Motorslice Walkthrough – Chapter 4 (Overpass), 5 (Pillars), & 6 (Rig)

Motorslice is an action-adventure game focused mainly on parkour. The game features a pretty impressive level design, and you have to figure out where to go and how to progress through each area. For more information, head over to its Steam page.

As this game does not always tell you where you have to go, and clearing some parkour areas can be a bit challenging, the experience can sometimes become frustrating. So, here in this guide, we will provide you with a walkthrough of Chapters 4, 5, and 6 in Motorslice, along with how to defeat the bosses of each chapter.

Motorslice – Chapter 4 (Overpass) Walkthrough

After you have finished the third chapter, go ahead and go through the orange door to start Chapter 4 in Motorslice. Ahead, there are going to be mines on the floor, so you need to avoid getting hit by them. Go ahead and start making your way downward. The structure is not that complex, and you will be able to descend fairly easily.

When you reach the second last platform, or when you can see the entrance on the left side, that is where you need to stop going down. From there, move ahead, perform a wall run, and make your way through the entrance. Then, using the new swap technique, motorslice your way upward and avoid getting hit by the mines.

After that, motorslice your way around the area and continue ahead in Motorslice Chapter 4. Ahead will be a pretty large motorslice section, so clear it to reach the orange door. After entering from the left side, move the dumpster ahead to continue progressing.

Explore The Overpass Area

Ahead will be some enemies that you need to defeat. The mines can also be exploded by the enemies, so be careful while fighting them. When you have cleared out the enemies at the bottom, head upward using wall jumps to take out the last one. After defeating the enemy, head back and then go right.

There is going to be another enemy that you need to deal with. Use the wall jump ability to avoid getting attacked and then defeat it. After that, climb the roller to go upward and destroy the remaining motors.

Slack Off – Break

There are going to be plenty of mines ahead, and when it seems like you cannot go any further, head back a little and climb onto the containers. There are going to be two grey containers and one orange container. From there, drop onto the industrial pipes and slack off. Then head through the orange door, use the yellow pipes to reach the crack in the wall, and climb upward.

Then head right and move downward. Once you are at the bottom of the crack, go right, head upward, go right again, upward once more, then left, upward again, right, upward, and then jump onto the yellow pole to continue ahead.

Now you do not have to enter the tentacle area, so from there, wall run to the right and use the poles to move ahead. Then, motorslice all the way through the section, and you will reach another slack-off area in Motorslice, Chapter 4.

Slack Off – Hair

After you are done slacking off, continue ahead while defeating enemies and avoiding the mines along the way. Do note that on the right side, there are going to be two rollers that you need to destroy in order to proceed further. So take care of them and continue along the path ahead.

As you continue forward, there will be two enemies. Parry their attacks and defeat them. Then drop down and deal with the enemies on the right side. After defeating them, perform wall jumps to go upward and destroy the roller. Then head up the stairs and use the poles to proceed.

Then head left and follow the path to the right. Head upward, use the broken forklifts to climb the wall, and then go through the orange doors. After that, slide down, climb upward along the path, perform a wall run, and then wall run on the right side to continue progressing. From there, head right and then jump onto the stairs to move upward.

Continue Moving Ahead

When you are at the top, head slightly to the right and then right again to drop onto the industrial pipe. Then head up the staircases, and when you reach the top, use the crack in the wall to move right. When the crack on the right side ends, head downward, wall run to the right, and then use the crack to climb upward.

After that, you will face the boss of Chapter 4.

Defeat The Boss Of Chapter 4 In Motorslice

This fight is going to be quite tricky, as you need to get on top of the machine. In order to do that, hang onto the pole in the middle, and when the boss has almost moved past you, jump and motorslice behind it to climb upward. However, that may be difficult to do, so instead, you can wait for the crane to hit the ground and motorslice the third one. This is also a target and will allow you to go to the top.

At the top, you can motorslice four different areas, so destroy all of them and then drop from the front side, but make sure you are ready to motorslice the section at the front as well to damage the boss in Motorslice Chapter 4.

Drop from the right side and make your way to the left so you can clear the entire section in one go. Then you will finally defeat the boss. However, if you cannot find the fourth target on the top, which is the bar at the far left side, then focus on the one near the bottom first.

That section also has another part attached at the top. Now, not all three sections can be motorsliced, but the first one from the backside can be. So perform motorslice on it a couple of times, and you will be good to go.

Head Through The Unlocked Path

Then go to the area that has just unlocked and perform a wall run to use the crack to climb upward, and then move left. After that, continue ahead and use the crack to go upward again, then slack off. Finally, motorslice your way up the grassy area, and with that, Chapter 4 in Motorslice will come to an end.

Motorslice – Chapter 5 (Pillars) Walkthrough

As you move ahead from the grass area, a cutscene will begin in the middle of the path. Once it ends, continue forward. You need to avoid triggering the mines by using the poles to go ahead. So, head toward the northeast side. After that, move ahead, perform wall jumps, and then go through the orange door.

Explore The Pillars Area

As you continue ahead a little further, another cutscene will commence. When the cutscene is over, slack off ahead and then continue moving. After that, defeat the enemy ahead, and you will now need to head right. Before going right, head north, and when you reach a dead end, go right and use the pole to proceed.

After that, destroy all of the machines in the area, and once you are done, head up the stairs, perform a wall run, avoid activating the mines, and perform a motorslice to progress further in chapter 5. You can now slow down while motorslicing, so use that mechanic to avoid getting hit by traps or mines. Once you are at the top, dodge all of the traps and then use the yellow pole to proceed.

Then go down and jump onto the first path you see. From there, avoid getting hit by the traps and go up the stairs while defeating the enemies. After that, go through the orange door and slack off.

Slack Off – Holes 2

After you are done slacking off, go ahead and travel across the pipes. When you reach the cracks, continue forward and make sure not to get hit by the traps. You will need to be a little strategic here, as you will have to move around the traps to proceed, and sometimes you will even need to let go of the upper crack to grab the one below it.

Continue progressing until you land on a platform, and when that happens, head down the platforms. Once you are at the bottom platform, use the cracks to move further ahead. When you reach the bottom, go through the orange door and continue ahead.

Defeat The Enemies

Head down the stairs, and there are going to be two enemies ahead. Parry their attacks and then immediately attack to defeat them. Then it will not be possible to move along the path ahead normally, as there is a mine blocking the way, and you will not be able to avoid it easily. So, attack the concrete mixer toward that direction and use it to trigger the mine safely.

Then, continue ahead and defeat a few more enemies. Once you have defeated them, go up using the cracks and then climb the platforms. When you reach a dead end, head right and go through the orange door.

Then avoid the traps ahead and make sure to perform a proper wall run until you reach the section where you can motorslice in chapter 5. Once you are done motorslicing, perform another wall run, and when you are sliding, make sure to jump at the end.

Then continue ahead and use the poles and cracks to climb upward. When you reach a dead end while using the crack, look for the platform you need to land on after letting go. From there, continue progressing using the yellow rods and then jump to use the crack and reach the platform ahead.

Continue Making Your Way Ahead

After that, continue ahead and slack off. Once you are done slacking off, head upward using the cracks and then follow the path for a little while. After that, drop onto the path on the left and continue ahead to find the boss of Chapter 5.

Defeat The Boss Of Chapter 5 In Motorslice

This boss will not activate immediately, so you will need to go near it first. Once you approach it, a cutscene will begin, and the industrial excavator will activate. You now have to defeat it, so start by performing a motorslice on the tracks on the right side and then head to the other side to do the same. To perform a motorslice, lead the boss to the pillars, and upon hitting a pillar, it will stun.

To climb this boss, you will need to take a bit of a risk. Getting directly in front of the excavator is dangerous because it performs heavy slam attacks. So wait for it to perform a few attacks, and when it slams both of its arms or buckets into the ground, that is your chance to perform a motorslice on either one of them.

Doing this will also allow you to reach the top. There is a target at the top, so perform a motorslice there, and then you will have to jump down and perform another motorslice on the upper right or left side of the excavator.

After that, you will be back on the ground again, so wait for it to perform the slam attack once more. Then motorslice your way upward and destroy the second area as well.

Now only one final part remains, and that is located inside the excavator. You may have noticed a small entrance on the upper sides of the excavator that you can enter by crouching. So head there and drop down to find the final target. Perform a motorslice on it, and the boss will be defeated.

Head To The Opened Path

Now go ahead, motorslice a little to climb upward into the grass area, and then slack off. With that, Chapter 5 in Motorslice will be over.

Motorslice – Chapter 6 (Rig) Walkthrough

After you have finished Chapter 5, go through the orange door and then move ahead to defeat the enemies. Locate them using the VR vision and then continue forward. When you reach the other side, run while staying close to the industrial fan so you do not get blown off the platform.

After that, continue ahead, and even if the air is pushing you back, do not worry about it and keep moving forward. Then go through the orange door, and a short cutscene will begin.

Explore The Rig Area

After the cutscene, continue ahead and avoid activating the mines. Perform wall runs to move forward and then continue progressing. Then use the air current to move ahead and follow the path to the right. After that, perform a wall run to continue and use the air again to move further and grab the pole.

Then grab the second pole, perform a wall run, and execute a motorslice in chapter 6. When you reach the top, head right to slack off and then continue along the path ahead. Make sure not to fall into the gap between the platforms.

Move ahead, defeat the enemies, and then the path ahead will unlock. Follow the path, go up the stairs, take a U-turn, and then jump onto the platform on the left side.

After that, continue ahead a little and then jump onto the platform on your left side to go up the stairs. Then take another U-turn, use the poles to move ahead, and continue following the path.

Defeat The Enemies

Make sure you have turned on your flashlight as you enter the dark area. From there, head right, continue ahead, and enter the area on the left to defeat an enemy. Then exit through the left side, go right, and drop through the passage on the left.

There are going to be some enemies ahead that you can reach by using the air from the industrial fan. Defeat the enemies and then head upward using wall jumps. Then use the wall jump and the pole to continue climbing upward.

There is going to be another enemy ahead, so defeat it, and the path ahead will unlock. Follow the path ahead and attack the tires to make the orange door visible.

Clear The Obstacle Course

Go through the orange door, and ahead, there will be an obstacle course that you need to clear. You do not need to do anything for the first trap, so let it pass naturally. However, for the second trap, you will have to perform a wall jump to avoid getting hit.

Then simply crouch to avoid the next trap. After that, clear the remaining traps, which are going to be a little difficult, but after a few attempts, they will become much easier to handle.

Once you have cleared the obstacle course, the door ahead will open, so go through it and then pass through the next orange door. Continue ahead and defeat the enemy.

Attack the enemy while in the air and then jump again to perform a double jump. Use the same technique to continue forward, and then there will be some more enemies that you need to defeat.

Destroy The Rollers

There are going to be two rollers, so bait them into crashing into the wall ahead and then perform motorslice on them to destroy both. Once done, climb over them to reach the platform above and then defeat the enemy ahead.

Then head left and take another left. Ahead will be a place where you can slack off. Do so and then continue on your way. Do remember that you can slow down the motorslice, as that will help you progress more safely through this area in chapter 6. After passing the obstacles, go a little left and then head upward. After that, go through a few orange doors.

Then parkour your way ahead while defeating the enemies along the way. You will need to attack the enemies mid-air to gain extra jumps. Using this technique, you will be able to reach the other side. Ahead will be more enemies, so defeat them and then continue further.

Fall onto the pole, then drop again, and when you get near the bottom, jump and perform a motorslice to go right and then upward.

Continue Ahead

Then go through the orange door, break the pipes to free the white object, and then move it in the opposite direction to climb the wall. After that, perform a wall run in the opposite direction and then head right.

Use the air currents and the pipes to continue ahead, and make sure to attack enemies while in mid-air so you can jump further. Then perform a wall jump and clear the mini obstacle course. You simply need to navigate P safely through the area.

Then avoid the traps and continue ahead. The next section will be a little tricky, as you will need to be precise with your jumps. That said, you can attack some white objects to throw them onto the traps and make the area safer for yourself.

Focus on the sides, as there are platforms with more white objects. So use wall runs to continue ahead after jumping onto a platform, and then jump onto these side platforms to throw more white objects for additional safety.

After that, follow the path ahead, use the air current to move up the stairs, and use the poles to reach the crack while making sure not to get hit by the trap.

Then continue ahead, take a U-turn, travel across the pole, jump onto the pole on the right, and continue making your way forward.

Slack Off – Parry

Then, slack off and continue moving ahead. Use the poles to make your way forward and then continue following the path. Eventually, you will come across the boss of Chapter 6.

Defeat The Boss Of Chapter 6

This boss fight can seem very challenging at first glance, but you can take advantage of the industrial fans to tip the boss over onto its side. That can be pretty difficult to pull off consistently, so if you cannot manage to do that, do not worry. Instead, use the industrial fan to jump high and perform a motorslice on either the back right or left side.

Then climb upward and perform a motorslice on the other side as well. After that, move ahead and perform a motorslice on the front side too, as either side will work.

Once you are done with that, the hardest part of the fight will remain. Now, create some distance between yourself and the boss and let the industrial fan tip it over. When that happens, run to its back wheels and start motorslicing toward the right side to defeat it.

That said, if you can’t flip the boss, then you can simply parry one of the first tyres and smash to flip it over.

Then use the air current to go upward into the grassy area, and with that, Chapter 6 in Motorslice will be over.
