OFF (2025) Walkthrough Part 3: Zone 3

off walkthrough

Welcome to part 3 of our walkthrough for OFF. In the last part, we purified Zone 2, defeated Japhet, and uncovered the truth about the Judge’s brother.

Now, with the Pisces card in hand, we’ll move on to Zone 3, a place of factories, mines, and a guardian unlike any we’ve faced before.

If you want to know more about OFF, check out the official website here.

Area 1: The Dormitory Minefield

off walkthrough

Arriving in Zone 3, you’ll find the Red Cube as usual. Save your game and head up the northern route.

This area is a massive factory with smoke coming out of the chimneys. Go through the door.

off walkthrough

You’ll arrive in an office with two exits. The path to the left leads down to the monorail, but we won’t need it just yet.

Grab the poster hanging on the wall behind the desk.

Go through the open door on the left to enter the section marked A1 (Area 1).

off walkthrough

An Elsen can be seen chilling by the river. Continue left and go through the next door.

off walkthrough

When you enter the room, the Batter will speak to you directly. He says the Stamped Note might be of use here. Click the button you see to check the Stamped Note.

off walkthrough

Basically, this zone is a minefield, and if you step on the wrong spots, you’ll either have to fight a group of specters or be teleported back out of the building.

There are three routes through the minefield, each marked by different colored blocks on your Stamped Note: black, green, and brown. Each path leads to a different door.

Follow the route marked above to reach the first door.

off walkthrough

You’ll find Zacharie inside. You’ll notice that he is now wearing a mask that looks uncomfortably like the Judge. We also learn the name of the Judge (Pablo), and that he’s not feeling well. Zacharie will replace him for a while.

He’ll also ask you to check the dormitory and come see him when you’re done.

You can still buy items from him, and he has a few new defensive and offensive equipment that you can pick up right now. After that, loot the chest next to him for the Zone 3 Pillar Art.

The dormitory is behind door 3 (green route), but before heading there, you can easily reach door 2 (brown route) from Zacharie’s room.

To get to the second door, follow the route marked in the image above.

Inside door 2, you’ll find a couple of Elsens with nothing useful to say, but at the far end of the room is the third and final Add-On: Epsilon. This one’s a support specialist with the ability to damage every enemy in battle.

There’s a chest in the room right next to the Add-On that contains a piece of Moloch’s Meat.

Head back to the entrance. It’s okay to step on the wrong tile now. You have to start from the main entrance anyway. It’s time to go for the final route.

The route for the third door is marked in the image above.

off walkthrough

You’ll find an Elsen on the left who is “definitely” not hiding anything.

off walkthrough

Go north, and in the next dorm room, you’ll find a chest containing two Fortune Tickets.

off walkthrough

In the final dormitory room, you’ll see an Elsen getting attacked by some specters. Naturally, the Batter interferes at this point, and a fight breaks out.

off walkthrough

Defeat the specters. The Batter notes that the people around here are acting strangely. Head back to Zacharie’s room.

off walkthrough

Return to Zacharie and tell him what you’ve seen. He’ll suggest checking out Area 2 of the zone.

off walkthrough

With that, head back to the monorail from earlier in the area. Interact with it and choose Area 2 as your destination.

Area 2: Sugar Treatment Building

You’ll arrive at the monorail station in Area 2. Use the stairs to reach the main zone. Zacharie is already here waiting for you. After a short conversation, he gives you a free Golden Flesh before heading into the building to the north.

This area has three doors, each leading into a separate building.

Start with the first building on the right to find Zacharie inside. Talking to him doesn’t lead anywhere, and his shop is closed. Use the Yellow Cube here to save your game before heading back outside.

Next, try the middle building. Zacharie appears again, walking up to the counter from the side, and he’s removed the mask he wore earlier. Talk to him to open his shop and upgrade your equipment.

Finally, enter the building on the left. This is the main Sugar Treatment Facility in Area 2.

As you enter the room, you’ll notice a switch that you can’t reach because of a block.

off walkthrough

There are two Elsens in the room and a blocked door on the top right.

In the bottom-right corner of the room are three more switches. The one on the right has a strange C symbol above it.

off walkthrough

By now, you should also start encountering a specific type of enemy while walking around. Make a note of its name, you’ll need it later.

off walkthrough

Flip the switch with the symbol to disable the barrier blocking the switch near the entrance.

Go press that one, then return to the symbol switch and flip it again. This opens the way to the treatment rooms through the northern door.

off walkthrough

The next room has another switch puzzle. Start by pressing the only accessible switch on the top-right corner of the room.

off walkthrough

Then, interact with the middle switch.

off walkthrough

From here, head to the top-left corner and press the switch there.

off walkthrough

This gives you access to a chest in the bottom-left corner near an Elsen. Open it for a Fast Symbol.

Return to the middle switch, press it again, and then interact with the top-right switch. Flip that same switch one more time to remove the blocks blocking the left-hand door.

off walkthrough

Interact with the door. You’ll need a passname to get through. The symbol in white looks oddly similar to the enemy that you’ve been fighting in this area.

Enter Von Gacy as the passname, and the door will unlock.

off walkthrough

As you enter the next room, you’ll come across an unusual sight. The Elsens are actually fighting back and killing the Specters. But then they turn on you, convinced you’re here to steal their sugar.

off walkthrough

Defeat the three Burnt Elsens that attack you.

off walkthrough

After defeating the enemies, Zacharie walks in and tells you to go to Area 3 next.

off walkthrough

Before you leave, there’s a chest on the right side of the room that has a Fortune Ticket.

off walkthrough

Start heading back towards the monorail. The Elsens in the area have turned at this point and will start moving in weird directions. Bumping into them will start a fight. You can either fight them or just slip past them and exit the building.

Return to the monorail and set your destination to Area 3.

Area 3: The Sugar Factory

After arriving in Area 3 and stepping out of the monorail station, you’ll see a large factory building ahead.

Move forward and climb the ladder on your left. It’s tall, but there are no enemy encounters along the way. At the top, the game will ask you if you want to jump. Choose Yes.

This starts a mini-game where you fall through a pipe while Specters and Add-Ons pop up on the screen.

Touching a Specter will reduce your HP by 1. Your goal is to collect 10 Add-Ons before the timer runs out or your HP drops to 0.

Make sure you’re aiming for the center of each Add-On as they pop up. The game doesn’t register if you simply touch them.

off walkthrough

After making it to the bottom, you’ll find an Elsen working . Next to him, there’s a staircase leading to a lower level.

You’ll meet another Elsen downstairs, standing next to a pile of dead bodies. Watch the cutscene play out. The Elsen tells you that the director is in Area 4.

off walkthrough

Go back upstairs and interact with the hole beside the working Elsen to jump back to the monorail.

off walkthrough

As you try to board, Zacharie will bump into you. After a brief conversation, he’ll give you the access card for Area 4 and join you for the trip.

off walkthrough

Midway through the ride, the monorail stops. Zacharie tells you to check outside, where you’ll find an Elsen standing on the tracks.

off walkthrough

Interact with it to begin a fight against a Critic-Burnt. Despite its scary appearance, it won’t attack you. Instead, it simply keeps asking for help as you wail on him.

Once it’s defeated, return to the monorail and speak to Zacharie to continue on to Area 4.

Area 4: The Gamepad Puzzle

After getting off the monorail, Zacharie runs off, saying he’ll meet you later. Inside the station, there’s a Yellow Cube you can use to heal and save. From here, you can head either left or right. Start by going left.

You’ll enter a long corridor with a series of doors. Most of them are locked apart from a select few.

You can also see some Elsens roaming the hallway, and if you bump into them, you’ll be pulled into a fight. If you want to avoid combat, you can simply move around them. They’re pretty slow.

Go south down the corridor and through the first door in the lower part of the area. Keep moving forward to find Zacharie, who wants to offer you some “advice” but not for free.

Go out and continue west. The room just before the last one looks empty at first glance, but if you interact with the suspiciously blank spot inside the lines on the floor, a hidden chest will appear.

Loot the chest for Friday, a special item that can be equipped on any party member.

Head back to the entrance of the area and walk straight west. Enter the third door on your right. You’ll see a note on a table, but it’s out of reach from this angle. Interact with the table to push it aside.

Exit this room and go into the next one. Now you can inspect the note.

A text at the top of the screen shows that it’s important, so we recommend taking a picture of it on your phone.

off walkthrough

With no other usable doors here, continue down the passage until you loop around to a room with two blocks in front of a staircase. There’s a door on the right side of the area. Go through it to reach the other side of the monorail station.

off walkthrough

Take the first door on your left to enter a storage room. On the left side of the room, you’ll spot a game controller on a table. Interact with it.

off walkthrough

This is the main puzzle you’ll need to solve in the area. The note you found earlier is part of the solution. The other part requires help from Zacharie.

Leave the storage room and head south. The left door leads back to the monorail station, where you can heal at the Yellow Cube if needed.

Head east down the corridor and enter the second room on your left. There’s a Burnt Elsen inside who attacks you as soon as you step inside.

off walkthrough

This Burnt is different from the ones you faced so far. You deal minimal damage to it when you attack. However, after a few turns, you’ll notice an Elsen’s head pop out of its open mouth. You need to kill the Elsen that pop out a few times to defeat the enemy.

off walkthrough

After beating the Elsen, loot the chest for the Music Box. This is the item that Zacharie wants.

off walkthrough

Return to Zacharie and hand over the Music Box. The game screen will shift to the left, revealing a code on the right. The letters Z, J, B, and D refer to the note you picked up earlier. In the note, you’ll also notice that the text lines up with the Triangle, Square, Cross, and Circle buttons on the gamepad.

off walkthrough

Go back to the storage room with the game controller and enter the code:

Up, Right, Down, Left, Triangle, Square, Circle, Cross, Circle, Start

NOTE: Replace these with the correct buttons for your controller.

If entered correctly, you’ll get a message confirming that access to the lower level has been authorized.

Exit the room, head west, and go down the stairs to move on to the next section.

off walkthrough

You’ll reach a long corridor with some posters on the wall. There’s a door at the end of the corridor.

off walkthrough

This leads to another keypad puzzle, but the solution is written on the wall.

If you look closely, you’ll notice that the keypad layout is reversed. Keeping that in mind, enter the code, and the block in front of the door will disappear.

Head inside and use the Red Cube to save your game. You’re about to go up against Enoch, the guardian of this zone.

Enoch, The Guardian of Zone 3

The next room after the Red Cube feels a bit ominous. It’s a winding path with rivers on either side.

Keep moving forward until you come face to face with Enoch. Once the dialogue ends, the boss fight begins.

The first thing you’ll notice is that your attacks barely scratch him. Even the Batter points out that escaping is the only option.

This means you can’t actually defeat Enoch right now, so use the Flee option to end the fight.

You’ll find yourself outside his office at the end of the winding path. As soon as you take a step forward, Enoch starts chasing you.

Your goal is to avoid being caught as you run straight for the exit.

He’ll stop once you reach the room with the Red Cube. From here, head back toward the monorail station.

As you climb the stairs to the upper level, you’ll notice the right path is blocked, so take the left exit instead.

The entire zone has changed. Everything is stark white, and even the sound is different, creating an oddly unsettling atmosphere.

None of the doors will open in the corridor. Even the ones you could access earlier are locked now.

The path to the monorail station is the only road still open. So head towards the train.

Just as you reach it, Enoch appears again. This time, he is bigger, angrier, and ready for a real fight.

The Batter notes that Enoch looks exhausted, and the second phase begins.

This is one of the toughest battles so far. Enoch has a massive health pool, and the key to winning is patience.

You don’t want to focus fully on offense. Your goal is to keep dealing damage while using Objects to heal or revive your party.

Once Enoch falls, you’ll receive the Acquarias card, which grants access to The Room. However, before he fades away, he mentions something weird:

“Deprived of its guardian, this zone is now destined to vanish.”

It doesn’t sound like a bluff. It makes you wonder what’s happening to the other zones you’ve already purified.

The game kicks you back out to Nothingness. You can now access The Room, the white dot on the map. But before that, we’ll take a quick peek at the earlier zones.
