Betty’s case in MOUSE: P.I. For Hire has led you to discover that she was involved with Milford Soyer, the same man running as a mayoral candidate for the city.
Since it will be more difficult to get to him directly, Vivian suggests that you check on one of his close associates, Miles Curd, at the Opera House, or what is left of it.

Fry The Crap Out Of John Patty

Drive your care to the Opera ruins, the same place you have been to earlier in the game and set on fire by accident. Once you reach your location, you will need to find Miles Curd and interrogate him.
But first, we will complete the side task – They Call It “Azurro Burgerro” – that John asked us for, alongside a few collectibles to pick up.

In the main room, go to the north corner underneath the staircase and you will find a safe that you can lockpick to get a schematic.

Take the stairs up and you will see a locked door. Do not interact with it yet; instead, use your grappling tail to go to the other side. To the west, there is a hole in the wall that you can reach.

Once you get there, look to your left and you will be able to pick up a Comic Book page. Then take the stairs down until you see a bunch of skeletons burning.

Make sure you look down until you get the prompt “Heat&Ash” and hold the button to fry the patty. Doing so will complete the side job, and you will be able to give it back to John once this is done.
Look For Miles Curd

Back to the main objective of locating Miles Curd. Return to the locked door and tail pick it. Go through it and you will find a cap and a painting blocking the path for you to glide.

Take the ladder down and make it to the end where you will see a button on the left side. Press it and this will remove the painting and you will be able to glide to the other side.

Here, to your surprise, at how straightforward this is, Miles Curd will be standing there overseeing the repairs. Your job just became much easier.
Question Curd

Now speak to Curd and listen to what he has to say. Jack will start by mentioning Betty Lynch and how he believes that she is involved with Soyer.
Curd keeps his guard up and does not want to speak freely at first until he knows who you are. After Jack explains his reason for asking, to your surprise, Curd will begin speaking poorly of Betty.
He will call Betty a “fame-hungry hawk” and say how she only wanted to chase a headline and secure a bigger paycheck. Just when Jack is trying to learn more, Curd shuts him down and asks him to leave him alone.

Unfortunately, the Betty x Soyer connection comes to a dead end, so you have no idea what to make of it. You have spent enough time at the Opera house, so it is time to leave and never come back. Interact with the Quit-o-Phone to exit.
Deliver The Patty To John

After you are back in town, head to the bar and speak to John to deliver his “Azurro” patty. John notices that you took a bite of it.
He wants to know your opinion on this method, but Jack does not seem to be a fan of it. Well, nothing goes unrewarded, so you will receive two Spike-D coins.
Talk To Vivian

Head to your office and speak to Vivian there about what you found out. Jack will mention that Curd does not seem to be a fan of Betty and appears to hate her.
After that, He simply asked him to threaten him if he did not leave, so basically no real information. Although Jack will go and dig for dirt near his house, so that is where he will head next to investigate.
Pin Your Burned Opera Clues

As usual, after you have finished all your talking, it is time to interact with your crime wall and pin all the clues you obtained from your time at the Burned Opera.
Two of the clues will resolve the lead, and, just like Jack mentioned, he will go and dig for dirt, and there is no place with more dirt than a countryside case in Curdsville.
