Quarantine Zone: The Last Check Walkthrough – Day 5 and Day 6

Day 5 and Day 6 are days where Quarantine Zone: The Last Check starts applying real pressure. More people pass through the checkpoint, rules get stricter, and you’re forced to make faster calls with less room for error. You go through your first Evacuation and then get the Scanner to add a layer of complexity to the inspections.

Day 5

After starting Day 5 head to the quarantine area.

There should be three survivors there. Check with the Thermopulsometer and the Hammer and if someone shows normal signs send them to the Survivor’s Block. I sent Charlotte Williams to the block.

Penelope King still had yellow eyes so I left her in the Quarantine Zone. Back at the checkpoint, I waved through the next survivor and checked his temperature and his pulse. Both were normal, then I checked his reflexes. He had yellow eyes so I sent Edward Gonzalez to the quarantine zone.

The next survivor, Henry Cook, displayed Hyperaggressive Reflex. But I didn’t have enough space in the Quarantine zone or the funds to upgrade. So I went back and rechecked Penelope King, and let her into the Survivor’s Block against my better judgment.

I then went back and sent Henry Cook to Quarantine. The next survivor was a skeleton with a paper bag on this head (?)

Normal temperature and reflexes so off he went to the Survivor’s Block. The next woman, showed Crossed Reflex and had high fever so I sent Ivy Smith to the liquidation chamber.

The next survivor was tricky. She didn’t display any symptoms other than Hyperaggresive Reflex but I had no space in the quarantine zone so I sent her to liquidation and took the penalty. The next survivor Anthony Martin was in a similar situation, just yellow eyes so I had to liquify him and take the penalty. The next survivor had Yellow eyes and Hyperaggresive Reflex so I sent him to Liquidation as well.

This time, he turned out to be infected, so I lucked out. Nora Harris was the next survivor, and she showed no symptoms, so I sent her to the survivor’s block. The last survivor for the day was Scarlett Martin, and she had crossed reflexes, so I sent her to the liquidation chamber.

Once the shift is done, the next quest will start.

Departure on Schedule

You will need to evacuate the survivors now. Go to your room and start the evacuation.

During this part of the gameplay, you have two choices. You can send the survivors to the Science Truck, which will get you Research Points needed for Base Upgrades unlocks or you can send them to the Military Truck, which will get you cash to purchase upgrades.

The trick is to hit a balance. I had 11 Survivors. I sent 5 to the Science Truck and 6 to the Military truck. End the day by going to bed. The next evacuation will be in 5 days on Day 10.

Day 6

Naked Truth

Check the Base Building mode for any Resupply, specially the canteen and go see Georgie. He will give you the Scanner that can see through clothes.

My quarantine zone was full so I headed there to check and found that Edward Gonzalez had a high temperature. So I sent him to Liquidation. Also checked Luna Johnson, who had normal temp and reflexes and had no hidden bites. So I sent her to the Survivor’s Block. I then checked Henry Cook who had a bite mark on his leg which I missed the first time around and he had Hyperaggresive Reflex. So I liquidated him.

I checked the first survivor of the day, Walter Collins, with the Thermopulsometer, Hammer, and Scanner and he was clean. Survivor’s Block for him.

The next survivor Ronald Rogers had normal temperature and heartrate but had bruises and red skin. Reflexes were normal so I sent him to Sruvivor’s Block.

The next survivor Edward Gordon had elevated temperature and yellow Eyes. He had skin cuts under his sweater.

Reflexes were normal, so I sent him to Quarantine. The next survivor, Ella Nelson had Red Eyes. Despite everything else being normal, that’s an immediate liquidation.

The next Survivor Jose Gonzalez had no bites, elevated temperature, bruises and normal reflexes. So I sent him to Quarantine. The next survivor, had a bite on her back to go with her red eyes.

I sent her off to Liquidation. I then ended the day.
