Discover everything you need to know about getting to the Weather Tower in the Prologue Go Wayback walkthrough, including some tips.

You begin your journey as Lucy, who must go to the Weather Tower. You start the game in a rather comfortable cabin. This cabin is the same at the beginning of each run. You have a compass and a map to set your journey. Locating the Weather Tower can be challenging, as you need to pass through several areas and survive the harsh environment of the world.
Make sure to cook the food, drink the water, and light the fire on your journey. Learn how to reach the Weather Tower in Prologue: Go Wayback. The Weather Tower is one of the trickiest objectives because the path is not obvious. The rainy weather season adds a new layer of complexity to the game.

Explore the First Cabin
Once you initiate the game, you will find yourself in a cabin. The cabin has a nice kitchen, where you can cook.

Go near the washbasin in the kitchen area and press the E key to collect the food items. There’s also a water bottle that is a crucial item to pick when you find one.
Explore the cabins thoroughly and find the useful items that you can use during your journey. You already have a backpack. Hold the RMB to move the item and the mouse wheel to rotate items.

You need to move the items from the hotbar to the drawstring backpack to use them later in the game. Placing the item in the ground section means you will drop that item. Make sure to drop survival things like the Post-It, Compass, Flashlight, and Flint from the table.
Although there’s a washbasin in the kitchen, there isn’t any water. Acquiring water is not challenging in this game, but it has a poisoning effect.

Open your map and see where you are and where the game wants you to go. You’re at the west of the map. Your goal is to go directly east because there’s a cabin over there. After that, you will go directly south once you find that to follow the river down.

Go to the back door of the cabin and turn to the left. Go past the generator and collect the hammer from the shelf.
How To Light a Fire

Before you head out, you need to light and fire and warm yourself up a bit. Lighting a fire can be challenging in Prologue Go Wayback because you need some materials for it.

You need to collect the small, easily combustible items like paper, cardboard, or dry paper. Find the Kindling, which are larger items like sticks or small branches.

Place logs or chunks of wood on top to burn for a longer duration. Destroy the furniture in the cabins using the hammer in your inventory to acquire the wood. Igniting the wet items will take longer to get ignited or may not ignite.
Place the tinder on a stable, non-flammable surface. Now, put the kindling over the tinder, creating a small bundle. Be careful while placing the logs or fuel on top of the kindling. The fire needs to be built from the bottom up, so place the most flammable items at the base and the longest-burning items at the top.

You need to ignite the tinder using the fire starter items like a match, lighter, or ferro rod. Use the ferro rod to strike it to create sparks. The flames will start spreading to the kindling and then to the logs after the tinder is lit. Once the fire burns, you can add more fuel to keep it going.
Once you keep yourself warm, head out of the cabin. Take out your compass to continue your journey.

The mouse wheel axis can rotate the dial and press the RMB to look through the reticle. Make sure you’re not wasting time out there. You can’t just be sitting around in a cabin the whole time. Your goal is to follow the compass and find the cabin.

On the way, you will find a cabin quickly. Explore this cabin thoroughly and find the useful items to pick.
I recommend you light the fire here too and get dry if you came into the cabin all wet.

Consume the food you locate from the cabin to maintain your hunger level in a good state. Make sure you have a Ferro rod and a knife in your backpack before heading out.
Head to the East
Move outside the cabin and follow the compass to make your way to the east. Soon, it will be turning the dark clock out.

Continue heading to the east side after passing through the swamp area.
Place the flashlight in your Hotbar from the Drawstring backpack to keep moving in the dark. However, you can use a flashlight and a compass at a time. This means you can’t use a compass while holding a flashlight and vice versa.

On the way, you will find mushrooms on the ground. Press the E key to take it into your inventory or hold the E key to eat it directly. I recommend adding it to your inventory and cooking it to gain more benefits.
You will also encounter some antique pieces on the ground and a broken wooden structure on your way to the east.

At this time, your hunger and water levels will be very low. You need to cook some food and drink water. Eventually, you will find a wooden structure, but it’s not a cabin.
Approach the structure and get inside to pick up the upgraded backpack.

You will also get the leather backpack from this structure, so make sure to take it. This backpack will have additional slots, allowing you to store more items you find during your journey.

Head out and take out your compass to keep moving to the east side. You will find the other cabin, but if it’s raining, then you need to hurry and get inside this shelter.

Investigate the cabin completely and acquire the water bottles from here. Consume the food items to keep your hunger level in a good state.
Continue the Run
Head out of the cabin and keep moving to the east. The weather will change into snow, and it will highly impact your journey.

The snowy weather will let you start freezing if you stay outside the cabin for a long time. Make sure to eat the food items and find the other cabin as quickly as possible.
Once the needle of the temperature bar drops to zero, your run will end, and you will die from hypothermia.

Eventually, you will find the watch tower while moving to the north. There’s plenty of loot over here.

There are pieces of wood and an ignitor. Use them to light the fire to keep your body warm. However, you can’t break the chair using the hammer here.

Once your body temperature is normal, head out and continue moving to the north.

On the way, you will find another watch tower. So, head inside and light the fire to stay active in your run. Loot the crucial items from this tower and head out.
How To Get Water
You need to keep moving near the river because you can get the water whenever you need. Drink the water directly by standing on either mud or snow on the ground when you find the river. However, it will somehow inflict a poisoning effect and slowly drain your hunger meter. Once the water meter is very low, you can drink from the river directly. Make sure you have enough food to survive the poisoning effect because hunger will take your life.

Find the other cabin in the world after acquiring a decent supply of water and filling up the water meter. You can locate the hydration items like soda and jugs. Make sure to pick them up because they allow you to stay hydrated without suffering from poisoning effects.

You can find these items in the cabins and towers, allowing you to keep your water meter up. Pick up the basic food from the cabins, which are sometimes more crucial than the water.

Leave a water bottle, container, or jug outside when it’s raining. The container, bottle, or jug will fill up with water once you leave it out throughout the day or night.
Make sure you have enough carrots in your inventory because they provide you with 140 calories and 0.07 water.

Eventually, you will find the cabin on your way to rest for a while.
Search the cupboards in this cabin to acquire the useful items. You can get the tin can of food. Consuming it allows you to gain 520 calories and -0.05 water.
How To Cook
Now, you need to cook the food items to settle down the hunger level. Locate food items and a cooking pot, and keep the pot in your hotbar for easy access. Open your inventory and place food items and some water into the cooking pot. Keep checking the pot’s limited space. Use your fire starter or other fuel to light a stove or fireplace.

You will need a heat source to cook. Make sure to move the pot containing the ingredients onto the lit stove burner. Hold the ‘E’ key to open the cooking menu. Now, let the food cook. The calories will increase, and the water content will decrease.

Cook canned goods to around 800 calories for the best results. Cooking too long will decrease the calorie count, so make sure to remove the food when it reaches its peak.
How To Build
Make sure to close the window of the cabin from the outside. But the window doesn’t close fully. So, you need to build.

Take the wooden plank from the nearby and press the F key to hold it under your arm.
Boards and wooden planks can be located from the cabins or outside of them. Pick up the boards and store them by pressing F so they are held under your arms. Assign the hammer to a quick-access slot on your hotbar. Hold the hammer. A build menu will appear, showing your available structures.

Use the mouse wheel to rotate the structure to the desired angle before placing. With the boards under your arms and the hammer equipped, hold down the hammer button to bring up the build menu.

Hit the LMB to place the boards in the world. You can rotate the boards to your liking. Click the left mouse button again to finalize the placement. Fix all the windows using the wooden planks and a hammer.
Make Your Way to Shelter
Head out of the cabin and open your map to set your journey.

You will soon find yourself near the river. But the path here will be filled with snowy rocks. Keep moving in a straight direction and get to the shelter on the left.
Head inside the shelter and light a fire to keep the body temperature warm.

Use the same mechanics of lighting a fire that I discussed earlier. After that, head to the west side of the map.
There is a mud path on the way, so moving here can be difficult. However, you came across the cabin over here.

Collect the useful items from the cabin to use them when required. Make sure to collect the clean socks from one of the cupboards. Hold the E key to swap the socks.

Approach the washbasin and pick up the Smoked Salmon from there. Consuming it allows you to gain 150 calories and 0.2 water.
Find the River
Once the weather changes to sunny, head out and keep moving to the north. You need to find the river to drink the water, as your water level is very low.

Open the map to see your current location and choose the next destination point.
Pass through the rocky areas and approach the river water, and press the E key to drink. However, drinking the river water can cause poisoning effects, and your hunger level will decrease quickly.

Go to the other side of the river. So, you will somehow get wet while passing through.
Once you’re wet, you need to dry your clothes. Find the dry wood from the ground and drop it in one place. Use the ignitor to light the fire and rest for a while to dry the clothes.

After that, continue moving to the north side. You will come across another river and a rocky path around it. Go to the other side of the river and keep moving to the north.
Find the Weather Tower
Once you keep moving ahead, you will find another cabin. Head inside and light the fire to dry the clothes and maintain body temperature.

Head out of the cabin and go south. Make sure to go to the other side of the river.

Continue moving to the west this time and collect the sticks on your way. The rain will start soon, and you need to find the cabin to get inside quickly.
Wait for this weather to be away. Once the storm is done, head out and continue your journey. Head directly west and follow northward on the mountain line.

Regardless, you will hit water sooner or later; that’s an indication of where you need to be.
You can see every cabin on the map as well, making your journey easy. You will soon get into the cliffy zone, meaning you need to go to the southwest now.

After a while, continue moving north. You need to climb the mountain to get to the top.
Find the best path to reach the top of the hill. You will find the Weather Tower while climbing the hill.

You can recognize the tower with its unique color pattern.
Approach the Weather Tower and use the stairs to move up.

Go to the top floor of the tower by taking multiple sets of stairs. On top, you will get into the control room. Make sure you have food items in your inventory.

You will see your journey on the map in one of the big rooms at the top of the Weather Tower.

Grab the flare from the table and shoot it to extract and finish your run in Prologue: Go Wayback. You will finish the game and see your exploration stats on this page.
