Reaching the Heart of the Labyrinth
The First Gate

The chapter begins with Sophia arriving at the Labyrinth’s entrance. She encounters a heartbreaking sight as she watches Leni‘s corrupted form trying to reach out to her.

There’s nothing we can do for her, except put her to rest. Select the Light Concentration Sphere and do what needs to be done.

Walk up to the Receptacle up ahead and interact with it.

This opens the lenses, allowing a beam of light to cut through the maze.

Wait for the platforms to settle, then jump across the platforms on the left to continue forward.

Continue along the path and step through the gap on the right, between the rocks.

But as soon as you do so, the infection will start to take control. But you’ll hear Ariadne giving you strength and guiding your way forward. Follow the thread of light that appears.

When the path disappears, climb up the ledge and head toward the beam of light.

You will spot a lit brazier in a section below you. Head toward it.

After reaching the brazier, the creature appears. You’ll have to be careful the rest of the way. Wait for the creature to move away before you set off.

The next section is a bit hard to navigate. You’ll have to follow the beam of light while evading the monster. Just continue moving forward, hide when needed, and keep track of the light beam until you find a large circular chamber. The creature will stop chasing you once you reach the platform.

As you reach the platform, Sophia begins to hallucinate. Fight the enemies that appear before you.

Walk up to the Receptacle nearby and interact with it to open the lens so that the light reaches deeper into the Labyrinth.

Step through the gate that opens up and continue following the beam.
The Second Gate

As you go down a set of stairs, you’ll spot the threads of light once again. Follow it.

It will take you to a long passage. Head across to the other side.

You will spot a passage filled with Petrifieds on either side. Squeeze through.

This will take you to a large room full of Petrifieds. The mirror in the center of the room is blocked because of corruption.

Head to the far end of the room. Move slowly so that you don’t wake up the enemies.

You’ll find an unlit brazier on an elevated platform. Jump up to it and light up the brazier.

Rotate the light from the brazier to take out as many of the Petrifieds as possible and remove the corruption from the mirror. Aim the light beam at the mirror.

Aim the reflected light from the mirror toward the medallion above the door. The door can’t open fully, but there’s enough gap for you to crawl through to the other side.

Go through the door to exit to the other side of the Labyrinth. As you take a few steps forward, the creature comes in. Ariadne lays down the thread for you to follow. Sprint along the path.

This will take you straight to the second platform where you have to open another gate. You will see Minos standing at the center.

Jump across to the platform and fight off the warriors that appear around you.

Use the Receptacle nearby to open the second gate.
The Third Gate

Continue forward past the gate and head through the hole in the wall across the gap.

Keep moving until you spot a door blocked off by corruption. There are also a bunch of petrifieds here that you’ll need to be careful of.

Head to the platform with the unlit brazier and light it up.

Aim the light at the medallion and clear away the corruption and petrifieds in the area.

Step through the door and enter the tight passage up ahead.

Walk to the edge of the passage. There is more corruption in the area below you. Drop down.

Look for a pressure plate along the sides of the room. Stepping on it will let light enter the room through the grates from below.

Stand on the lit area and use Light Concentration to remove the corruption from the door.

Take out the two Petrified Soldiers that spawn afterward. You’ll have to step on the Pressure Plate again to allow light inside.

Head toward the boulders and use your Grapnel to pull them down to clear your path.

Once you’re back out to the Labyrinth, you’ll see Ariadne’s threads along the path. The Creature will start chasing you. Follow the light and sprint as quickly as you can.

The chase will lead you to an area with an unlit brazier. There are Petrifieds nearby, so you’ll have to be careful.

Light up the brazier. Then follow the path up the stairs

There’s a Petrified guarding the corner up ahead. You’ll have to crouch past it.

Continue moving forward and crouching whenever you spot a Petrified.

The creature will also start hunting you in the area up ahead. Continue climbing up. You’ll spot one of the lenses that’s directing the light up ahead.

Go up the stairs past the lens and go all the way to the top. Once you reach the roof, Sophia begins to hallucinate again.

Take out the enemies that spawn around you. Clear out the enemies to trigger a cutscene.

After the cutscene, the creature will begin to chase you. Follow the path straight ahead and keep jumping across the platforms till you reach the next gate.

Interact with the Receptacle to open the gate.

There’s a zipline made of light just past the gate.

Slide across the zipline and continue forward to reach the heart of the Labyrinth.
Facing the Minotaur

After the cutscene, drop down to the area in front of the Minotaur statue.

Follow the thread to the cracked part near the heart of the Minotaur.

Break the heart with your Grapnel.

You’ll get a glimpse of Astorian. Turn around and head toward the device at the far end of the area. Interact with it to open a weapon that fires a concentrated light beam.

Shoot it at the heart to break it.

More wounds appear on the statue that you’ll have to break. It also causes multiple creatures to come out of the statue. You’ll have to burn them to keep them away.

After dealing enough damage, Ariadne will tell Sophia to run.

Back away from the weapon and use the zipline to swing across. Head toward the elevated platform near the statue.

As you do so, the Minotaur will attack the ground with corruption. Make sure you avoid these.

Use your Grapnel on the mouth of the Minotaur from both platforms to break it open.

You will suddenly find yourself transported somewhere else. Ariadne will speak to Asterion directly. Continue walking toward the Minotaur.

As creatures erupt from the Minotaur’s heart, turn around and start running. The landscape will change around you as you run.

Eventually, you’ll make it to a circular staircase. Go up to the top.

Use the weapon again to strike at the wounds and burn the creatures. Eventually, a cutscene triggers.

As the dust settles, continue toward the door at the base of the statue.

You will find Asterion sitting on his corrupted throne. Watch the cutscene play out.
Chapter 14 – Epilogue

Chapter 14 serves as the epilogue of the game and has no puzzles to solve or enemies to fight. Keep walking forward with Sophia as you leave the Island. There are some heart-wrenching moments as the story comes to an end.
Congratulations on finishing Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. Enjoy the final cutscenes of the game. I won’t spoil them for you.
