Motorslice Walkthrough – Chapter 2 (Canal) And 3 (Falls)

Motorslice is an action-adventure game featuring a strong focus on parkour. In this game, you not only have to perform parkour to clear sections, but you also need to use parkour to defeat bosses. That makes the experience very fun and engaging. For more information, head over to its Steam page.

As this game features a lot of parkour sections and boss fights, you may want some assistance on how to proceed in certain areas. So, in this guide, we will provide you with a complete walkthrough of Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 in Motorslice.

Motorslice – Chapter 2 (Canal) Walkthrough

Once you have completed Chapter 1, go ahead and cross the long path and open the door to start Chapter 2 in Motorslice. After that, you will have to cross a short parkour section. Do so, and a new type of enemy will appear. This enemy can attack you from long range, so you will need to dodge its projectiles.

Simply dodge the attacks and close the distance to defeat the enemy. Once you have done that, the path ahead will be unlocked, so continue moving forward. However, do note that there is an orb under the stairs. Make sure to pick it up before leaving. You can also deploy it in the same area, and once done, head up using the wall climb.

Perform Parkour To Go Up

After that, perform a wall run and use the yellow poles to continue moving ahead. You need to reach the crack in the wall, which will help you climb up. Then jump onto the yellow object and then onto the platform. Ahead, you can motorslice your way up. Do so, and then swing on the pole ahead.

Move left and drop down to continue progressing. Then, using the pole again, head to the platform ahead and jump onto the upper platform. Ahead, there will be an enemy. When it shoots a projectile toward you, attack right as it is about to hit you to parry it. This will cause the projectile to hit the enemy instead. Then go ahead and follow the path to the right.

Slack Off And Then Explore The Canal

Keep moving forward, and eventually you will reach an orange door. Open it, and ahead of you will get the option to slack off. Do so, and P will take a snack break. Then continue forward, as you now have to progress through the Canal area. It may look like you can jump onto the platforms, but you cannot, so use the walls on the sides to reach them.

Continue moving ahead, and you will encounter some enemies. Take care of them, and then, before you motorslice your way up, pick up the orb on the right side. When you reach the top using motorslice, jump to the backside to grab the pole. Then move forward, make your way to the left side, slide down, and reach the large stairs.

Move ahead, attack to proceed, crouch to go right, turn on the flashlight, and then head right by performing a wall run. There, you will find two orbs, so collect them, head back, and deploy them. After that, instead of going right, go left. Proceed forward and continue left. Attack again to move ahead.

Continue forward to get another orb, and along the way, the last red door will open. It will also contain an orb. After that, head right from the last section and slide down to collect another orb. Then follow the path to the right, motorslice your way up again, go left, deploy the orbs, and continue moving left.

Continue Clearing The Parkour Sections

Along the way, there will be two enemies. You can parry their attacks to defeat them. Then continue following the path, and when you enter the building, do not slow down, as you will be crushed if you hesitate. Quickly move forward and defeat the enemies.

After defeating them, head left. Before going further, climb the white pillar on the left and get on top of the white pipes. Then move ahead to collect an orb. Head back to deploy it, and then at the end of the path, go left. Down the stairs, there will be another orb. After that, motorslice your way forward to progress further in Chapter 2.

Collect The Remaining Orbs

Go back up to deploy the orb and then follow the path ahead. However, stop in the middle and turn the handle on the left. This will open the path ahead, so go there and open the orange door. Continue forward, and you will need to climb using the walls. There, you will find another orb, so collect it and move up again. After that, you will have to fight some enemies.

To defeat long-range enemies more safely, you should attack right after parrying their projectiles. Then head right, clear the parkour section to collect another orb, and drop down to find a deployment triangle just ahead. After that, head right, and at the end of the path, you will notice some yellowish structures.

Defeat The Enemies And Deploy The Orbs

Go there to slack off, then continue with the parkour section ahead. Defeat the enemies, move forward, and head down the path. Attack the trap to stop it temporarily so you can pick up the orb. Then, head back up the path to collect another orb. After that, drop down to the other path, deploy the orbs, and turn the handle ahead.

Now head back, go left to collect another orb, deploy it as well, then head down the path and jump to the left. Head left, follow the path, climb the wall on the left, defeat the enemies, and clear the parkour section. Do note that, while being on the top of the yellow pole, you will be attacked by some enemies, so make sure to parry.

Then follow the path ahead, defeat one more enemy, and motorslice your way up the platform to get another orb. Then run in the opposite direction and jump onto the next platform. After that, drop from the platform, climb left, use the crack in the wall to go up, and then jump in the opposite direction.

Keep Moving Ahead

As you move ahead, a cutscene will begin. Once it ends, continue forward, and before the steel mesh gate ahead, turn right and use the crack in the wall to go down, then head right. From there, you need to wall run to the right side and then jump onto the platform ahead.

Go ahead, collect the orb on the left side, and then drop into the dark room to get another orb. Use the cracks and yellow poles to climb back up. Then go ahead, turn left, and use the cracks to go down. Previously, you went right to collect the orbs, but this time, simply continue downward.

You will also have to move left, and when the crack on the left ends, make sure to go up to deploy the drones. Then continue heading down until you reach the platform at the bottom. Slide down, use the platforms to move ahead, and then use the cracks to move right. When you reach the top of the crack, continue forward and go through the orange door.

Slack Off – Language

Ahead will be an area where P can slack off, and the Language pop-up will appear. Once it ends, go ahead and jump onto the platform from the industrial pipe, then head left to collect an orb. You will need to use the cracks to move ahead. Then come back, and to the left of the pipe, there will be a wall you can climb.

Use that wall to deploy the orb on the right side, then climb it again, but this time jump in the opposite direction. Then motorslice your way ahead and slide through the area to continue progressing in Chapter 2. Ahead will be a trap that you need to parry, as doing so may unlock an achievement if you do not already have it.

Then go ahead, move the white object on the left side forward, and use it to continue.

Clear The Parkour Section

Ahead will be a mini parkour section with yellow poles. It will be pretty easy to clear. After that, travel along the industrial pipe and climb the white objects to get an orb. You will then see a structure attached to the ground. Ahead of it is another orb that you can collect by pushing a white object toward it.

Then head back to the industrial pipe and drop onto the one on the right side to deploy the orbs. After that, move in the opposite direction, follow the path ahead, clear the obstacle course, and when you reach a dead end, head right through the orange door.

Move The White Object

On the left side, there will be a white object that you need to move in the opposite direction. Make sure it is touching the wall on the right side so it falls onto the platform. Then drop down and continue pushing it forward. When you see a pattern on the wall to the right, stop there and use the object to climb, and use the crack in the wall to go right for an orb.

Along this path, you will get two orbs, so deploy them and then motorslice your way ahead. Then use the yellow pole to continue. However, do note that there is an orb at the bottom near the pole along the lower path. You can ignore it if you want, as the natural progression path is upward.

Keep moving ahead and go through the narrow passage. Then a cutscene will trigger, and the boss of Chapter 2 will arrive.

Defeat The Boss Of Chapter 2 In Motorslice

This boss will throw projectiles at you, so you need to parry them. You may not be able to throw back every projectile, as only some of them can be reflected with proper timing. When successful, a special animation will trigger, and you will need to spam the attack button to perform a smash attack.

After doing that, the boss will be stunned, and you will need to immediately close the distance and attack the black strips. Parry another projectile, and the boss will be stunned again. Use this opportunity to damage it and repeat the process one more time.

However, keep in mind that simply attacking the black strips is not enough. Attacking them deals massive damage, but behind the strips is the area where you can perform a motorslice. So when normal attacks stop dealing much damage, perform the motorslice instead.

Then a scripted event will occur, and the boss will start moving. When that happens, look where it is heading and run to the platform ahead. Then jump and perform a motorslice on it to finish off the boss of Chapter 2.

Head To The Area You Just Unlocked

Now head to the area you unlocked after defeating the boss and motorslice your way ahead. With that, Chapter 2 in Motorslice will come to an end.

Motorslice – Chapter 3 Walkthrough

Once you have finished Chapter 2, go along the path, slack off, and continue ahead to start Chapter 3 in Motorslice. Then you need to follow the path ahead, go up the stairs, and make sure your flashlight is on. After that, perform a wall run, continue ahead, and slide through the right side to continue progressing.

After that, use the pole to go to the other side, turn the yellow wheel handle, and then immediately grab the pole as it will rise upward. When it goes up, jump onto the pole ahead and then jump onto the next one. Then jump to use the crack in the wall. Head upward and then perform a wall run to the right.

Now, to proceed further, you need to go left, but you can collect the orb on the right side first by performing some parkour.

Prevent The Trap

Follow the path ahead, go through the vent, and when you break the last pipes to exit the vent, move ahead a little and then hug the wall on the right side, as a truck will crash straight into the wall ahead. Then perform a motorslice on the truck, and when it is destroyed, the path ahead will open. So climb over the truck to continue ahead.

Now go ahead, motorslice your way upward, go through the orange door, perform a wall run, grab the yellow pole, and you will reach the Falls area.

Clear The Falls Area

Head up the stairs and then go left to slack off. After slacking off, head toward the northwest area and motorslice your way from the left side to the right side. Then head left, and there will be an enemy on the right side. Defeat it and then head left to find another enemy.

This is the same machine that you previously destroyed using motorslice, so do the same thing again, but wait for it to crash first. Destroy the machine, and if a second one arrives, deal with it the same way. However, if it does not come close to you, you can scan it using the VR vision and then destroy it.

Destroy Rest Of The Machines

There is going to be one more small machine on the left side, so defeat it as well, and then head north and slightly toward the west side to find a large hole in the wall. Head inside, jump, perform a motorslice, and then defeat the enemy inside. After that, motorslice your way back out.

When you get outside, on top of the platform behind you, there will be two enemies. They will throw projectiles at you, so make sure to parry them. Then scan the area to locate more enemies below. There will most likely be another enemy on the northwest side while you are facing away from the hole.

Then, using the pillar and wall near the hole, make your way up to the platform above. From there, reach the top and slack off.

Continue Ahead After Slacking Off

You will then notice the yellow object. Head down from there and continue along the path to reach the pole for another parkour section. Then jump onto the orange container and head toward the stairs on the right side. Go up, perform a wall run, use the poles to continue ahead, perform wall jumps to move upward across the poles, and then wall run to the left to reach the pole ahead.

Clear The Obstacle Course

Then follow the path ahead, and a short cutscene will begin. After that, head through the orange door, avoid getting hit by the trap, and turn the wheel handle on the left side. Once you turn the handle, you will fall and begin sliding downward. There will be many obstacles along the way, and you need to avoid all of them.

At one point, you will have to perform a wall run to reach the other side. Once you have cleared the obstacle course, head left and then go up the stairs.

Make Your Way Up

Don’t go all the way up, as along the way go right and right again to find a staircase leading upward. On the right side, there will be an orb, so pick it up and then continue heading north. You do not have to go all the way up, as you will need to jump to the right, move ahead, and perform a wall climb to continue upward.

Ahead, you will need to avoid getting hit by another trap, and do note that there is an orb in between the traps. You can ignore it and continue through the orange door. After that, motorslice your way ahead, jump onto the yellow pole, perform a wall run, and then perform another motorslice to progress in Chapter 3.

Defeat The Enemies

Use the VR vision to locate and defeat all of the enemies in the area. There are going to be five enemies in total, and once you have defeated them, you need to head to the north side. Go up the stairs, follow the path ahead, defeat the enemies along the path, and when you see the one throwing projectiles, parry its attacks to defeat it, and then head left.

Use The Cracks To Go Ahead

There, you will need to defeat another enemy and then head to the opposite side to perform a wall jump. Then use the crack to climb upward, and after that, use the other crack to head left and then upward again. Then perform a wall run in the opposite direction to reach another crack.

Then continue ahead, jump to the right, perform a wall run, and then let P fall downward. After that, follow the path ahead, clear the obstacle course, and head right. Then perform another wall run to reach the crack. From there, go upward, wall run again, and then use another crack to continue climbing.

When you reach the top, head left, perform a wall run to reach another crack, and then start dropping downward. From there, follow the path ahead and, after sliding, jump and perform another wall run. Then head left and then right. After that, use the motorslice and poles to continue ahead.

Defeat More Enemies

After going up the stairs, head left and defeat the enemies. Defeat the aggressive one first, and then there will be three more enemies at the bottom. Defeat them, go back up, and from the right side, use the yellow poles to continue ahead.

Defeat the enemies, move ahead, and then fall onto the staircase. Then head up the stairs, drop onto the stairs below, head downward, perform a wall run, continue ahead, and perform another wall run to use the poles to move forward. After that, use the crack in the wall to go downward and then jump. Ahead will be an area where you can slack off.

Defeat The Enemies And Then Perform A Motorslice

After slacking off, move ahead and defeat the enemies. Once you have done that, perform a motorslice, and when you reach the top, go in the opposite direction and through the orange door. Continue ahead, and the boss of Chapter 3 will appear.

Defeat The Boss Of Chapter 3 In Motorslice

Do not worry too much about closing the distance, as you eventually need to get close to the boss to defeat it. So stay clear of its attacks, and when it slams its left foot onto the ground, that is your chance to climb it and perform a motorslice on its leg.

When you reach the top, slide down, but wait for it to slam its foot again. Then go ahead, climb upward, and you will find your next target. Perform a full 360 rotational motorslice on it and then use the pole to go upward.

After that, jump onto the pole and perform a series of wall jumps. Then continue climbing the boss, perform a wall run, and execute another motorslice.

Wait for the platform to settle and then perform a wall run. After that, use the pole to continue ahead, slide down, perform one more motorslice, and the boss of chapter 3 will finally go down.

Go Through The Unlocked Area

After defeating the boss, the path ahead will unlock, so go ahead and slack off. With that, Chapter 3 in Motorslice will be over.
