My Winter Car – Part 2 Walkthrough
Part 2 in My Winter Car includes applying for the job and buying the project car. Surviving in a cold environment can be challenging, so make sure your stats are stable before moving out of your parents’ apartment.
Get Ready Before Moving Out

Now that you have learned crucial mechanics in My Winter Car, you need to purchase the Corris Rivett and apply for a job. Before moving out of the apartment, ensure you sleep on the bed and use the toilet to empty your bladder. Wear warm clothes, such as a winter jacket, to maintain body temperature. Wearing too many clothes can increase the Sweat on your character. Drink the beer or alcohol to mitigate the Problem bar.

You can enjoy some music by turning on the radio. This will not affect your character’s stats, but it gives you a cozy vibe. Use the TV Remote Control to change the channel on the radio. Consume some sausages from the fridge to reduce hunger.
Turn on the Car

Make your way out of the apartment and start your car to drive outside the city. A lot of players get confused about how to start the car. Get inside the car and ignite the engine. Remove the cable plug from the front side of the car. Now, hop into the car and fasten the seatbelt. Pull back the hand brake and choke. This is the little knob to the left of the wheel. Hold LMB on the ignition and give it a little gas.

You need to jump out of the car, face towards the windshield, and hold LMB to manually scrape the ice. Make sure to move the mouse up and down to clear it. You need to turn on the heater to warm the room.
Turn on the Heater

Using the heater in My Winter can be challenging, as this is the crucial part for driving. Controlling everything correctly allows the heater to work in Sorbett. The requirement for turning on the heater is correcting the lever positions, turning on the blower, and engine heat. If only one control is set incorrectly, freezing may occur in the car. The heater in this car comes with two levers and buttons. Use the top lever to control the air direction.

Blow the air on the window and cabin by moving the top lever to the right side. Use the bottom level to control the temperature. Move this level to the left side to enhance the heat. You can find the blower button just under the window heater. Choose to turn it on to low or high based on your preference.
There’s a separate button for the rear window heater. Pressing this button allows you to heat the rear window only. Keep in mind that the heater will do nothing when the blower is off, so make sure to turn it on.
Use the ATM in PSK

Once done, enter the driving mode and start driving towards the mart. PSK Peräportti is a rest area/gas station located in front of the exit from Peräjärvi to the highway, where the construction site is located in MSC.

You need to use the ATM for the transaction. Insert your credit card into the slot to initiate the transaction. You need to type your PIN code. The PIN you enter at the ATM for the first time is your permanent PIN for the rest of the game. Use the same PIN code while prepaying for the gas at the pump.

Choose the service you need, Tapahtumat for Transactions/Statement, and Otto for Withdraw cash from bank. Make sure to choose the amount of money you wish to withdraw from the available options. You get the option to see the withdrawal details in the system.
The transaction details will be displayed if you choose to select ‘Naytolle’. Take your card back from the machine before leaving. You can take the money from the dispensing slot to use it to purchase new items.
How To Get Salmon Soup

Make your way towards the counter and choose the Salmon Soup from the displayed board above. This will cost you 65 MK, so make sure you have this money in your account. Speak with the Salesman over there and give him an order.

Once you pay for the soup, pick up the token from the counter and place it on any dining table. You need to wait for a while till the waiter serves your food on the table. You can consume it directly to reduce hunger in your character.
Go To Sleep

Once done eating, get inside the car and make your way towards your home. Make sure to park your car in the garage, or there will be frost on the car’s windows in the morning. Before leaving the garage, turn on the heater of the garage and set the temperature to 20 degrees from the left side.
Get the Gas

Get inside the house and set the temperature of the house too. Move into your bedroom and set the alarm at 6 am. Approach the bed and choose to sleep to reduce the Fatigue bar on your character.
Once you wake up, move outside the house and enter the garage. Get inside the car and continue driving towards the fuel pump outside the city. Make sure to approach the gas pump and park the car. Get outside of the vehicle and interact with the card terminal on the pump. Insert your credit card and enter the PIN. If it’s your first time using the terminal, then use any code and remember it to use it on the ATM. If you already use the ATM, then use that PIN to access your account in the card terminal. Enter the amount you choose to spend.

Once you confirm the amount, choose the pump number you’re using to fill the gas. Pick up the gas nozzle after the terminal finishes and fill the car with fuel. Once the bar completes, the tank is full. Now, you can place the nozzle back in its location. The payment will fail if the nozzle doesn’t lift.
Apply For the Job

Once done, continue moving till you find the large building near the bridge. The office is located in the large building near the bridge on the southeast side of the map. You can find this building next to the asphalt road, and it can easily be missed while driving towards it.

The factory opens at 7 am, so make sure you arrive there before that time. I highly recommend waking up around 6 am to avoid being late. However, the work doesn’t start immediately, as it will only initiate on Monday.

Make your way to the large building near the bridge on the southeast side of the map. Get inside the building and speak with the woman you encounter. You will be informed that the boss is available. Go all the way to the boss’s office and stay close to him. The boss starts walking and gets on the call, so make sure to walk along with him.
If you choose to walk away, the boss will not give you a contract and will stop the dialogue. Hit the ‘K’ button to continue the dialogue and keep following him. You need to wait till he finishes, and he will give you the contract and the job.

Once the contract is prompted on the screen, make sure to sign it. The job starts at 8 am next Monday. The locked work door means you’re early before the given time. The contract will never appear if you choose to walk away early while the boss is on the call.
Office Rules

The office keeps track of what the player is doing. There will be a 1-hour lunch break that the player can take during the job with his co-workers. However, this is optional as the player can opt to skip and work during the time instead. The salary is stated in the contract, which you can read before signing. After a two-week trial period, you get a salary increase.

The lunch break will be in the kitchen and break room, where the player needs to bring their own food for lunch. There’s a usable freezer for storing food. If the player saves enough hours, he will be able to take Friday off as a free day. Smoke in the designated areas, which are outside the building. If the player doesn’t work enough hours in a week or is caught slacking, being registered with the punch clock, he can get fired. Read the contract carefully and sign on the bottom right side of the paper.
Purchase Corris Rivett

Corris Rivett is the project car, and you need to obtain its spare parts, as it’s not drivable when you purchase it. The buildable project car is based on the Ford Taunus TC. This car has a 2.0L inline four-cylinder OHC engine. You can choose to transmit the engine’s power by a 4-speed manual transmission, a 5-speed manual transmission, or a 3-speed automatic transmission. Corris Rivett has a heavy body, low revving, and high torque.

You can purchase this car for 500 mk. You don’t own the Rivett from the start of the game and must buy it while progressing. This car is sold as a bare, disassembled frame with 10-12 random loose parts. You can acquire the rest of the parts by purchasing them from various sources, such as Fleetari’s repair shop, the flea market, and the classifieds magazine.

Buy the Corris Rivett from Reijo Livaloinen. Make sure to first call this NPC from the phone in your apartment. The heater direction, the blower strength, and the heater temperature are the three different heater controls of this vehicle. Use this car to participate in the rally sprint race or the ice track race.
Call the Car Seller

The car seller is the firewood person available in his house with the white shed. You can locate the car outside the house, but you don’t own it yet. This NPC will not be available over there if you go there without calling him first.
Make your way to the PSK and approach the advertisement board on the right. It’s best if you note down the phone number of the car seller. Get inside your car and go all the way to the apartment and interact with the phone. Enter the correct phone number by using the keyboard.
Once you enter the number, wait for the seller to pick up the call. Listen to what the car seller has to say and don’t hang up while he’s talking. Once he hangs up the call, you need to move to this location to purchase the Corris Rivett.
Approach the Car Seller

Once you’re talking to the car seller, their location appears on the map. You need to get inside the car and make your way towards the designated location during the daytime. You will not find this NPC if you visit him at night. Once you find the firewood person, purchase the car for 500 mk. You can’t drive this car when you first own it.
You will not find the car seller if you don’t call him first, hang up early, call late in the day, or don’t use the numpad. That’s where the Part 2 walkthrough in My Winter Car concludes.
