Romeo Is a Dead Man’s Chapter Two, Hubris, introduces us to the central hub of the game, where you can upgrade weapons and continue the story.
In this guide, we will provide you with a detailed walkthrough of the second chapter and how the central hub, the Last Night, works.

Last Night Tutorial

After defeating the mutated Juliet, Romeo returns to the central hub (a giant spaceship called the Last Night). The perspective shifts from the standard third person to an isometric view, giving greater freedom to explore.
To the right, talk to BlueMountain and Kimberly, who guide you to the Training Room. Move downwards to find the Lounge and Training Room to your right and left, respectively.
Training Room

In the Training Room, use the DeadBall Enhancer to upgrade your weapons with the Sentrey and Red Sentrey you found in the Tesseracts. Both ranged and melee weapons use the same materials for upgrades.
Adjacent to DeadBall Enhancer, you can find the DeadBall Unlocker that consumes Emerald Flowsions to unlock new weapons.

At the bottom is the DeadGear Cannon Ball. It’s a minigame where you can spend Emerald Flowsions as a means to upgrade the following:
- Maximum HP
- Ranged Attack Damage
- Melee Attack Damage
- Reload Speed
- Blood Charge Capacity
- Blood Summer Health Recovery
- Aim Speed
- Regenetizer Carry Limit (Health Recovery Pills Upgrade)
- Regenetizer Health Recovery
The most crucial thing in this room is the Sentry Forge, which converts the collected Space Debris from investigations into Sentreys.
The Cafe and Katsu Curry Minigame

Exit the Training Room and visit the Lounge to talk with Marianne, Romeo’s Mother. There, the game introduces the Katsu Curry minigame, which allows you to create buff items.
The cooking items you discover during your adventures (Turmeric, Nutmeg, etc.) can be used in the Lounge. Interact with Marianne to start the minigame, and hold left click until the countdown begins.

Once the Fahrenheit meter appears, press the left click on the red line, which is usually 180 degrees.
The rest of the central hub is locked until later parts of the game. Now, visit the Garden that you can find with the help of the blue exclamation mark.
The Garden

Bastard Cultivation is the way. In the Garden, talk to Luna, and she tells Romeo about the Bastard Cultivation, which allows you to plant zombies and unlock further abilities.
You won’t have a Bastard Seed initially; Luna gives it to you after talking to her. The time to harvest a zombie depends on its rarity, but in the tutorial, you can immediately skip the cultivation time with 600 Emerald Flowsions.

Interact with the hand on the ground and complete the minigame to retrieve the Bastard. Head to the equipment menu to equip it in a slot. Later, gather more Emerald Flowsions to upgrade the garden capacity.
With the basic tutorial complete, return to the briefing room and speak with Kimberly. Wait for the debrief and get the mission document signed by every agent on the ship. Additionally, you’ll be given a Venus Pin.

Lastly, head to the cockpit and set the course for the Dimensional Seer. Once done, it’s now time to head for the chapter’s main objective: finding a high-value Singularity.
Entering the Mall

The second chapter takes place in a Mall. Defeat the zombies ahead and turn the first generator on, and keep an eye on the compass above to locate your following objectives.
Find the Space-Time Pharmacy near the first generation, which now allows you to travel back to the Last Night spaceship and upgrade your weapons directly.

Don’t forget to explore all the shops on the bottom floor to find Tesseracts with Sentreys and buffing items. Next, head to the second floor for the other generator hidden in a shop.
Raise the shutter and get ready to fight a giant mutated zombie named Flab; it has a weak point on its back. Additionally, the room is filled with zombies and snipers that deal devastating damage. By combining your arsenal and the double-dash, defeat them all.
Head in the East direction and watch out for Geckos. Make sure to visit the Space-Time pharmacy to refill your health regularly. For the third generator, jump down from the second floor into the enclosure.

Defeat the zombie waves and then interact with the generator. After the area is clear, use the Nirvana TV to visit the Subspace. Explore it thoroughly to discover the Klista Gate keys and Myopia, a Badge that buffs normal and nerfs ranged attacks.
However, the path to the final key will be blocked by a barrier. Return to the real space through the second Nirvana TV in Subspace and interact with the pink Tesseract to get an Exorcist Sword; it will break the door.

Return to the enclosure to revisit the Subspace and break the barrier. Enter the next room to pick up the final Klista Gate key part and exit this world by using the Nirvana TV near it.
Finally, head to the final generator and turn it on. If you touch the red blocks, Romeo loses his momentum, which can be regained by completing a small quick-time event. After the generator, use the Nirvana TV and return to the first hall of the mall.
Dancing in the Dark

Once you reach the objective, the lights will turn off, and you will be thrown into a pitch-black area. There, fight against the white creatures you first see in the game’s beginning.
After a few minutes of struggle, you will be returned to the real space with a Klista Gate before you.
Enhanced Phantasm Boss Fight

Enter the Klista Gate to begin the Enhanced Phantasm boss fight to conclude chapter two. To beat the boss, use regular attacks and destroy its weak points with ranged weapons.
Keep an eye out for its electric orbs; run around the arena to avoid them. Additionally, if you hear beeps, that’s the cue to run above using the escalator as Phantasm will execute a powerful AOE attack on the ground.

Attack and dodge the orbs to defeat the Phantasm boss ultimately. Lastly, collect the Star Omega and return to celebrate your victory.
