In the beginning, Samson plunks you down on the gritty, dilapidated streets of Tyndalston, where nothing good ever happens, and once it does, it never lasts. You control Samson McCray, a man forced back into a world that he was trying to leave in order to save his sister from his debtors and pay off his huge debt. This game is all about staying grounded and realistic, giving you tough fights with equally fast and furious driving. In this prologue we learn the various jobs such as beatdown, takedown, delivery and contracts we can do in the game and learn the basics of what it takes to survive.
Missions
Day 1
After the introduction cutscene, you will have control of Samson. Do the tutorial bit to familiarize yourself with the controls.

Answer the phone. Its on the red wall in the next room, next to the map. It’s a call from Carter and he will give you some small time jobs. Open up the map and you will find four missions available for the day. Alternatively if you look at your UI you will see the time of the day and how much you need to pay daily. There is also an XP Bar.

So on the map you have 4 available missions that you can do in any order. You also have 2 Action Pointsper time of the day. Any mission that you do will take 2 slots and that whole time of day (Noon/Evening/Night).
Go out the front door and on to the street to find your ride on the opposite parking lot. The closest mission is “Dumbass Dookie’s Dilemma”. Select that to start. It’s the one on the far left.

Drive down South Street until you pass a gas station and you will see a green marker.
Follow the yellow map marker on the minimap and go to the back of the pharmacy.

Wait there and you will hear gunshots. Let the kid get in and now lose the cops. Ride out the wanted meter on top.

Once it dies down the cops will give up the chase. Drive to Gamble’s Mill and drop the kid off.

Once you drop the kid off the mission’s done. Next select the “Just Kids” mission.
Just Kids – Beatdown

Drive down to Spring Street.

Get of the car, go down the stairs and turn left then right through the scaffolding till you reach the alley. Beat up the guys in the alley. Follow the basic combat tutorial.

Pick up the painkillers and the cash they drop. You need to drop a total of 6 wannabees. This will complete the mission. Next select “Market Street and Gamble Mill”
Market Street & Gamble Mill – Delivery

Reward: $500
Experience: 500
Drive down to the map marker, near the housing.

You will be on a timer now. You need to make 2 deliveries, one to Market St and the other to Gamble Mill, within 3 minutes. Go to the green circles on the edge of your mini map or click on the map to get pathing guidance.
Drive into the green zones to complete delivery. This will end the day as you are out of Action Points (AP). Head back to your crib to replenish your AP. Back at home, pick up the phone and answer to speak to Oonagh. Next go to sleep.
Day 2
The day starts with a call from Carter and unlocks the first chapter but you can’t get to it before night. So finish up the jobs on your plate. As far as AP is concerned, if you find Points of Interest across town you will unlock more AP per day. Get to your car. There will be two debt collectors near your car. Beat them down. Debt collectors show up in greater numbers if you don’t pay your daily due. Which is $2000 today. Open your map and select the mission “Gold’s Gas is Like Family”.

Drive down to Marsh Steet.

Follow the map to Gold’s Gas on South St. Take out the cars marked in red.

Ram into them, sideswipe them. Generally, go nuts. Do this to both cars. In the evening, pick “Make him Pay”

Experience 500

Go inside the building on the left and make your way to the end. You can pick up melee weapons and fight. You will find the manager on top of the stairs.

You can pick up a Combat Magazine here, combat magazines upgrade your Adrenaline Rush ability. Fight your way out of the factory now. This will complete the prologue and start the actual game from Chapter 1.
