Chapter 7: Forlorn Isle
There’s quite a few objects to investigate here on the Forlorn Isle, even before you enter the house. Feel free to explore if you wish (or don’t), and then enter the house through the door.
In here, you’ll finally meet artist Mona Moonbeam. As usual, she’ll need you to get some things done for her before she’ll spill the deets.
After talking to Mona, go a little to the right and you’ll find the stereo. Interact with it for a puzzle.
In this puzzle, you need to get only the lights marked by an arrow turned on. The others should be off.
You can easily solve this puzzle by pressing the buttons 3, 2, and then 1, counting from the left to right.
Once the stereo’s on, talk to Mona again. She now needs you to open the supply closet.
The supply closet is to her left, marked as “Storage”. The puzzle here presents you a 5×5 grid with 5 different kinds of symbols.
To solve this puzzle, you need to examine all the different sculptures on the Forlorn Isle, and arrange them in chronological order of creation.
Close the puzzle screen and go outside of the house. Outside, you’ll find three sculptures. Examine each of them and note their names.
You’ll find: Vanilla Cloud, Rising Sun, Deep Waters.
For the remaining two sculptures, enter the house and then go up to the attic using the stairs that are to the right of the screen.
Here you’ll find: Bedrock, Gentleman Octopus.
While you’re here, take off the cloth cover from the third sculpture.
When you’re ready, go down to the Main Room and back to the puzzle screen.
The icons on the grid refer to each of the sculptures. You should be able to recognise the shapes. They are, from left to right, Bedrock, Cloud, Octopus, Waters, Sun.
To solve this puzzle, you need to select the icons so that the physically bottom-most object is at the bottom.
Therefore, bedrock comes first at the bottom, followed by octopus, then water, then cloud, and finally, the sun on top.
(My theory is that the water represents the water surface, and hence that is above the octopus).

Inside the supply closet, you’ll find a variety of tools for creating sculptures. Ignore these for now and return to Mona.
Mona now needs you to find a base that corresponds to the oldest sculpture she has in her house. This is the Rising Son, dated to 3049. It has an Angular base, so pick that from the Supply Closet.
Use the Angular Base on Mona to give it to her.
Next, she needs a tool with more than 2 points, 1 curved blade, and at least 1 straight edge.
Return to the Supply Closet and pick Tool 05 (fifth tool from the left).
Hand it over to Mona as before.
Now Mona needs you to find the medium of her most recent sculpture. This is Bedrock, dated to year 3489. The medium is Stone, so go to the Supply Closet and pick Stone, then hand it over to Mona as usual.
Finally, she needs a color that is ‘befitting’ Edward. Return to the Supply Closet and pick the Orange Paint, as that resembles Edward’s appearance the most.
Hand it over to Mona and she’ll finally be ready to answer your questions.
Grill her and end the conversation once you’ve exhausted all your options. Edward will automatically move on to the next Chapter.
