Plight and Reinvention are the third and fourth chapters of Romeo Is a Dead Man. These chapters expand the story and offer a broader view of Romeo and Juliet’s relationship before he became a dead man.
The third chapter acts as a resting point between chapters two and four, which introduces you to further mechanics of the game.

A Nightmare

The chapter begins in a nightmare on Last Night Spaceship after a cutscene of Romeo and Juliet. Walk through the Last Night until you see a dark door to your right in SilverSox’s room. Enter the door to initiate another cutscene, and later, Romeo wakes up in his room.
Once you return to the real world, head to the Briefing Room and talk to Kimberley. Then, follow SilverSox, who introduces you to the Training Facility.
Training Facility and Certificate Signature

Enter the simulation and complete a set of objectives until you enter a red hallway. There, SilverSox will lead you into a Battle Simulator to fight against a giant skeleton; beat it to continue the story.

The easiest way to defeat the giant skeleton is to use Yggdrasil (Rocket Launcher) and Juggernaut (Fists) as your weapons. Pop the bubbles on the skeleton with the launcher and smash it down with Juggernaut.

Return to the main hall of the facility through the unlocked door in the arena, and collect the Red Sentrey in your way. Head outside, and SilverSox will take you back to Last Night.
Back at Last Night, take the certificate from Sox and head for the Lounge to get it signed by GreenRiver. Lastly, give the certificate to Kimberley and sleep in your room.

After clearing this process, the Boss Rush mode is unlocked. To access it, talk to SilverSox again and fight any boss of your choice on different difficulties.

Heading to the City Hall – Chapter Four Begins
After you wake up, visit the Debrief Room where Kimberly assigns you a new bounty on another Juliet in the universe. Go to the cockpit, scan the singularity, and set your course to the newly discovered Dimensional Seer.
Destroy the Seer and now enter the City Hall to begin the chapter. As soon as you land, access the Space-Time Pharmacy to your right to save the game.

Continue forward to initiate a wave of zombies and defeat them. The entire City Hall is infested with zombies, so tread carefully and kill anyone who blocks your path.
Head to the second floor and collect the Tesseract that contains the Civil Engineering Department Key. Now, explore the left section of the floor and use the key to unlock a door.

Inside the room, fight the Psycho Rotter, a powerful zombie, who can be killed immediately with a single shot from Yggdrasil. The next objective is located on the fourth floor, but the path forward is blocked by a barrier.
To unlock this barrier, head into the Subspace using the Nirvana TV. For now, access to the major areas is blocked in the Subspace. Follow the path ahead to reach the second TV and access the third floor.
City Hall – Third Floor

You are transported to the third floor. Exit the room, and be prepared for a large wave of zombies. If you have any incomplete business on Last Night, use the Space-Time Pharmacy in the room to teleport there.
Killing the wave of zombies unlocks the fourth floor and makes the third floor explorable. However, the entire area is blocked by the barriers.
Now, interact with the Nirvana TV on the stairs to return to the Subspace. Ahead, you will discover a giant, distorted green orb that you can fix to spawn a ladder.

Climb the ladder to collect the first Klista Gate Key part and return to the City Hall through the TV. This time, you’re teleported directly into the Mayor’s Office on the fourth floor.

Collect the Jade Key from the room, which can be used to break the barriers all over the Hall.
Mayor’s Office Locker Code

In the Mayor’s office, there exists a locker that you need to unlock. Two clues for the locker code are in the room, but for the rest, return to the Subspace; this chapter completely relies on going back and forth between worlds.
Break the barrier before you, and continue exploring the Subspace. After descending a set of stairs, interact with the green orb to spawn another staircase that takes you to the bottom.



Lastly, collect another Exorcist Jade Key, and use the Nirvana TV to visit the City Hall’s basement. There, find the room at the far east, and fight the giant skeleton you saw in the Training Facility.
Collect the Locker code clue and interact with the Tesseract to retrieve the Underground Warehouse Key. Once again, use the Nirvana TV in the room to visit the Subspace. Fix the three green orbs in your way, and find the final Klista Gate Key part.

Again, use Nirvana TV to return to the Real Space and find the final clue and the vault key. Head to the Mayor’s Room, then enter the locker code.
According to the four clues you have discovered, put them in order, and you get:
- 9 (Right)
- 7 (Left)
- 4 (Right)
- 12 (Left)
Once the locker opens, head inside to find the Klista Gate.
Death Changeling Boss Fight
This fight is all about movement control. Death Changeling is another version of Singularity Juliet, and it is difficult to follow. Since there are no weak points, you have to deal normal damage; it’s a tanky boss, so make sure to mix your attacks with different weapons.

Once defeated, return to the Last Night and celebrate the victory with your crew.
