In this part of the walkthrough for Octopath Traveler 0 we complete The final part to the Master of Power questline called Tytos the Thunderblade. We also recruit Delitia the hunter and bring the conclusion to Velnorte and Tytos’ story.

Back To Wishvale
Before I started this bit, I checked back on Wishvale. If this is something you want to skip, skip this section and go to the next section. If you have gone through enough battles, the yield should be ready at the fields. Go back and check your harvest. The group will now decide to build a Ranch. So let’s build a Ranch.
I assigned the Hunter-Like Youth to the ranch. After which, I spoke to him to get him to raise chicken. Add 2 chickens to the menu and go out do some battles. I am doing the Master of Power quests simultaneously. It takes about 6 fights to get an yield. Once you have two yields you will need to build a house. This will lead to another cutscene which will teach you about Radiant Cornerstones. They are used to upgrade buildings.
Once you are done updating the hub/Tavern. You need to place 20 decorations. Once that is done, you will receive the next part of the Rekindling the Flame quest. Part 2 as it is. You have to head to Rippletide, which is a level 20 area. So let’s leave that till you are level 20.
Encounter with Delitia
Before talking to Velnorte check infront of the tavern for Delitia.
Contend with her for a token. Once you beat her you will receive the Aqeeq Charm. Next she will ask help on finding her brother. She will now join you.
Tytos the Thunderblade
Talk to Velnorte
Head to Velnorte’s house. Go upstairs and start the quest. You can see in a flashback when the Pontiff met with Tytos after his heroics. Meanwhile, Velnorte has completely lost it. Watch the cutscene play out, outside.
Aid the hunter in hunting down a Snow Yak
Follow Dmitri up to the mountains. In the cliff where you fought Jurgen, you have to fight two Yaks now. They are weak to Axe and Sword attacks. They do give a decent amount of XP.
Go to the house of the hunter Dmitri
Head down the slope to get to Dmitri’s house. You will find the Rinyuu has survived. Wait till the medicine is brewed. Velnorte meanwhile is with Tytos.
Go to where the Monster was heard
Head outside. Check for footprints and then head back to the hut again. Jurgen is back.
Boss Fight: Jurgen
Same as before. Just keep chipping away at his massive shield, he should go down without much trouble. Watch the scenes unfold then escort Rinyuu back to Velnorte.
Go to Velnorte’s House
Make your way through the snow back to Emberglow. At Velnorte’s house, read the letter he left behind. Watch the next set of cutscenes play out.
Go to the ceremonial square
Head to the cathedral.
Once there, check the houses on the left for a Red Chest.
Check the second house on the right for a chest with a 1000 leaves. Go up the stairs and to the left. There is a house at the end of a narrow alley with a red chest inside.
Go down the stairs and past the main walkway to the left to find another house with a chest inside containing a Fire Soulstone.
Now go up to where Velnorte is. Velnorte will give you the antidote to the Scarlet Serum.
Confront the Hero Tytos
Head into the Cathedral of Tytos. Check the left side of the cathedral first; there is a room in the top left corner with a red chest.
Now head over to the right side and go up the stairs. On the second floor go north to find a chest with a Herb of Vitality in it.
There’s nothing else on this floor so go upstairs via the stairs in the west. There is a red chest containing a Resilient Stance Mastery skill on the north eastern room.
Go back down and take the east side stairs for a red chest in the room above. It contains a Traditional Dancer Garb.
Go back up the other stairs again – I know, I know. Save at the pew and head through the door leading south. Watch Tytos lose it before fighting him.
Boss: Tytos
Phase 1
Tytos has a shield count of 17 and is weak to daggers, arrows, polearms, light and wind attacks. He only does Physical Attacks and inflicts terror. He goes down pretty easily and fast.
Phase 2
Immediately after Velnorte buffs everyone he will create an Energy Draining Barrier. Phase 2 Tytos has 19 shields and is weak to Polearms, Arrows, Daggers, light and Wind magic. Basically just does a front row physical attack sweep and inflicts terror.
Once he goes down, watch the ending to this story.
