RetroSpace Walkthrough Part 2

Welcome to our RetroSpace Walkthrough.

Part 2 continues your exploration of Aurora 5 as you push deeper into the station and begin uncovering more of what went wrong. After restoring the generator, you’ll find new routes, encounter your first enemies, unlock shortcuts, and gain access to the Nexus Plaza Garden. Along the way, you’ll pick up useful attachments, explore the garden sections, and eventually reach the Head Gardener’s office to retrieve the Gene Sucker. RetroSpace encourages exploration and multiple ways of dealing with obstacles, so keep an eye out for hidden paths and useful supplies as you progress.

Explore the Area After Restoring the Generator

With the generator now operational head back out. Climb the ladder back up and go to the left and enter the narrow crawlspace by moving the box.

Break the grill at the back of the room to access the crawlspace. Climb down the red ladder and to the back is a bunch of lockers with Credits and scraps. Towards the front of this room is another narrow crawlspace, go through it.

Follow the path through and at the end you will find a corpse and can pick up an audio log “Tough as Hell!” Drop down the side and pick up the credit and scraps from the room below. You will be back in the Janitor’s closet from earlier.

Return to the Elevator

Go back to the elevator now and go up. Getting off you will find two doors, one locked and the other is unlocked. Go to the right through the unlocked door.

You will encounter the first enemy here. Shoot him down. Go down the ramp and you will find another Suzie Smallgun near the corpse. You can scrap it if you want. Go to the back of the room, behind the ramp. You will find a door that you can unlock. This will unlock the shortcut back to the lobby where you got the passwords earlier.

Enter the Angel-Symbol Door

Go back to the ramp and go forward. You will come to a door with 2 angel symbols on it. Open the door and go through.

Find the PHCD

Go through and watch the cutscene. Dr Nebula gets in touch with as you enter. To the right is a corpse and you can pick up the PHCD next to it.

Your next objective will be to find a way to the Nexus Plaza Garden.

Objective: Find a Way to the Nexus Plaza Garden

With the PHCD now, you will have access to a number of options.

Go around the electrified pool of water at the base of the statue and you will find a desktop console on a table. You need a password to access the pc.

Directly behind it is a map terminal, access it to download map data.

Enter the Nexus Plaza Garden

There are a couple of stairs heading to the upper level, behind it is the door to the security section. Next to it a door marked “Garden”. Go through that.

Follow the path till Dr. Nebula calls you back and gives you a new objective.

Objective: Obtain a Gene Sucker

On the first couch, near the corpse you can find a note.

Find the Bertha Shotgun

Go towards the section marked B. There is a Heal – a – Dome here. Kill the spider that attacks you. Follow the left path and you will find a hanging body and a Bertha Shotgun at his feet.

Find the Map and Hacking Attachments

Up ahead is the Head Gardener’s office – which is where you need to go, to the left is section C and a map terminal. Near the map terminal is a corpse and next to it is the Map Attachment for your HUD.

Check the map terminal now to get a mini map to the bottom of your screen. To the left is an unlocked service door and a locked door. You can’t go through the service door due to a steam blocking the way. You need one of these valves you have seen around the place. If you don’t have access to one go back and unlock the door with the console and go through.

Shoot the enemy on the other side of the door. Go forward and you will see a malfunctioning elevator. Past it is a narrow ledge. You can pick up a Cosmi Cola on your way past.

Go through and at the end you will find the hacking attachment.

Go through the and get on the balcony with the broken railing. You should be back around to where you picked up the map attachment. Go back to the Head Gardener’s office. Check the terminal and you will see you need a Keycard or you can hack the door. Complete the simple hacking mini game to access the door.
