Resident Evil Requiem Walkthrough – Care Center Courtyard

grace featured Resident Evil Requiem

Resident Evil Requiem features dual protagonists, Grace Ashcroft and Leon S. Kennedy. Both of these characters have very different playstyles. When playing as Grace Ashcroft, there are more survival horror elements. When playing as Leon, the gameplay focuses more on action. For more information, head over to its Steam page.

The Care Center is the biggest section in this game, and even after escaping the building, you still will not be done with this section. Now, you have to escape through the courtyard. This section will not be that long, so here I will tell you how to easily escape the Care Center through the courtyard in Resident Evil Requiem.

Find The Helicopter Key

You can escape the care center via the courtyard in Resident Evil Requiem.

As you escape the Care Center and move toward the helicopter, a cutscene will begin. Harry knows how to fly the helicopter, so you now have to find the key to escape. He will tell you where you can find the key. It is in the house right next to the helicopter.

You can enter. Do so and move ahead. Soon, you will find the storage area where you can store your items or even take out the ones you have already stored. On the opposite side, there will be a door. Enter it, and to the right will be something you can interact with.

The glass will not break even if you shoot it, so maybe you need something else. So, head over to what seems like an antique DNA analysis machine in front of the table. Interact with it, and you will have to insert something inside, probably another helix.

On the right side of this machine, you will notice that there are some weapons. To the left of the weapons display, there will be a bottle. Interact with the bottle and rotate it until it looks natural. It will not be too hard, so once it is done, pull apart the bottle, and you will get the Double Helix Model.

Now, before putting this inside the puzzle, head to the table and pick up the hourglass. Remove the bolts on both sides, and you will get an Antique Hourglass. Then, put the Double Helix Model inside the machine, and the room will turn into an elevator. Once you reach the lower level, move ahead, and there will be a typewriter for you to save your game.

Save your game and head further down. You will then reach the Collection and Testing area. There is nothing important in this area, so move ahead. Right next to the emergency evacuation route, there will be a map of the research facility. Then, head up the stairs on the left side.

Find The Helicopter Key

After heading up the stairs, go ahead, take a right, then a left, and enter the room on the right side. Enter another room, and on the north side, on the table, you will find the helicopter key. There will also be Mr. Raccoon, so destroy it if you have been destroying every single one.

Once you pick up the helicopter key, your objective will change to returning to the helicopter.

Return To The Helicopter

Now the doors will be locked, so you need to open them using the computer. Right next to where you picked up the helicopter key, there will be a monitor. Interact with it and select authorize to open the door. Enter the door you just unlocked, and a cutscene will begin.

Then the self-destruct protocol will be initiated, so you will have to escape the facility. There is nothing inside this room, so head out through the door on your right. Then head down, and there will be a lot of zombies in the Collection and Testing area. You can take care of the zombies by picking up the disposal tanks that can be found on the wall.

Aim and spray it on the zombies, and they will explode. You do not have to defeat all of them as your main objective is to head to the emergency exit. The door will now be unlocked, so immediately head there and keep moving forward.

Escape The Research Facility

Eventually, a short cutscene will begin featuring destruction. After that, head to the northeast side, and you will see some stairs. Head up the stairs and keep going up until you see another exit sign above a door. Follow the path, and to the right, there will be another exit door.

Go through the door and head up more stairs. As you are going up, an object from the right side will fall down the stairs along with blood. Make sure you are on the left side so you do not get hit. Then continue running ahead, and you will find a steel ladder on the right side at the end of the path.

Go up the ladder and escape the facility through the door.

Return To The Helicopter

Now head down the path, and there will be a zombie ahead. There is no need to eliminate the zombie, so simply move forward and climb through the window to enter the house. Then exit through the door to the right, and just ahead will be the helicopter. As you get close to the helicopter, a cutscene will begin.

With that, the Care Center courtyard section in Resident Evil Requiem will be over. When the intense cutscene is finished, you will play as Leon S. Kennedy. You will then see Leon’s point of view of what happened in the previous cutscene. Once the cutscene ends, your objective is to rescue Grace.

Rescue Grace

Vault over the window and head straight. Then go left and continue forward, then enter the room. On the window to the left, there will be some rifle ammo. Pick up the ammo and then, from the window, aim and shoot the zombies chasing Grace. Once you have shot down a few and Grace has moved ahead, go right and then head left.

On the left side will be some ammo. After picking up the ammo, destroy the box for more, and then shoot down the few zombies blocking her way. When she starts banging on the door, more zombies will come from the left side. Take care of them and keep your scope near Grace. An enemy will come from the back, and then a couple will come from the right side.

Then, eventually, the butcher zombie will come from the back side. I blew up the explosive to take care of it, but shooting this monster will be fine too. There will be some more monsters approaching Grace, so take care of them as well, and then Grace will head inside the chapel.

Then your objective will be updated to head inside the chapel.

Head Inside The Chapel

Climb down from the roof, and Leon will land in his own style. Then follow the path to the chapel while defeating some zombies. Head inside the chapel, and a cutscene will begin. Once the cutscene ends, you will get a new objective.

Fight Off The Infected

There is going to be a very disgusting enemy who seems like it will not go down with just a few shots. Around the chapel, you can find a med injector and a grenade. There will also be an explosive you can shoot. As more zombies storm inside, use it when there are too many.

The key to defeating the big monster is to destroy the orange-like flesh you see on its body. However, it will not be that simple because there are going to be many zombies inside. Use a grenade to take out a few together and then focus on the main enemy. When you stun it, make sure to perform the melee hit, as that can also help in destroying the orange flesh.

I recommend using the shotgun here, and once you have defeated the main enemy, clear out the rest. Once you have done that, head to the door from where Grace left, and a cutscene will begin. When it is over, you will be back to playing as Grace, and the Water Treatment Plant section will start, which I will cover in the next walkthrough.
