After the prologue of Octopath Traveler 0, you have the freedom to pursue any of the 3 “Master of..” quests. Its generally smarter to start with the one you selected when Nomos asked you at the end of the prologue. Because thats the influence that is boosted. In our case it was Power.
You also have a side-quest called “Rekindling the Flame Pt.1”. In this part of our walkthrough we will be focusing on this quest that leads to rebuilding the town of Wishvale.

Rekindling the Flame Pt.1
Speak to Stia in Wishvale
Speaking to Stia starts the quest, which sends us to the North Theatropolis Plains. The recommended level is 5, so if you haven’t hit that, grind for a bit.
Head to North Theatropolis Plains
Head south from the Wishvale trail and you will reach the path marker for North Theatropolis plans. Keep going south west. Also if you get into a fight on the way – you will now have unlocked your ultimate move.
In Theatropolis head south and you can find a chest with e Bottle of Poison Dust.
To the left is Emberglow and to the right is your destination for the quest. To the bottom of the map is Serpent’s Burrow – a level 6 dungeon.
In the northern part, there is a red chest with 480 leaves in a cove.
On the south east part of the map, beyond the house you are here to visit is the path to the Theatropolis plains. Ignore that for now and head to the house. You will find Tyme, the village drunk lives here. This will also teach you about the Path Action: Invite.
Inquire about Tyme’s background and invite him to Wishvale – as inviting him will get you a regular supply of stones. This will also net you the achievement “The First Invitation”.
Return to Wishvale
Go back to Wishvale with Tyme.
Build a House
You have to build a house now. So clean up the rubble west of the workshop and talk to Stia. You will now have access to the Construction menu – so build a house.
Each house can have two residents. So for now move Tyme into the house you just built.
This will complete the quest and open up town building completely. Build a Tome of Records next.
If you talk to Stia now, she will start the quest “Kindlers of the Flame”. The first chapter is called “ The Hunter Phenn”.
