After Jack saves Stilton from the “extras” in the Opera House in MOUSE: P.I. For Hire, he ends up with no leads after speaking to the Stage Designer.
Luckily for him, Stilton now owes him a favor, so when Jack fills him in on the case he is working on, Stilton proves useful and knows exactly where you need to go next.

Find The Secret Lab Entrance

Interact with your car and drive toward the location that got unlocked to the northeast. When you start the location, you will find yourself in a forest, and from here you need to find the secret lab entrance.

Follow the Detective Brush and make your way forward. You will find an outhouse on the upper floor, go inside. Interact with the switch there and take the elevator down.
Search The Lab Complex

Once you make your way to the bottom, you will need to search the lab. Follow the path to the right and then kill the enemies that will spawn. You will find an electrical barrier that you need to disable.
Follow the wire to the end of the hallway and you will be able to find the switch that deactivates it. Once you do that, go through the bridge and drop down from the fence opening.

Go to the back of the carriage there and you will stumble upon a secret. You will find some money and a safe that you can tailpick. Here is the solution for it.

Now go through the door on the other side and follow the path here. Take the ladder up, and then you will find a typewriter to save your game.

Before you go to the main room inside, go to the left, and you will find a schematic hidden under it. Pick it up.

In the main room, you will see a big octopus trapped in the middle, and multiple electric barriers around it are blocking your progression. Not only that, but you will be attacked by a bunch of enemies as well.
Obtain Devarnisher

Deal with the enemies first and then make your way to the upper floor. Go to the room to the north and press the button there.
This will unlock the weapon case and you will be able to use the Devarnisher. This weapon sets enemies on fire.

Before you exit the room, there are a few things to interact with:

- Pick up the newspaper on the left side of the weapon case.
- Read the Betty note sitting on the desk.
- Pick up the clue from the frame hanging on the wall.
Disable The Electrical Barriers

Go back to the main room and give your new weapon a try. After you deal with all the enemies, the electrical barrier to the north will be disabled, go there.
At the end of the hallway, you will find a switch that you can activate to disable another set of the electrical barrier to the east. From here, simply follow the Detective Brush.

In the next room, you will see that the projector stopped working, and you will need to reactivate it again in order to progress forward.
Fix The Projector

In front of you, you will find your first power-up, Pepper-D (Hot Pepper). When you consume it, all your weapons will deal fire damage to enemies and burn them.
Kill all the enemies that will spawn here using this power up to make things easier for you because there will be a lot of them. The power-up has a duration in which it expires.

After you defeat all enemies, there is a secret that you can reach. Underneath the staircase in the middle, you will be able to spot some money. Crouch and make your way there, and that is the secret. There is also a baseball card to collect.
Now follow the Detective Brush and take the other stairs to reach the room on the upper floor. Here you will see a female robot that will be activated and will turn into a boss fight.
Defeat The Watchamacallit-001

The robot has two attacks, and the first is a set of rotating lasers that will cover most of the room. What you need to do is just shoot the robot and then jump or crouch whenever the laser is about to hit you.
These two lasers will rotate in a fixed pattern, then begin moving up and down, before shifting into a wave-like motion.

Now the second attack is when the robot will charge a deadly laser attack. When it starts doing so, four walls will appear in the arena and you need to take cover behind any of them.

You can use the Devarnisher to set it on fire and then use the shotgun to deal more damage. If you need more healing or ammo, there are a bunch around the arena, so be sure to pick them up.
Save Igorrrr

Just when you are about to finish the fight, you will hear a strange voice calling you out as “master”. If you look up, you will see someone trapped inside a cage.

Take the stairs up and use the switch to free him, then go speak to him. We do not think this is an important guy for the plot, but during the conversation, you can try to ask him about what is happening here.
He is a bit odd, and it seems he is one of the servants of Steve Bandel. Things went crazy here and he got locked up by the strange robot.

After you finish talking to him, go to the nearby room and pick up the schematic from the desk there.
Crank Up The Projector’s Power

Back to the main search, exit this room and move deeper down. You will find yourself in the projector room. Here, you need to activate the power again.
Take the stairs to the room above and you will find a switch there. Activate it, and it will lower a platform for you that you can use to reach the other side.

However, before you go there, the path is blocked by another electrical barrier and you need to disable it.
To your right, shoot the barrel to break the wall. Go all the way to the end and interact with the switch to deactivate it.

Now make the jump and go to the other side. To the right, there is a safe that you can tailpick to get extra money. The solution is below.

Take the ladder up, save your game at the typewriter, and then use the switch in this room. This will activate the projector and you will be able to press on.
Head Back To The Projector Room

Now you need to head back to the projector room, but first tailpick the door next to the switch. Inside, you will find a note on the desk and some additional money to collect.

Go to the main room, and it seems that another robot will attack you, and you need to defeat it.
Defeat The Watchamacallit-002

Unlike the first robot boss, this one has melee attacks and no head, so there is no headshot damage.
The first primary attack is throwing mines on the floor. You can actually use these to your advantage and lure the robot near them, then shoot them to explode and deal damage to it.

The second attack is melee slashes with her razors. Whenever you see that the robot is trying to make its way toward you, dash or create distance, then shoot it.

One important thing is not to let yourself get overwhelmed by the mines. Sometimes the lure will not work, and that is fine, just shoot them so you stay safe.
The Devarnisher is a great weapon to start the fight with as it will burn the robot and deal continuous damage, then you can use the Mice or the shotgun for additional damage. It is important to keep it burning to maximize the damage.
Investigation The “Secret” Secret Lab

After you finish your fight, the mouth of the bear statue will open the path for you, so you go on and use the elevator here to go down.
It seems that you have made it to the real secret lab and now you actually need to investigate it. The next room will have multiple enemies that you need to defeat.
The two entrances will be blocked by electrical barriers, but you only need to find one switch.

Go to the lower floor where you will find some wooden platforms that you can use to cross. At the end, you will find a switch, and activating it will remove the barrier of the entrance above.
Go back up and make your way there. Take the ladder down and go to the room to the right and activate the switch here. This will raise the sinking carriages, and you can use them to go to the other side.

Before you leave this room, tailpick the door here and go inside. This is a secret room that contains some money, ammo, and a comic card to pick up.

Now head back to the main room and use the carriage to make it to the other side. From here, just follow the Detective Brush.
You will go to the next room and start making your way up, killing multiple robot enemies.

Eventually, you will reach a button that you can press. Do that, and it will lower the platform for you to make it to the top.

Here you will find a bunch of ammunition and a typewriter. Make sure to save before moving on. To the right of the typewriter, you will find a newspaper in the trash bin.

Now take the stairs down, and before you go to the open room ahead, look under the staircase.

You will find a secret and another safe to tailpick. This is the solution, and inside you will find another schematic.
Defeat The Watchamacallit-003

As soon as you enter the room ahead, you will get a cutscene of what seems to be the full version of the Watchamacallit robot, ready to fight.
This boss fight has the combined moveset of Watchamacallit-001 and Watchamacallit-002, in addition to her own attacks.

She will send rocket enemies that will follow you and detonate, so you need to shoot them before they get close. She will also use the same laser attacks from Watchamacallit-001, except she has four instead of just two.
The robot can rush toward you and use melee attacks, so you must dash behind and shoot it.

Now for the charged laser attack, you can still hide behind the walls that will spawn, but for this fight, you want to press one of the four buttons around to reflect the attack.

This will stun her and make her vulnerable, and it is best to use dynamite here to cause massive damage.
The same strategy works in this fight: use the Devarnisher to keep the boss on fire while using your other gun to maximize damage. If you need extra healing or ammunition, there are a bunch scattered around the area, so feel free to pick them up.
Find And Collect Any Leads

So many robots, but it’s better for something. Head to what seems to be an electric chair ahead and pick up the note from it. This will be your clue from this location.

It is time to leave and head back to your office to connect the pieces together for your next move. Use your Quit-o-Phone on the other side to exit the lab.
B.A.N.G.

Drive back to town and as soon as you reach it, you will not find Tammy in her usual location. Instead, you will find a note on the wall.
It mentions that Tammy finished the makeover of her workshop, so you ought to pay her a visit.

Go behind the building and then open the door to Tammy’s Bearings. Take the stairs down and speak to her.
Tammy will unlock the feature of you upgrading your guns by using the schematics you find in the world.

Interact with the blueprint on the desk to go to the upgrade menu. The first upgrade of each weapon will unlock its alt-fire, and it only costs one schematic.
We highly recommend that you do so for at least two weapons of your choice.
Talk To Wanda

Head to the bar and speak to Wanda and update her on your findings and progress about the case. She needs her headline, and you need your bucks.
Jack will start explaining about the strange robots and his failed attempts at recreating Betty Lynch, his assistant. Some really strange stuff happened there, and it led Steve to do creepy things.
Of course, Steve could not do this on his own, and he had to consult an expert in this field, hence the note you found at the end of his dealings with some “mad” scientists.
Talk To Stilton

With everything done, it is time to go back to your office and interact with the crime wall. But to your surprise, you will find Stilton here, and he wants to talk to you.
During your conversation with Stilton, you will learn about his problems with the Shrews. It seems the Shrews are disappearing, and the police might be involved in this matter.
Oh well, now, from a simple missing person case, you have something else on your plate. This will unlock another main quest to investigate Clergy Row.
Pin Your Lab Clues

Now, interact with your crime wall and pin all the clues that you have gathered from the lab.
Once again, none of them will resolve into a lead, but at least you got Stilton’s case to check out, and who knows, it might be connected to your current investigation.
