going to be two enemies, so defeat them and go ahead to perform a motorslice. Along the way, your orbs will be deployed, so keep going ahead. Then you will have to go up using the crack in the wall. Go up, jump to the right, go up again, jump to the left to pick up the drone, and then wall jump to the crack on the left.

From there, go down, release your grip to grab another part of the crack below, then go a little left and drop to land on a yellow pipe. Then cross the parkour section ahead. It is not going to be difficult, as you will have to move along the cracks and the yellow pipes. At the end, perform a wall run, and when the parkour section ends, you will deploy the orb you have.

So now from there, wall run to the right, defeat the enemy, drop down, go ahead, defeat four more enemies, and then climb the white object to motorslice your way ahead in Chapter 1, City. Then progress further using the yellow pipes and enter through the orange door ahead.

Clear The Parkour Sections And Continue Progressing

You will then slide down and have to jump at the end of the path. Then go ahead and drop onto the platform, and you will now have to cross this parkour section. Go ahead and slide through the first one, and then you will notice the platform on the left side closes.

So when it opens, you will have to instantly jump on it and make your way to the platform on the right side. Then on the left, there will be three similar platforms. Once the first one opens, jump and make your way ahead. You will have more than enough time to cross the platforms, so do not worry.

Then slide through any of the two platforms ahead and continue. After that, jump onto the wall on the left, go up a little, and then jump back to climb the platform. From there, proceed ahead and jump at the end of the slide. Ahead, you will see some white objects that you can interact with. You need to attack them and bring them to the left side near the orange object.

Move The Object And Perform Wall Climb Action

Then climb the object and perform a wall climb. After climbing the object, climb the wall in front of you and then jump backward to climb the wall on the backside. Using this technique, go up and then, using the yellow objects on the right, go ahead.

You need to be in the middle of them to get an orb along the way. When you have the orb, head back, step into the triangle to deploy the orb, and then go right to perform a motorslice. Then go up the stairs, head out of the door, and go up from the backside to get an orb.

Collect More Orbs

After that, parkour to make your way ahead, and after climbing the wall, go ahead, but do not get on the yellow pipes. Head left to get an orb. Do not perform motorslice for now, as you need to get the orb first and deploy the ones you have. Now head back, and along the way, you will get one orb. You need to go back all the way to the door. Now, from where you got the first orb in this area, on the back side of the place, there is the deployment triangle.

Now head back and perform the motorslice. However, before you do, you can slack off near the plant. Slack off for a unique interaction and then perform the motorslice. Then continue ahead to fight some enemies.

Defeat The Enemies

You can perform the VR scan to see where the enemies are, so do that first and then go ahead to defeat them. This way, you can also see where the orbs are. There is one in this area on the right side, which you can collect later on. After defeating the first enemy, go ahead, and at the end of the path on the left side, you will notice a pitch-black area you can enter.

Go inside, turn on the flashlight, defeat the enemy, pick up the orb, and then head out from the left side to continue progressing. After getting out, head left to interact with the yellow wheel to rotate it. Then parkour your way ahead and use the crack in the wall to proceed.

Continue Progressing

Keep in mind you need to go up, so use the cracks to do so. At the top, there will be two enemies. Defeat them both, go ahead, and deploy your orbs on the right side. Then head onto the pipe and drop onto another one. Then go ahead, turn right, and run on the wall to use the crack to go down.

Then head left, and when you reach the end of the crack on the left side, go up to get an orb. Then you will notice another crack, so use that to go right, drop down, use the crack below to go further right, and then go up to deploy your orb. From there, go ahead, and at the end of the path, turn right to perform a motorslice in Chapter 1, City.

Then head right, follow the path ahead, go left, head backward, defeat the enemy, and then go down the stairs. Once you are at the bottom, defeat two enemies and then go through the orange door. After that, cross the small parkour section, head back up the stairs, and on the opposite side, there will be an orb.

Ahead of the stairs on the left side will be the deployment triangle. After the deployment, head right to go up the stairs and then motorslice your way ahead.

Cross The Parkour Sections

After motorslicing your way ahead, go left and use the poles to proceed. Do remember that near the pole at the backside, there is an orb, so you will need to head left a little and turn back from the second pole to get it. However, you can skip it if you want to.

After crossing the pole section, go up the stairs, and there will be another challenge. When the rotating side turns into a platform, immediately run to the other side. Then perform the wall run and jump onto the other wall to proceed. Then go ahead, and on the left side, you will notice some holes in the wall.

Slack off there for a unique interaction. After that, head right to get an orb and then jump backward to use the crack to go up. Then go right to proceed, or you can go left first to deploy the orb. Then go ahead and wait for the platforms to appear on the right side, and as they do, perform a wall run. By then, the left side will also be safe to perform a wall run on.

After that, go through the orange door, go ahead, head up the stairs, and there will be the first boss of the game.

Defeat The Boss

As the truck is attacking you, you can perform an attack on the front black tires to parry it, but that can be tricky. You can roll to the right side to go under it and then run to the yellow sharp object you see. After that, jump on it and then go up. You can only climb the one on the left side first and then jump to the others to proceed.

So go ahead, slide, and on the opposite side, jump, and then jump onto the pipe. After that, jump onto the other pipe ahead and move to the right side. Then jump onto the opposite side and perform a motorslice. After that, motorslice to the right, slide down, go ahead, and motorslice upward.

Then go ahead, motorslice to the right, drop down, motorslice again to the right, jump up, motorslice upward again, and ahead will be the main target. You have motorsliced all of the targets except this one. However, as you go up, the platform will lift, and you will fall off. So, run to the last target and jump on it. Then wait for the platform to settle and perform a 360 motorslice to defeat the boss of Chapter 1, City.

Go Ahead To Conclude The Chapter After Defeating The Boss

Now that you have defeated the boss, the locked path will be opened, so go there, follow the path ahead, and motorslice your way to the top. You can slack off there if you want. With that, Chapter 1 of Motorslice, City, along with this walkthrough, comes to an end.
