Pragmata Walkthrough Part 4 – Lunum Mines

Welcome to the fourth part of our walkthrough for Pragmata.

Hugh and Diana make their way to the Lunum Mines in search of IDUS’s mainframe. If they manage to reboot the mainframe, there’s a chance they might still make it out of the Cradle in one piece.

Mine Platform

As you arrive at the Mine Platform, continue heading forward through the doors up ahead.

As you reach the lunar surface, you’ll get a majestic view of the whole facility. Diana will point out the Nexus Tower. But sadly, we have to take the long way to get there.

After the cutscene, drop down through the hole to the bottom part of the wreckage. Note how you fall slowly because of the Moon’s gravity. Your thrusters will also push you further, but they will be harder to control when you’re at the lunar surface.

Keep following the path till you reach an elevator. This will take you to an excavation area. Jump and use your thrusters to reach the platform marked in the image above.

Jump across two more platforms to get to the next section. You can see some Spider Mk-II’s working on repairs nearby. They haven’t seen you just yet.

You can now drop down to the area below you and take out the enemies. Alternatively, if you’ve got ranged hacks activated and got a long-range weapon, you can take them out from a safe distance.

Once the bots are down, look for a hacking panel on the right side, where one of the Spiders was working. Hack the panel to lower a container.

Now you can use the container to reach the facility above.

Go inside and hack the door panel. Head through the door to trigger a cutscene.

You’ll get your first look at the LunaDigger.

You have to be careful with where you stand in this area. If you stand on land, the LunaDigger will dig out from underneath and attack you. There’s a platform you can spot in the distance. You can use your thrusters to cover most of the distance and then quickly run to the platform before the LunaDigger can reach you.

Head through the yellow door on the right and continue forward. You’ll reach a room with a couple of Bots. Take them down.

Turn left to spot a path leading to a stair. Follow the stairs and go forward to reach another door. Head through.

This takes you to another outside area where you need to avoid the LunaDigger. This time, however, there will also be a Missile Watcher you’ll need to watch out for. Take out the Watcher and jump to the broken staircase up ahead.

Follow the path upward and go through a door to spot an Escape Hatch. Activate it.

Crane Control Room Station

Exit the room through the door on the other end. You’ll find the Impact Barrier Defense Unit near the door. Remember to pick it up before moving on.

This brings you to another outside area. As expected, the LunaDigger is patrolling the area below. From here, you need to make it to the platform marked on the image above. There’s a yellow crane that you can stand on up ahead to get away from the LunaDigger if needed.

Once you make it to the safe area, look for a yellow door atop a broken staircase. You need to make a run for it.

There are two Watchers that will attack you once you get near the door. Take them down and head through the door.

As soon as you enter the room, you’ll get attacked by two Bots: a Spider Mk-II and a Crusher. Take them down.

Go up the stairs to spot another yellow door. This takes you back outside.

Turn right and jump down to the wreckage marked in the image above. This will trigger a cutscene where Diana shows you the entrance to the warehouse. But we don’t have a way to reach it right now.

There’s a pillar with a hacking terminal up ahead, slightly to your right. Follow the Lunafillaments on the ground to spot a set of stairs leading to it. But move quickly, or you’ll get ambushed by some Mk-II Walkers.

But it’s being guarded by a Gunner, which in such a tight spot can cause a lot of trouble. Take it down and hack the terminal.

Once the terminal is hacked, a container drops nearby. Use it to get to the door leading into the warehouse. Head in through the door and use the elevator to go down.

There’s an Escape Hatch inside and a Red Zone nearby that you can complete if you’ve got a Red Gate Key.

Lunum Mines Warehouse

After activating the Escape Hatch, go to the Red Gate and turn around to spot a container with a hacking terminal on it.

Hack the terminal to push it forward and clear a path for you. You’ll be doing some more block-moving puzzles soon.

Turn right to spot another container. Push it away and then push it again from the other side to clear the path for you.

Continue along the path and take out the enemies in the next room. There are some more blocks here that you need to arrange to progress.

To solve this puzzle, first hack the two blocks on the left and push them behind.

Then hack the bottom block on the right to move it to the left.

Finally, hack the block behind it to move it to the center of the room.

Look up to spot a panel on the ceiling. Hacking it opens a hatch above you that you can use to reach the next room.

Follow the path to reach another storage area past a yellow barrier. This will trigger a lockdown, and you face a gauntlet of enemies. Complete the gauntlet to lift the lockdown.

There are multiple collectibles in this room. But those are optional. When you’re ready, use the broken stairs on the left to go to the room on the upper floor.

There’s a chest here containing a Pure Lunum. Pick it up. Then hack the panel next to the black door and head inside.

Continue moving forward. You’ll reach a room with stacks of containes all around you. Follow the path and take down the two Walkers up ahead.

Keep moving forward and you’ll soon have to fight a Defender. If you’re struggling, try attacking it from above while standing on the containers.

Head through the door past the Defender. There’s a container here that you can use to reach the path above to the right.

This will bring you to another puzzler room with moving blocks. You can spot the exit to the left, but can’t reach it.

Solving the Warehouse Moving Block Puzzle

Take a quick look around to spot the position of the blocks before dropping down. You need to arrange the blocks so that you can push a single block up ahead to the stairs and use it to get across, as shown in the image above. But to be able to push it, you need to be able to get close enough behind it to hack it.

Drop down to the lower section and go right to spot a block on the floor. Push it forward along the wall three times. We’ve marked it on the image above.

Then get on top of it and push both the bottom and top on your left forward.

Return to the main part of the room and push the block above you on the right-side wall all the way forward.

Go to the first block that you pushed after dropping down, and jump over it. There’s a corridor past it that takes you behind the blocks on the left side of the room.

From here, you’ll want to push the bottom block forward.

Now the blocks are arranged in a way that you can reach the top-left block.

From here, you can access the back side of the block that you need to move to complete the puzzle.

Use the lift at the top of the room to exit the area. This will bring you to another Escape Hatch. Save your progress and return to the Shelter to heal up if needed.

Exiting the Warehouse

Go out through the door next to the Escape Hatch. You’ll see a large mining rig up ahead. Head toward it.

Hack the panel on the mining rig to get it moving. As it moves, you’ll get ambushed by a bunch of enemies. Take them down.

The final phase has you fighting against an Air Raider, which is pretty much a mini-boss. So be prepared for a tough fight.

Wait for the mining rig to take you to the next section. Go in through the door to enter the Mining Control Room. Activate the Escape Hatch and head into the next room through the door.

Mining Control Room

You’ll reach another outside area. Fortunately, you don’t have to worry about the LunaDigger attacking you here. There’s a door at the far end of the area. Head toward it. Make sure you hug the left side to get a conversation event with Diana.

The door takes you to a ruined facility. Make your way forward through the ruins.

You’ll run into an ambush as two Spiders attack you. Take them down and head through the door behind them.

Note the black and blue stuff on the ground. Touching them reduces Diana’s Hacking Gauge. Head toward the door while avoiding the black stuff.

As you reach a bridge, a Walker notices you. But the black stuff that you’ve been seeing merges with the Bot, turning it into an Anomalous Walker. These enemy variants are tankier and have purple static nodes that reduce your Hacking Gauge when you pass through them.

Enter through the door at the other end after defeating the enemy. You’ll spot a door on the right leading to Area 3. Jump across the gap and head through the door.

You’ll find a Red Gate Key on the table in the next room, along with another Escape Hatch.

Logistics Management

Head out through the door near the Escape Hatch to reach another open area. There are a lot of enemies up ahead but most of them are out of reach at the moment. You’ll trigger a short cutscene as you enter this section.

There’s also a Gunner on the broken bright up ahead that will start attacking you if you get close. You’ll want to take it out first.

From the edge of the platform, turn left. There’s a hacking terminal on the small platform above the stairs. Activate it to drop a container.

Jump across the gap using the container and to the structure on the right to reach a safebox. But the main reason why we came here is to take down the Executor in the caged area up ahead. You can take it out safely from this spot.

Return to the container you dropped earlier and take a look at the lower area. There’s an Executor patrolling the zone and two Walker Mk-II‘s guarding the stair leading to the caged area on the right.

You can shoot the enemies from your current location to bait them toward you and take them out. They won’t be able to reach you. It’s better to do this instead of dropping down since the LunaDigger will also attack you. There are also some Lancers on the left side of the zone that you’ll need to worry about.

When it’s safe, drop down and run toward the area where the two Walkers were standing. Go up the slope and break the Lunafillament mass.

Enter the yellow security barrier in the caged area to get ambushed by an Executor. Since you already took out one earlier, you’ll only have to fight one this time.

You’ll have to fight some more Bots including a Defender to complete the gauntlet.

After defeating the enemies, look for a stair near where the Executor came from. This will lead you to a hacking terminal. Hack it to drop another container in the open area.

Go back down the way you came. Unfortunately, you can’t reach the container from the bottom area.

Run to the left and you’ll spot a door up a set of stairs. Head through the door. Make sure you’re using your thursters to avoid the LunaDigger.

This will take you to the first section of the area. Jump across the bridge and the container to reach the yellow door on the other side.

Head inside to spot a Training Data and an Escape Hatch up ahead. Activate it and return to the Shelter to upgrade your stats and items before moving on.

The Nexus Tower

From the Escape Hatch, head through the nearby gate to reach a wreackage. Drop down to the lower floor to continue forward.

You’ll spot a tunnel at the bottom floor. Head through it.

The LunaDigger will burrow past you as you enter. Don’t worry it won’t attack.

Continue forward once it’s gone until you reach another section of the facility.

There’s a Watcher and a Creeper here that you have to take out before you can move on.

Go through the door and drop down again to spot another tunnel you can enter.

There are a couple of enemies here that you’ll need to fight.

Once you defeat two Walker Mk-IIs and continue forward, you’ll see the face of a LunaDigger appear in front of you. Quickly run back and hide in one of the side sections, and wait for it to pass by.

When it’s gone, continue along the path. You’ll reach a cave. Keep moving toward the broken wall up ahead. You’ll be able to trigger a conversation with Diana in this area.

Turn right to spot a door in the distance. There’s an Escape Hatch just before it. Activate it and return to the Shelter to heal up. There’s a boss fight waiting for you as you go through the door.

When you’re ready to move on, go through the door and enter the dirt arena past the big door inside to trigger a cutscene.

How to Beat the LunaDigger

The fight against the LunaDigger is a long one. It’s an extremely tanky enemy and will constantly burrow underground disappearing from the arena.

When the fight starts, you’ll be standing on one of the three elevated platforms in the arena. You can get off a hack if you’re quick enough. This will make the boss open it’s mouth exposing it’s weak point.

The boss will be staggered for a short duration giving you an opening to deal damage. Hover in a way that you can target the mouth.

After you deal enough damage, the LunaDigger will move underground and destory the platforms. From this point, you’ll have to run around and use dodge to avoid getting hit by the boss. You can check it’s travel path by looking for the dust clouds on the ground.

During this phase, the boss will also occassionally fire missile barrages toward you from a distance. Dodge away from the red danger areas to avoid taking damage.

Once you take down the boss’s hp down about one third, it’ll lose a section of its armor near the head. From this point on, if you hack the boss, you can hit this area to deal additional damage.

However, the boss will also create drones that zoom across the arena toward you during this phase. You can hack them to send them toward the LunaDigger.

The rest of the fight remains pretty much the same. The boss mostly uses the same attacks throughout the fight. You’ll be able to deal critical shot multiple times in the fight if you manage to deal damage consistently.

After defeating the boss, you’ll be able to grab another Shelter License Key to upgrade your Shelter Level.

Go through the door that opens after the fight to head toward the mainframe.

As you enter through the yellow door, you’ll spot more of those black stuff on the ground. Go to the large vault door on the other end and interact with it to trigger the final cutscene of the chapter.
