Pragmata Walkthrough Part 5 – Experimental Pragmatics

Welcome to the fifth part of our walkthrough for Pragmata.

In a shocking turn of events, Diana falls trying to protect Hugh. When the dust settles, Hugh must rush to the Experimental Pragmata to try and save Diana.

Arriving at the Experimental Pragmatics

After the cutscene, Hugh ends up back at the Shelter with Diana in his arms. The Cabin bot will guide you to the Special Tram that will take you to Experimental Pragmatics.

Head to the Tram and hop on board.

After arriving at the Pragmatics Site Platform, continue moving through the empty facility.

Head toward the machine up ahead to trigger a cutscene. Unfortunately, the machine doesn’t have enough power to remove the dead filament. So you’ll have to find an Energy Reactor.

Go through the door on the right side and follow the path upstairs.

Finding an Energy Reactor

As you head through the door at the top, you’ll get attacked by a Walker. Trouble is, Diana is sick, and you’ll see purple corrupted nodes appear on the hacking matrix that slow down the hack and also drain your hacking gauge.

Take down the Bot and continue forward to fight two more Walkers.

Head up the stairs once they are down and through the door to the next room. You’ll spot dead filament all over the ground. They will drain your hacking gauge even more and cause additional purple corrupted nodes to appear. Jump and get past them using your thrusters.

You’ll have to fight a Walker Mk-II as you get across. So try not to get hit by too much of the dead filament.

As you enter the next room, you’ll spot the Energy Reactor in the area below.

Continue walking toward it while avoiding the black filament. You’ll be ambushed by two Watchers as you approach the door.

Head through the door and go up the steps to trigger a cutscene of Dr. Higgins and Diana.

Keep moving forward. You’ll reach an area with destroyed buildings.

Up ahead, you’ll see another holo-projector of Dr. Higgins and Diana unveiling more of the story.

Follow the path to spot a hacking terminal. Hack it to activate an elevator that will take you down to the lower levels.

You’ll fight a Lancer and a Watcher Mk-II when the elevator comes to a stop.

Continue forward to reach a corridor with more dead filament.

As you jump across the first part, you’ll spot a Crusher Mk-II entering through the door at the other end. Take it down.

Keep moving forward. You’ll enter another room where you have to fight some more Bots.

Take down the enemies and continue along the path. You’ll reach an elevator that takes you to a room filled with some large security bots. But they are powered down.

Run to the other end of the hall and take the stairs on the right to reach a gallery where you can trigger another cutscene.

Continue to the next room and climb up the stairs to reach the upper floor. There’s another door here that you can take.

As you enter the next room, you’ll see a projection of Dr. Higgins. Hack the terminals on the left to disabel the laser and head inside.

In the small room, remove the filament with the Lim Eraser to uncover the hacking terminal. Deactivate the laser and head through.

In the next room, you have to remove the filament and look past the door to spot the hacking terminal. Deactivate the laser and exit the room.

You’ll see a hologram of Diana and Daisy.

Go left toward the laser and look up to spot the terminal to deactivate it.

Enter through the door up ahead and keep walking until you reach the room with the Energy Reactor. Pick it up.

Saving Diana and Unlocking a New Ability

As soon as you pick up the Energy Reactor, you’ll get ambushed by a bunch of Bots. Take them down.

After the fight, Diana becomes exhausted and falls.

Once the cutscene ends, go through the door up ahead and continue forward. You’ll spot another hologram of Dr. Higgins in a room.

Head through the door here to reach back to the decontamination chamber that you entered at the beginning of the chapter. Run to the device to trigger a cutscene.

As the machine starts fixing Diana, you get ambushed by an unnamed Bot.

With Diana decommissioned for now, you have to fight off the Bot by yourself. Fortunately, you don’t have to defeat it. Just survive for 30-40 seconds to trigger a cutscene.

Press the prompt button to use the Deletion Protocol, an upgrade over the Overdrive Ability, and the Bot will go down.

Once the fight is over, head through the door up ahead. You’ll spot some red crystals in the corridor.

With Diana’s upgrade, you can now use the Cleanse ability to get rid of these crystals. Head toward the crystal to trigger a tutorial pop-up that shows you how to use this ability.

Continue following the path, cleansing the crystals along the way, and enter the Tram to return to Shelter.

When you get back, the Central Port terminal will be open, which is our next destination. However, before you head there, it’s a good idea to backtrack through the previous zones. With Cleanse unlocked, you can get 100% completion for all the earlier areas.
