Day 13 and Day 14 are days when Quarantine Zone: The Last Check starts throwing new tricks at you. Some survivors display no symptoms at all and you get a gun to deal with them. You will also receive a portable X-ray machine to check internal organs. Read on to avoid mistakes.
Quarantine Zone: The Last Check is a randomized game and will produce different results for different players. This walkthrough documents our specific playthrough to victory. Symptoms, survivor traits, and obtainable items are randomized each time you play, so your experience may vary.
Day 13
Control Shot
The day starts with you getting reports that virus has mutated.
I checked the bulletin board and found two requests per usual. “Thermopulsometer Moratorium” and “Wanted: Explosive Expert”. The first one is self explanatory at this point and the second one would see me find someone who has grenades in their backpack and eliminate them.
Next, I picked up the gun from the table in front of Georgie.
I then checked the quarantine and assigned survivors accordingly. If they still show sick symptoms, leave them there. If they have stopped showing symptoms move them to survivors block and if they have major symptoms liquidate them. In my case I held back two and sent two to the survivors’ block. For the first inspection I had Dans Gaming and he came back clean on everything so I sent him to the Survivor’s Block.
The next guy Anthony Martinez had no symptoms and I had no way of checking his temp and pulse without failing the request so I let him go to the Survivor’s Block.
The next survivor was Zoe Thomas, who also showed no symptoms – reflexes were normal, no marks or bites and breathing was fine so I sent her the survivor’s block.
The next guy, Walter Miller had a bite on his right arm. So I liquidated him.
Suddenly the major called in and said to get a new gadget. The X-Ray machine.
So I tried it out on the next survivor. Everything looked clean so I assigned Sofia Sanchez to the Survivors Block.
The next guy Ryan Murphy had a lemon in his backpack and hole in his lungs so I decided to send him to Quarantine for now.
I confiscated weapons off the next woman but she had no other symptom except discoloration on one of her organs. So I sent her to the laboratory.
The next woman had a bunch of Ignitable Lemons in her backpack.
So I sent Naomi Evans to liquidation. Do not confiscate the lemons as it will be tagged as incorrect and deduct 100$ every lemon.
The next survivor had skin rashes and red bruising on her leg. So I sent Abigail Harris to quarantine. The next survivor, Edward Carter, had Red Eyes, so that’s an immediate liquidation.
The last guy had bruising on his back. He also had a hole in his lung. I shot him to test the gun out and turns out he was infected. I completed the Thermopulosmeter Moratorium request since I didn’t use it at all today. I went to the lab next and extracted the sample from the woman I sent there and earlier and discovered the Nosebleed symptom.
I then ended the day.
Day 14
There were two requests – Public Image Campaign meaning I couldn’t eliminate anyone today and A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing for which I needed to confiscate a book called “How to quit smoking”.
I then checked the quarantine zone and assigned survivors accordingly. I sent one guy to the laboratory and the rest I held back. I then resupplied everything and went to the lab where I discovered a new symptom – Mouth Bleeding.
I upgraded the Stethoscope next – I got both the Amplified Sensors and the color indicator. I started inspections, and the first guy was bleeding from the mouth.
This guy will start a quest “Father’s Burden”. I sent Ronald Evans to Quarantine to see how things would play out. The next guy I tested came clean on every test. So I sent Gregory Phillips to the survivor’s block. The next survivor showed no symptoms. So I sent Brian White to the Survivor’s Block. The next survivor had black spots on his lungs at the back.
He was sick so I sent him to Quarantine. The next woman Aria Collins insulted me off the bat and had high temperature so I broke the moratorium and sent her to liquidation.
The next survivor had the book “How to quit smoking” so I confiscated it.
This completed the request Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing. I sent Ryan Carter off to Survivor’s Block as had no symptoms.
The next survivor had no symptoms, so I sent him to the block. The last person had conjunctivitis and nothing else but I had no space for her. So I sent her to the laboratory and discovered no new symptoms. I then ended the day.
