Planet of Lana 2 incorporates platforming, stealth, and puzzles all inside a 2D title, all the while telling an interesting narrative. This game keeps you interested with its gameplay mechanics involving two characters at the same time, and you can learn more about it on the official Steam page here.
The Enemy and Mui’s Journey Part 2 are your fifth and sixth chapters in Planet of Lana 2, and this walkthrough discusses all of the puzzles that you’ll encounter in these chapters in great detail.

Chapter 5: The Enemy
Once the cutscene ends at the start of the chapter, push the crate on your right side to the left and stand on top of it to look outside the gap in the wall. Another cutscene plays, and after this, you’ll take control of Mui.
Next, you will need to press and hold the colors in a specific order to help Mui escape, and the order is purple, blue, blue, purple, and green. Use your special ability after this to break out of the cage.
Once free, jump to the vent on your left and make your way to the generator on your right. Use your ability here to open the path forward for Lana as well.
In the next room, use Lana to move the platform with the crate towards the switch, and once the whole mechanism is on top of the switch, have Mui use its special ability on the crate. The crate will fall down, and before it returns, quickly move the platform out of the way by using the switch near Lana.
Mui should now be able to use its ability on a crate below, and doing so will power the lift for Lana in the other room. Once Lana has descended, make Mui use its ability on the crate again so it falls down towards Lana.
You should be able to control the box as Lana and move it in the order of left, up, right, and down to open the door in this room.
Making An Escape
The next puzzle first requires you to use Mui to press the switch up above, which moves the metal crate near Lana to the right. Next, command Mui to use its special ability near the black box so that Lana can take control of it.
Once you have control of the box, make the following inputs: right, up, right, up, left, and down. This stacks the box over the crate and allows you to jump up above.
Once you’ve made your climb, take control of the box again and put in the following inputs: left, down, right, up, and right. This opens the door near Lana, and you can turn the switch in the very next room to reunite Lana and Mui.
Continue right, and you will come across two security cameras. Wait for the first camera to look away and quickly run under the first generator.
Use Mui’s special ability on the generator to disable the second camera in the room. Quickly run to the right side and use Mui’s ability on the generator here to unlock the door.
You’ll finally get outside, but now it is going to be a run-and-jump situation. The next section requires you to perform quick platforming over multiple flying ships to make your escape.
Exploring The Forest
After escaping, you will arrive in a forest, which is the first major environment change in this chapter. Keep moving right in this area and make Mui jump on platforms to get across the pond. Run away from any projectiles that you encounter here, too.
A new gameplay mechanic is introduced in the next section, which includes a moving boulder. Climb on top of it as Lana and bait the boulder to the right by using Mui. Once you jump to the top, call Mui to join you.
In the next hurdle, make a dive in the pond and bring the bark upwards so Mui can use it to get to the other side. As soon as you get to the other side, use Mui’s special ability here to take control of a flying insect.
You can use this insect to store water from the pond, and that water can be used to make the yellow flowers grow. There are four yellow flowers that you need to water here; two can be found directly above the pond, and one is located on each side of the pond.
Once the flowers have been watered, they’ll grow long and can be used like ropes by Lana to climb up to the next area. Start climbing from the left-most flower and reach the top.
You will need to make a run in the next section. Quickly sprint away from the projectiles and climb up near the rope. Stay hidden in the grass up top and command Mui to cut the rope, which allows you to get to the next section.
Finding The Village
You will come across another pond where you will need to dive and swim to the left side to find the plant that allows you to swim underwater with Mui.
Once you grab Mui, make another dive, but this time on the right side, and use Mui’s ability to unlock the barrier to proceed forward.
A trap is waiting for you next. Quickly run towards it to trigger the mechanism and then sprint backwards. Get on top of the platform that drops and command Mui to bait the boulder on the upper right side.
As Mui baits the boulder, Lana will be pulled upwards. Next, get on top of the boulder and bait it to the left side to escape from this section. Do not forget to call Mui back before leaving.
Another trap awaits you next, but this time, you’ll need to get stuck inside the cage. Once the cage drops on Lana, send Mui to the upper-right section and use its ability to get control of the flying insect.
As the insect, collect water from the pond and spray it on the wheels placed on the bark on your left side. Spray the wheels enough times so that they align with the yellow cloth on the bark. Drop water on the left side of the first wheel and the right side of the second to align them. Once that happens, the cage goes back up, and you can get out as Lana.
Before moving ahead, make sure to bait the trap by using a flying insect this time. This allows Lana to use the cage as a platform to climb up.
You will come across a flying robot next, which can be dealt with pretty easily. Just command Mui to get on top of the bot and use its special ability to stagger the robot. Lana can hack the staggered bot to put it out of action. Follow the boy that you just saved to get to his village.
Exploring The Village
Keep going right after entering the village, and you should arrive near a movable cart. Firstly, push the cart to the right to fill it with water and then to the left so that you can use the water to make the yellow flower grow. Use the enlarged plant to jump on top of the cart and get across.
As you continue forward, you will find yourself inside a cave, which is your next site for exploration. You will need to complete a ritual here to progress.
The Music Puzzles
Keep descending further into the cave, and you will find some symbols inscribed onto the wall here. You will need to play some notes here in a specific order to continue.
- Watch the inputs of the symbols at the bottom of your screen and input the third symbol.
- Next, input the first two symbols simultaneously, followed by the third symbol again
- Finally, input the symbol in the middle two times to solve the puzzle and move forward.
Keep exploring further in the cave, and you should arrive at the next puzzle section. Interact with the symbols to bring out your flute and start the trial.
- Input the middle symbol first, followed by the first two symbols simultaneously.
- The next two symbols that need to be pressed include the third symbol first and the middle symbol next.
- Press the third symbol again at the end to complete the puzzle and continue with the trial.
Climb out of the cave next and head left to interact with the tree and start another section of the music puzzle.
- Start by pressing the second and third symbols simultaneously.
- Next, press the first two symbols at the same time.
- Input the third symbol next, followed by the symbol in the middle.
- Lastly, input the second and third symbols simultaneously again to finish the trial.
A cutscene plays once you complete the ritual, after which you need to head left to get back to the village. Keep heading left in the village to reach the next section in this chapter.
Finding The Drill Tower
You will now start infiltrating an enemy area. Begin by removing the vent to clear your path in the initial section. Then, command Mui to stagger the robot above you by using its special ability. Send Mui to attack from the left side of the building. This gives you enough time to run out of the bot’s reach by sliding under the wall.
Remove another vent here to get to the next section. Run to the other side of the structures here while staying out of the flying robot’s light. Climb the ledges at the end and head left to activate a switch.
A lift becomes functional, and you will need to command Mui to stand on top of it. Take the lift up and get Mui to jump on top of the robot, where you’ll need to use Mui’s special ability. Once the bot is staggered, get close to it and take control of it.
With the flying at your disposal, move to the far fight side past the large drill. Go up on the right side of the building and use Mui’s ability near the generator here. Next, go left near the red glowing ball and destroy it.
Now you will need to ascend from the left side of this building and use Mui’s ability on the generator there.
Move inside the building from here and go to the right side, where you’ll find another generator. Use your ability on the generator here and destroy the red ball in this area while staying out of the security camera’s sight.
There is one last ball that you need to destroy, and it can be found on your left from the second ball’s location. Disrupt the generator here and destroy the glowing ball by shooting it multiple times to initiate a cutscene.
Now you will take control of Lana again. Just keep moving right and go through a series of cutscenes to complete The Enemy chapter in Planet of Lana 2.
Chapter 6: Mui’s Journey Part 2
Once you wake up as Mui, go left and sit on the flying bed to take control of it. Once you leave this bed, keep continuing right to trigger a cutscene, which results in the completion of this chapter. It was a pretty short chapter and has a more narrative focus rather than gameplay.
