Pragmata Walkthrough Part 2 – Mass Production Array

Welcome to the second part of our walkthrough for Pragmata.

After restoring power to the Lunar Facility and finding their way to the Shelter, Hugh must figure out how to contact Earth. The answer lies in the Comms Tower located in the Mass Production Array.

Test Site Entrance

From the Shelter, you’ll be able to take the Tram to arrive directly at the Test Site Entrance of the sector Mass Production Array. Your objective right now is to locate the Comms Tower and contact Earth.

Continue forward through the area and go up a set of stairs. You’ll spot a large door at the end of the walkway. Head toward it to trigger a cutscene where you see Diana almost fall off the ledge chasing a cat hologram.

Keep progressing through the area once the cutscene ends. Soon you’ll have your first encounter with a Spider. These are agile Bots that can charge at you from a distance. But once you hack them, you can easily knock them down using a single hit from your Grip Gun.

The left path, between the cargo containers, will lead you to a Mini Cabin figure. After defeating the Bot, you can head through the door on the right.

Turn left and move along the corridor. Beware of a Walker ambush.

Keep running forward, and soon you’ll reach an open area as Diana points to the Comms Tower in the distance.

Drop down to the road. Don’t worry, you won’t take any fall damage. But there are a couple of Walkers spread out around the area.

Take them down and keep heading toward the Comms Tower. This will trigger a cutscene as IDUS creates a barricade to prevent you from reaching the tower. Now you need to locate and hack six Beacons to unlock the path.

Luckily, the first Beacon is directly ahead of you near the barricade. Hack it to deactivate one of the locks.

Turn right and walk toward the door marked Area 2. You’ll have to hack the panel to open the door. Another cutscene will trigger as Hugh and Diana run away from some Executor Bots

After the cutscene, move forward to find the first Escape Hatch of the Sector. Activate it and return to Shelter if needed. You’ve arrived at the Shopping District – Entrance.

Continue moving along the passage next to the Escape Hatch. You’ll have to jump over a truck to continue forward. There’s a red locked door right in front of you.

This is a Red Zone, and to open the lock, you must use a Red Gate Key. You’ll find them by exploring the environment or completing certain challenges. Once you enter a Red Zone, you have to complete a gauntlet to loot the rewards.

Ignore it for now and head through the door on the right to reach a small square. Continue forward to spot a new weapon on the ground near a door.

Pick up the weapon to unlock the Riot Blaster. The area goes under lockdown, and you have to defeat the enemies that spawned to lift it.

Head in through the door to the Diner after destroying the Bots. You’ll find a Red Gate Key on the counter. Pick it up and use it to check out the Red Zone if you want. It’s an optional task, but you’ll be able to unlock a portion of Cabin’s Stamp Board and also loot a Pure Lunum upgrade material. It’s not that difficult, so we suggest giving it a shot.

Hacking Beacon #2

Just across the Diner counter, you’ll spot a hacking panel. Use it to lower the platform and hop on. Hack the panel again so that you can get on the path above.

Take down the Crusher that ambushes you and head through the door behind it.

You’ll be able to have a conversation with Diana about the mannequins in the next room. Turn right after the conversation and use the lift to head up.

Keep moving forward and turn right before the bookshelf to find yourself back outside.

You can see the Beacon on the street below you. Use the platforms to reach the locations.

As soon as you reach the Beacon, you’ll be ambushed by a group of Bots. Take them down.

Hack the Beacon when you’re able to and deactivate the second lock of the barricade. Head in through the door under the large Diana’s sign afterward.

You’ll spot two chests on the ground floor of the building. One of these will give you a Pure Lunum.

Go up the stairs and follow the path until you spot a hackable door panel. There’s a Holo-Wall on your left if you jump over the crates that will lead you to an ambush and some loot. When you’re ready, hack the door panel and head through.

Continue forward and enter the shop with the red sign. Make your way past the weird architecture till you spot a chest on the other side of some lasers.

Turn right and head along the path. There’s a Walker pretending to be a mannequin on your right. Take it out before it can ambush you.

The panel to deactivate the laser is above you on the right. Loot the chest for a Cabin Coin.

Continue along the path, and soon you’ll be able to pick up a Read Earth Memory hidden behind a shelf and some cardboard boxes.

As you move forward, you’ll fight two more Walkers. Take them down.

You’ll find a blue chest containing the Close Quarters Mod in the room after the fight.

Eventually, you’ll reach outside on a balcony near the barricade. Hack the panel nearby to create a bridge that leads over the street, all the way to the other side.

Run across the bridge to find another Escape Hatch. You have plenty of upgrade materials and Lunafillaments. Return to the Shelter and consider upgrading some of your stats and fixing up your loadout before moving on.

Interconnecting Passage

Hacking Beacon #3

Head to the far edge of the platform and drop down. You’ll land in an area blocked off from the rest of the streets.

As you land, you’ll spot a locked door on your left. Head to the other door and pick up the Charge Piercer before heading inside.

Take down the enemies as you enter the next section. Among other Bots, you’ll also have to fight an Executor this time. These are deadly enemies that can create shields that prevent hacking once you deal damage. When that happens, you’ll have to shoot the shields to unlock the hacking nodes in the matrix.

Continue along the alley and hack the terminal up ahead to lower the block. Then use it to climb up and move forward through the zone.

Continue moving across the platforms using your Thrusters to jump between them until you reach an open area.

You can see the Beacon from here. Use the platforms on the left to make your way to the Beacon.

NOTE: The area below is filled with enemies enemies that you’ll have to fight should you fall down. But there are also plenty of loot to be picked up here. We strongly suggest dropping down and exploring the section before moving on

Jump across the platforms. One of these will spawn a Missile Watcher. They are the same as the Watchers, but instead of locking on and firing a shot, Missile Watchers launch a homing missile toward you. You can hack the missile to send it back if you’re quick enough.

Hack the Beacon when you’re past the Bot. Three more to go!

Hacking Beacon #4

Turn left, and you’ll spot a path between the fence. The Read Earth Memory on the left can be accessed from the lower area. Jump to the path from the Beacon. Use the nearby lift to head up.

Enter the house. You’ll be able to have another conversation with Diana here. Exit the house through the opening at the other end.

You’ll spot the fourth Beacon below you. Drop down and get ready to fight. This is an ambush.

This can be a hard fight. The final wave even has an Executor along with other Bots.

Once the enemies are defeated, grab the loot in the area and then hack the Beacon. Head across the bridge through the door behind the Beacon.

You’ll find another Pure Lunum inside the chest in the room. Use the Escape Hatch next to the door to return to Shelter if you want to upgrade or heal.

Office Space

Hacking Beacon #5

From the Office Space Escape Hatch, head through the door next to the chest. You’ll spot a lift on your left. This leads directly to the fifth Beacon.

However, before you head up, go right and drop down to the street below. This will lead you to an optional area with a Red Zone gate.

But the more important part of exploring this area is through the door where you’ll find a conversation event for Diana and an additional Repair Cartridge.

When you’re done exploring the side path, head up the lift from earlier, then take another lift to reach the roof. Hack the Beacon to deactivate another lock. Only one left to go.

Turn left to spot another panel that you can hack. Go behind the garbage truck to find an elevator shortcut that you can activate as well.

Hacking the panel will create a half-bridge on the roof and another one right below. Run to the edge of the half-bridge and drop down.

Run across the bridge and enter through the door on your right.

Continue along the passage. You’ll spot a hackable panel on your left. Hacking it will break the Lim (the strange rock on the other side of the glass) and create a path for you through.

Drop to the lower floor and pick up the Decoy Generator Defense Unit. Then head into the room on the left.

Head to the far end of the room to spot a hacking terminal. At that point, you get ambushed by a group of Bots. You can hack the terminal to bring down lasers to damage the enemies. Take down the robots and head through the door at the end of the room.

This will bring you to a corridor. There’s a Holo-Wall (marked on the image above) at the end of the corridor.

Follow the corridor through the end to find a Read Earth Memory on a round platform.

Run to the edge of the platform and get on the beam on the other side. Then wait for an opening through the rotating laser and jump to the floor below.

Take out the Executor that drops in after you. Head through the door afterward.

You’ll see an Escape Hatch as you head inside. Activate it before moving on.

Recycling Control

Obtaining the Lim Eraser

When you’re ready to move on, turn right to spot a door heading into the next room. However, instead of using the door, climb on top of the container next to it. There’s a Mini Cabin figure inside the container.

Get on the pipes and use them to enter the next room. There are a few Bots in the room that you can take out safely from above. You’ll also find a Safebox containing a Cabin Coin here.

Drop down once the Bots are down and head through the door. Turn right to see a laser field blocking your path. Wait for the laser to power down, sprint forward, and use midair dodge to get across.

Head inside the room on the other side and interact with the terminal in the middle to unlock the Lim Eraser. You can now break the Lim Filament Masses that you’ve been seeing around the Cradle.

Hacking Beacon #6

Exit the room and use Lim Eraser to break the nearby masses. Drop down to the floor below and head through the door.

There’s another small door in the room. You can see a bunch of Bots behind glasses in the next room.

Head through the small door, and you’ll trigger a gauntlet of robots. Take them down. You can use the hacking terminal here to fire laser in the area, but you can only use it once.

Head through the passage where the Executor came from to spot the final Beacon. Hack it to deactivate the last lock on the barricade.

Proceeding to the Comms Tower

Turn right and head through the door after hacking the final Beacon. Use the lift in the next room to go up.

Use the Lim Eraser to return to the room with the Recycling Control Escape Hatch. Turn left to spot another filament mass that you can remove.

Head through the door behind the filament mass to exit the Recycling Center. Run to the filament mass at the end of the alley and remove it to return to the main street of the Mass Production Array.

There will be two Executors roaming around the street. You can take them down if you want or run past them.

Head toward the massive gate, and it’ll open.

Go forward, and you’ll spot an Escape Hatch up ahead, to your left. Activate it and return to Shelter to grab some final upgrades. We’re about to head into a boss fight.

How to Beat the Gigantic Bot

Take a few steps forward from the Escape Hatch to trigger a cutscene. This marks the beginning of the Gigantic Bot boss fight.

While the sheer size of the Gigantic Bot is enough to overwhelm you, the fight itself isn’t too difficult. The fight is split into several phases. For most of the early part, the boss will attack you using its arms and can also jump and slam down. Use dodge to move away from these attacks.

The boss has two weak points that you can expose by hacking. The first is on its face, and the second one is under the boss near its belly. The face is the easier target to hit.

Use high damage weapons like the Shockwave Gun or Charge Piercer to hit these weak spots after opening it.

The boss also has a laser attack that you can avoid by dodging to the side. By this point, it’ll also create shields to prevent you from hacking, similar to the Executor Bots.

Use the Grip Gun to destroy these shields and hack it to expose its weak points. The first time it creates the shields, there will only be two shields, both located on its shoulders.

After the boss’s HP goes down to around half, it will recreate the shields. This time, there are four shields, two on the shoulders and two on its knees. The idea is the same as before; take out the shields, hack the boss, and keep attacking its weak points.

At this point, the boss will also gain a few new attacks that target the ground. It will also create buildings with lifts on the side that you can use to climb up.

The key to avoiding these big attacks is to use the lifts to climb up to the roof of the buildings.

From here, you can also target the shields on its back that it creates for the last time. But you can’t get too reckless, as the boss can break these buildings and put you in a bad position. Jump off and use your Thrusters to get to a safe distance if it gets close to the building that you’re using.

When the boss’s HP drops to zero, a cutscene will trigger. Pick up the Shelter License Key afterward.

You’ll eventually see a final cutscene where the cat hologram from earlier talks to Hugh and Diana, asking for help. A new map will unlock when you return to the Shelter, and that will be your next destination: the Terra Dome.

NOTE: Make sure you check out all the new stuff in the Shelter before you move on. With Lim Eraser unlocked, you can also explore the entirety of Solar Power Plant and most of Mass Production Array to pick up the collectibles.
