Nighthawks – Act 4: Treason In The Blood Walkthrough

Nighthawks Walkthrough

Nighthawks focuses on your journey as someone who has recently turned into a vampire in a society where humans and vampires coexist. However, there’s much conflict and cunning between the two factions, and you’ll have to find ways to progress in this world where each human or vampire only wants the best for themselves.

Allegations

After you’re dragged by the authorities, you’ll find yourself in a prison. However, with some luck, you’ll encounter Dr. Velasco.

Gideon will also help out in trying to free you, and shortly, you’ll be back on the streets of Cradlebridge. But you only have a month’s worth of time to find conclusive evidence to prove your innocence.

During this time, since there’s no physical evidence, you have to earn the favor of as many vampires as possible. Complete as many investigations and requests as you can. Your past actions of mercy and your favors upon the companions will also count towards winning you the trial.

Old Friends

One of the Obligation quests requires you to meet with Rupert Winchester and Monika Vail. You can find Rupert at the Chained Tree as usual, but you’ll only be able to talk to him once. After that, you’ll have to wait till the trial to face him.

Monika, on the other hand, can be found at her penthouse anytime. Head there and talk to her to complete the Old Friends Obligation quest.

Baby Vampire Blues

Baby Vampire Blues is easily the main quest that you have to do before you can fast-forward the time to the trial from your Sanctuary. This quest begins after you talk to Becca, whom you’ve recently turned into a vampire, who is trying to come to terms with her new life.

Initially, she won’t even talk to you properly, but you have to keep returning to her.

You’ll eventually get the option to pursue Becca into the corridors. Try to comfort her, and she’ll go back to her regular duties for a few days.

In a few days, if you visit the bar and talk to Becca, she’ll appear distracted. Talk to her, and she’ll be willing to go visit her parents with you to reveal her secret.

When you visit her parents, you’ll have the option to back Becca or let her deal with her mom. I picked the option to let her handle it.

By the end of the scene, her mom will be extremely displeased with you and Becca. Becca will be disappointed, and you won’t be seeing her at the Nighthawks anytime soon.

All you have to do now is wait. Go and visit her apartment in the Old Town, but she won’t respond at all. Talk to the companions in the Nighthawks bar and keep waiting.

Eventually, you’ll wake up one day and find that the bar is empty and Gideon isn’t in his office. Check behind the scenes, and you’ll find the companions gathered there to figure out a way to cheer Becca up and make her accept her new life as a vampire.

The party will then visit Becca’s apartment and will manage to convince her to accept her new way of life. She’ll be working in the bar from now on as usual.

A Bolt From The Blue

During your visits, you’ll be attacked by a strange bolt designed to kill vampires. You’ll have to ask around about this bolt.

Head to Domino at the Nighthawks club and ask him about the bolt. The conversation suggests Monica Vail might know more about it.

Talk to Monica and then head to the Necropolis. You’ll obtain the Vampire Hunter’s phone here. Return to Domino with the phone, and it will be revealed that Pendragon is involved in this.

You’ll have to approach Monica once again and ask her to arrange a meeting with a Pendragon official. She’ll agree to report to you once she has something. You have to wait a few days for her email.

After you’ve received the email, go and talk to Domino. Select the option to travel to Pendragon Security with Domino to progress the quest.

In the next sequence, you’ll find Marlene. You’ll have to interview her until she has something to do and leaves her office unsupervised. Look around her office when she isn’t there. You have to pick up her Keycard when she isn’t in there.

After obtaining the Keycard, you have to take your leave with Domino. In the elevator, you’ll have to select the Basement -2 level.

When you get there, you’ll find an old, decaying vampire who appears to be the one controlling Pendragon.

Marlene will also arrive at the scene shortly after. You’ll have to make a decision to put an end to the old vampire with Domino’s help, or let him live.

I tried to persuade Domino to not do anything reckless, but he unplugged the pipes anyway. You’ll then have to decide if you want to leave Domino to his fate here, or fight your way out together. Not leaving him by himself is a better choice here.

The Road Back To Necropolis

Necropolis’ entrance has been sealed after what happened with Tremaine. You’ll have to get there through the sewers.

Go to the sewer next to the Halcyon Hotel. You have to make your way to U1. From there, head west, and you’ll find the entrance to Necropolis.

Funeral For The Dead

Funeral For The Dead is one of the quests that can be accepted at the Deinocrites Club in Fountaincourt, where a young servant is trying to help and give their master a proper living funeral.

To inquire more about Morgan’s Master, you’ll have to talk with Alistair Wick, Tempest, and Monica Vail. They’ll give you plenty of information about the master.

Once you’ve gathered enough information, return to the Deinocerites Club and talk to Morgan to begin the Funeral Preparations.

Here, you’ll have to select several options based on the information you’ve acquired so far. You can only fail some times before the funeral fails.

The first question is about the Master’s name, and the answer is Istvan. The next option is the Charter of Shadows. The third answer is to establish a city openly controlled by vampires. The fourth answer is Bela and the Mongols.

For the fifth answer, you’ll have to select Katarzyna. The sixth correct option is the Imperial Bloodline. For the Seventh choice, you’ll have to pick Die Fledermaus. The eighth answer is Athanasia. For the ninth option, you’ll have to pick immortality for Katerzyna.

You can then move towards concluding the tale. From among the options, when Morgan asks what else could there be, I picked the option that Die Fledermaus is coming to the theatre next month, which resulted in the quest ending in a success.

You can then tell Morgan how you prefer to live, and that will conclude the quest as Morgan prepares to pack their stuff.

Trial

Once you’ve completed most of the obligations, you can return to the Sanctuary, and the option to fast-forward to the trial will become available.

Each of the vampires and humans you’ve helped will back you against Rupert. Once you manage to gain enough favor, Gideon will take a stand.

After Gideon’s statement, you’ll be locked up for good. The detective will put you in a cell but will move away shortly after.

You can then take the help of the rat and attempt to lockpick your way out. Just before you can reach the Halcyon Hotel, you’ll have to face off against the detective. If you’ve got any favors on him, now will be the time to call it, or you’ll have to battle against him. After surviving the detective, you’ll be able to begin the final Act.
