Planet of Lana 2 is an amazing platforming experience with a really deep story connected to the gameplay. Controlling Lana and Mui at the same time feels so fluid, and the developers have used this mechanic to create some of the most thought-provoking puzzles. Chapters 7 and 8 are titled Revenge and Temati’s Journey respectively in Planet of Lana 2. These are the last two chapters in the main story, and you will finish the game after completing these chapters!

Chapter 7: Revenge
Once the cutscene at the start of the chapter ends, keep moving right to reach your first hurdle. Stagger the flying robot here by making Mui jump on top of it and take control of the bot using Lana. Next, make Lana jump on the platform and use the robot’s special ability to pull this platform up.
Before this platform goes back down, jump to the next piece. Use the robot’s ability to move the gate next to you, which will then reveal ledges that Lana can use to climb out of here.
Do not lose control of the robot yet; you’ll need it in the next section. Firstly, use the bot’s ability to move the large metal piece to the left. This allows you to pass over the water.
When you reach the other side, use the bot to pull on the gate here, which allows Lana to cross. Make sure to cross before the gate falls back down. Command Mui to drop the rope on the other side of the gate so you can progress further.
Exploring The Wasteland
You will now come across a robot, which you’ll need to stagger using Mui to progress ahead. Wait for the security camera to look on the right side, then quickly stagger the bot by using Mui’s special ability, and run to the right and remove the vent to hide under the gap.
Remember to call Mui back while the bot is staggered and continue ahead when the camera is looking away. The next section also involves an encounter with a robot. There is a gate here that automatically closes and opens with a security camera. Send Mui near the generator up top and get ready to disable the camera.
Once the robot goes on the other side of the gate, disable the camera, run towards the gate, and climb onto the ledge near the left side of the gate.
Once the robot goes left, drop down from the ledge and run to the other side. Make sure to disable the camera again using Mui if it starts up.
Jump down in the next room and stay hidden near the wall on the left side to stay out of the robot’s watch. Command Mui to disrupt the generator on the right side, then make a run towards the vent. Remove the vent to escape this area, and do this when the robot has turned back.
The Underwater Sections
Your next section in this chapter involves a bit of diving. Start by diving to the bottom and bringing the platform up for Mui to jump on. Take it to the left so Mui can get on it, and then move it to the right so that Mui can jump inside the sewer pipe.
Dive down as Lana next and continue swimming right while catching your breath along the way. You will find two security cameras in your way, which can be disabled by using Mui’s ability on the generators above. Continue moving right after resurfacing.
You will need to remove some planks in your way and move some platforms in the water to help Mui get across this area with you in this chapter.
Next, you will come across a switch that can be pressed by commanding Mui. Pressing the switch moves the platform on your left to the other side of the wall.
You can use this platform to reach the crate above. Drop the crate down and push it towards the right side. This allows you to use the crate to jump up and reunite with Mui.
In the next section, jump in the water as Lana and make Mui go to the right platform in the room. Use Mui’s ability to take control of the small fish here. Dive to the security camera as the fish and drop a cloud of ink near the camera without getting spotted.
You will now be able to cross to the other side safely as Lana, by swimming through the cloud of ink. The next room houses the same puzzle as the one you just did. Dive as Lana and take control of the small fish using Mui again.
However, this time, the path that you must traverse as the fish is quite long and full of obstacles. Dive down, take a right at the end, and use the cloud of ink to get through the cameras.
Start swimming left when you reach the bottom. Quickly move past the moving platforms, jump across walls, and blind the cameras to reach Lana. Drop a cloud of ink in front of the camera near Lana. Now you can get to the lift up top using Lana, and use it to reach a platforming section, which will take you to the next area in this chapter.
Exploring The City
Your next area in this chapter is a giant city settlement. The initial sections involve basic platforming, but keep following the linear path to descend to your first hurdle in the city.
In your first puzzle room, send Mui near the box up above. As Lana, press the switch on your right to raise the platform on the right side of the room. Next, go to the lever next to the switch, and rotate it leftwards so much so that the metal crates above move in the opposite direction completely.
Now use Mui’s ability to drop the box and hack it as Lana to take control of this box. Make the box move in the directions right, up, right, down, and left. Next, rotate the lever rightwards and hold it so that the metal crate aligns above the box.
Move the box up and attach it to the metal crate. Now hold the lever in the left direction so that the box aligns with the blue platform. Finally, move the box down to unlock the door and press the switch to make the platform on your right descend. Use the lowered platform to continue.
You will come across a flying robot next. Command Mui to jump on it and stagger it so you can take control of the bot using Lana.
Fly the robot to the left side until you see an opening in the floor. You will find a lift here, which you’ll need to pull upwards using the robot’s special ability. Once it is high enough, make Lana get on the lift. Then keep pulling the lift upwards using the flying robot. Disrupt a generator by using Mui’s ability at the top and continue forward.
Keep moving right through the city, and hide from the security camera to get across. When the camera changes directions, that is your signal to move.
Descend through the city, and you’ll arrive at a barrier. Use Mui to disrupt the generator up top, and that should unlock the barrier. You will come across another flying robot next. Make Mui on top of it and get Lana to the right side of the room near the barrier. When the flying bot takes Mui near the generator, use Mui’s ability to unlock the barrier and proceed forward. Don’t forget to call Mui back after this.
Jump onto the rope and hold on to the rope on the other side of the barrier. Command Mui to climb near the generator and use its special ability to proceed ahead. Jump on top of the train at the end to get to the next area.
Traversing The Train
Keep moving right on the moving train and jump across compartments. Remove the planks at the end to enter the compartment with a crate. Command Mui to cut the rope here, and then move the box to the left.
Use the box to jump to the ledge and hang onto it to make it drop. Then, command Mui to go up and press the switch that unlocks the door in this compartment.
Your next puzzle involves a security camera with a movable platform. Use the lever to move the platform to the right, so you can move near the switch without being seen. Command Mui to press the switch, which changes the camera’s view and allows you to proceed.
The next hurdle requires you to be quick. A robot is standing watch in this compartment, and you will need to send Mui to the top of the room near the generator.
Use Mui’s ability near the generator, and that unlocks the door in the compartment. Sprint towards the door as soon as it starts going back down. This allows you to slide under the closing door and get out of the reach of the enemy bot. Continue right, and the train will eventually come to a stop. You will get off the train to enter the final section of Revenge in Planet of Lana 2.
The Secret Base
Keep continuing right after you get off the train, be ready to perform a bit of platforming on your way. You will eventually arrive in the room that houses your first puzzle in the secret base.
Start by commanding Mui to use its special ability on the black box on the right side, which causes the box to drop. Hack the box using Lana to take control of it. Move the box in an order of directions that includes up, left, down, and right. This allows you to jump on top of the box to go a little upwards.
When you reach the top, take control of the box again and move it up first, and then finally to the left. Jump on top of the box again and use it to climb the ledges to reach the top.
Jump on the platform on your left, which is holding a rock. Hang from this platform’s left side and take control of the box again. Move the box down, right, and up to make the platforms move. Make sure Mui is made to wait near the generator while you do all this.
Once the platform blocks the camera, jump down from it and use it as a shield against the first camera’s light. The second camera can be turned off by using Mui’s ability near the generator, where it was waiting.
You will be present on a moving conveyor belt here. Jump on top of the moving mechanism’s right side here to get across the first camera without getting spotted.
The next two cameras can be turned off by disrupting their generators. These generators can be found below the belt, and Mui can be commanded to turn them off using its special ability. The final boss battle starts once you go outside and keep moving right.
Final Boss Fight
The final fight involves a giant robot that shoots missiles. As soon as the fight starts, move to the right, slide under the wall, and make Mui jump on top of the flying robot here. Stagger the robot and hack it, so you can control it later in the fight.
Leave Mui here and run to the left as Lana, so the giant robot follows you. Once the robot nears the left wall, use the lever here to electrocute it. This reveals a generator near the head of the bot.
Now take control of the flying robot, and go near the generator. Use Mui’s ability to disrupt the generator, which reveals two red circles on the giant robot. Shoot these circles using the flying robot’s special ability to damage the giant bot.
After this, run to the right side and wait here for the robot to go near the left wall. Once it does, run towards the lever again and use it to electrocute the giant robot.
The generator reveals itself, and you can use Mui’s special ability to stagger the giant robot again. This reveals two yellow circles on the bot, which can be shot to finish the battle. A cutscene plays after this battle, which leads to the end of the chapter.
Chapter 8: Temati’s Journey
Temati’s journey only contains a series of cutscenes of Planet of Lana 2. There are no gameplay sections in this chapter. However, the cutscenes put an end to the main story, and you’ll finally arrive at the end of your journey in Planet of Lana 2. The credits start rolling after this chapter ends.
