Following the Beam

After the opening cutscene, you’ll see a large statue up ahead. A concentrated ray of light is coming out from its hands, shining straight down at the lens below.

Continue forward, then jump to the gallery on the right and use it to cross the gap. There’s a hole that takes you to the lower level.

Keep following the path, and you’ll enter a large round chamber. You need to figure out a way to let the beam through to the lower level.

Head right, around the room where you’ll spot a crank. This rotates the beam.

Go past the crank all the way to the right to spot a crank. This one controls where the light is coming from.

Faro will take care of this one while you operate the one that controls the light. Rotate the crank to clear away the corruption.

With the path cleared, go around the room and make your way through the door at the end.

Continue forward with Faro until you reach a lever. Interact with it to take the platform to the lower level.
Aligning the Lens

This will take you to another part of the zone where you can spot a misaligned lens.

Keep going left till you spot the first crank. This one is completely blocked by corruption.

Continue forward. You’ll spot the light control crank up ahead, but you can’t use it, as it will burn you and Faro.

Just past this, there’s a slider on a track. This lets you push a giant barricade forward.

Push it toward the light control crank so that you don’t get burned when you use it.

Use the crank to move the light along the corrupted corridor and clear the lens control crank.

Interact with it to align the lens until it faces downward.

Go left and defeat the soldiers up ahead.

After defeating the enemies, keep moving forward. You’ll hear the creature wreaking havoc. But it won’t attack you right now.

Drop off the ledge and proceed onward till you reach a scaffold.

Drop off from the left and continue making your way down.

The lower part of the zone is covered in corruption. Look for a brazier that you can light up.

As you light the brazier, you get attacked by the Petrified Soldiers. These enemies are extremely annoying. You have to keep attacking them until they are staggered, then use a Critical Strike to reveal the corruption inside them.

Once that’s done, use Light Concentration to aim at their head until they go down. Defeat all the enemies in the area.

After the fight, use Light Concentration to clear away the corruption in the area and open your way forward.

Go along the path and jump on top of the platform. There’s a lever that you can use to go down.
Reaching the Last Lens

You can spot the next lens in the distance, but there’s no direct path to it.

Once the elevator reaches the bottom, go right until you spot a grapple point. Use it to go down.

As you do so, the platform breaks and Faro gets stuck in the upper area.

Continue descending using the scaffold and swing across to the area with two open braziers.

Fight off the Petrified Soldiers that ambush you.

Faro catches up with you after the fight.

Turn around and go up with Faro’s help.

Go around the rim of the lens until you spot a path that veers left.

Continue along the path. You’ll see two soldiers fiddling with a lens. You can fight them and get a Charm in the area. But that’s optional.

Keep moving left along the main path. Look for a passage near the wooden platform at the end.

This will lead you to a group of soldiers in the lower part. Go down and defeat the enemies.

There’s another scaffold that you can climb with Faro’s help.

Cross over to the other side with Faro, and you’ll spot a platform. Faro will operate the crank. Stand on the platform, and he’ll help you go up.

The passage at the top is filled with Petrifieds. They will attack you if you create blue trails or get too close to them.

Take your time and continue past the Petrifieds. The crank up ahead is blocked by corruption.

Stay on the path, and you’ll spot a passage on the right.

The passage is filled with even more petrifieds. Slowly move forward till you reach the end of the passage.

You’ll see an area with light coming in from the ceiling. Stand in the light and use Light Concentration to clear the corruption at the door.

Go through the door and rotate the crank to get rid of the corruption along the main passage.

Now you can operate the crank that controls the lens alignment.
Follow the Beam

With the elevator broken, go all the way to the right to spot a grapple point. Use it to go down.

There will be some more Petrified Soldiers here. Take them down.

Once the fight is over, clear the corruption near the gate to open the path forward. You can spot some Petrified on the other side of the gate. To be safe, I also cleansed as many of them as possible before heading through.

Go through the gate, and you’ll spot a passage with more Petrifieds on the right.

Continue forward till you see the exit. But the Petrifieds are blocking it. You have to bait them to follow you and then loop around to leave the area.

As you climb up the edge, Faro will speak with you from the other side. There’s a section with rotating platforms under the beam on the right.

For the next segment, you’ll have to cross the rotating platforms. It’s easier than it looks at first. Just time your movement and you should be fine.

Faro will open the lens for you up ahead. Continue moving forward till you reach the end of the zone. There’s one more closed lens up ahead. Turn right and head toward the passage.

Go forward once you step into the passage and turn left to spot a hole that you can crawl through.

As you step through, you’ll spot the big lever that controls the lens. You need to reach it.

Things get trickier, however, as the creature appears.

Slowly move through the zone. There’s a brazier up ahead that you can light up.

Use Light Concentrate after lighting the brazier to clear the corruption along the path.

Once the corruption clears, step through the door up ahead to the right. You’ll spot a grapple point that lets you climb up.

Quickly strike the brazier at the top and use Light Concentrate to fend off the creature.

This buys you enough time to use the nearby zipline to reach the platform with the big lever.

Rotate the lever to open the lens and let the light shine through.

Jump onto the platforms below and continue following the beams using the rotating platforms.

You’ll spot Faro up ahead. After the conversation, use the Grapple Point to jump through the hole on the left.

Following this path will take you to a large room filled with corruption. As soon as you head inside, there will be Petrified Soldiers for you to fight.

Defeat the enemies to progress. There are more of these enemies to fight when you swing across to the second platform.

After the fight, use the grapple point on the second platform to climb up and follow the path to rejoin Faro.
Navigating the Mines

After grouping up with Faro, the path ahead leads you into a mine. There are some Petrifieds up ahead, so you’ll have to move slowly.

The path is pretty linear. Just keep moving until you reach a gap with chains dangling from the ceiling. Jump across the gap.

Continue forward till you reach a camp. Faro will mention staying here before.

Follow the path from the camp slowly. The exit will be just a few steps ahead once you drop off a ledge.

As you leave the mines, a cutscene will trigger as a dagger from Irene strikes Faro. Sophia jumps down to confront the traitor.
Defeating Irene

The fight against Irene goes pretty much the same way as any other fight. Make sure you use the ability that lets you parry Red Attacks, as she has plenty of them in her arsenal.

When you drain her health pool twice, she will disappear from the arena for a moment. After a while, she will throw a dagger at you from the shadows. It’s a Yellow Attack. Make sure you parry it

The rest of the fight is pretty much the same. Drain her health one last time to defeat her.

This triggers the final cutscene of the chapter as Sophia finds Faro on the brink of death. But with his final bit of strength, Faro holds the crank open so that the Labyrinth is lit when you face the creature.
