There was something suspicious about Vivian when Jack first met her in MOUSE: P.I. For Hire, but he could not quite put his finger on it. Despite that, he agreed to help her with her case.
After uncovering who murdered her friend Betty, he learns the truth about Vivian and how she is the one who killed Curd and may be responsible for more. Just as he is about to confront her, she runs away.

Investigate The Studio

The only place where Vivian can escape is somewhere in Tinsel, and that is where you need to head, specifically to the movie set area.
After you arrive, at the end of the hallway, you will see a TV of Vivian panicking because they came for her.

Go through the door and head to the next room. You will find the Pyrotechnician standing in the middle.
Speak to her, and she will tell you how to access the control room where Vivian is hiding.
Find The Switches

In order to access the control room, you will need to activate two switches. Exit this room, and to your surprise, you will find yourself in a room not in black and white, but in full color. It will feel odd at first, but you will get used to it.
From this room, you will be able to access the two switches, both located on the upper floor. However, it will require you to take quite a journey to reach them.
Find The First Switch

The first door you will use is the one to the northwest. Go through it, and you will be back to your usual black and white theme. To your surprise, this room resembles your office.

Pick up the newspaper from the desk, then go to the bathroom area. Destroy the box here, then go through the vent. This will take you to a forest set where you need to make your way through.

Climb up the hill to the north and defeat all the enemies along the way.
At the top, where you will find a dining table, you will be given the Coffee power up, and waves of enemies will come at you, so deal with them.

Once the fight is over, shoot the large tree branch so it creates a bridge that you can use to cross to the other side, then go right, where you will find a vent entrance.

This will take you to the upper floor of the colored room. Cross to reach the next room, the Courthouse.

Jack needs to take the stand and wait for the judge’s decision. She will declare you guilty, and this will start a boss fight.
Make Your Case

This boss fight is fairly simple, as the judge stays in place and does not attack directly. The only thing she does is send enemies your way, and you need to defeat them as they appear.

You can use the Loose Cannon to deal heavy damage, then finish her off with the James gun. After you deplete her health, a trapdoor will appear next to her, and you need to descend.

At the bottom, you will find a vent that you can go through. This will lead Jack to the path that takes him to the first switch.

Activate it, then drop down to the ground floor of the colored room.

Here, there is a secret you may have missed. Go south and jump through the fake trees.
Look to your left, and you will find a hidden spot with a baseball card and a supply of ammunition.
Find The Second Switch

You need to go through the second door, which is located to the south. Enter this room, and you will find a cactus. Interact with it, and it will be taken by a mechanism to the upper floor. Meanwhile, a door will open to the southeast.

Use this door and go through the basement area. You will find multiple enemies trying to stop you, so take them out. After you defeat them, the water will start rising, and you will need to keep swimming.

Swim to the north and get out of the water. Use wall jump to reach the updraft vent and get to the upper floor.
Here, you will find that all gates are locked, but there is a platform to the southeast that you can stand on to open the gate in front of you.

Enter this room and defeat all the enemies. Once they are cleared, the other gate will open. Before you leave, go south, and there is a hidden vent entrance in the corner to your left. Go through it to find a secret with a safe that contains a schematic.

Follow the detective brush north and take the stairs up to reach the top floor. From here, you will be able to spot the cactus from earlier and reach it to interact with it.

As soon as you do, the wooden platform will collapse, and a strange beast mouse will break out of the glass and attack you.
Defeat The Beast Fatale

The Beast Fatale mainly throws candles at you, which cause explosive damage. He will throw a few, then disappear and reappear elsewhere before attacking again.

If you are not careful, you can lose a lot of health quickly. If dodging feels difficult, use the pillars in the room as cover, then attack from a safer position.
Do not stay behind one pillar for too long. Keep moving if he gets close. The boss takes a moment before each attack, so use that time to prepare, take cover, and deal damage.

After you defeat the Beast Fatale, you will unlock a warp pipe that you can use to reach the upper floor of the colored room, near the second switch.

With both switches activated, you will gain access to the control room, but Reggie will try to stop you, leading to another boss fight.
Defeat Reginald Shingler

The fight against Reginald Shingler is another straightforward encounter. His main attack involves aiming his gun at you while charging a shot.
During this phase, you will see the scope glint closing in, indicating when he will fire.

Sometimes, if you reach him before the charge completes and attack, you can interrupt him. However, Reggie frequently teleports around the area, making this harder to time consistently.
You can still damage him from a distance using your other weapons. If you are worried about getting hit, use the available cover around the arena.

Throughout the fight, enemies will spawn and attack you, so deal with them first. That is essentially the entire fight.
When you reduce most of Reggie’s health, he will teleport back to the control room and throw away his gun. He suggests continuing the fight using fists. Jack accepts, and now you must rely on melee attacks and dodging to finish him.

This phase is simple: move in for a few hits, then pull back and dodge. Keep track of your stamina, as both melee attacks and dodging consume it, and you do not want to be caught without enough to avoid incoming attacks.
Catch Vivian

With Reggie defeated, it is finally time to go after Vivian. Use the warp pipe to reach the control room. Just as you approach the ladder, Vivian will pull it away and throw you a note.

There is no clear indication of where she went, but she does mention that the BMP killed Betty.
This means the case is wrapped up, and Jack will go after Vivian another day, as he still needs to find Steve.
Pin Your Remaining Blue Betty Clues

After the cutscene, you will find yourself back in the office. Interact with the crime wall and pin all the remaining clues.
Wrap Up The Case With Wanda

With another case wrapped up, it is time to give Wanda her story with all the details. Speak to her at the bar.
